Nice explaination 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Can you tell that can these bulbs be used in car interior dome light with DIMMING effect where light goes off slowly when we close car door? T10 base specifically
Most people after a t5, are after backlight for gauges. The wrong style will cause blotchy light, or "hot spots". . . .I'd also like to add, that you should choose an led that will cast light into the reflector if applicable. A forward facing led will never put as much usable light out of a reflector housing, as an appropriately designed 2 sided led.
Wattage is the measure of power dissipated, or used. In electronics, the electrical equivalent of one horsepower is 746 watts in the International System of Units
The main problem i have with T10 dashboard lights is that they never have the light source in the correct spot, so the factory diffusers within the cluster no longer function correctly and as a result, you get hot spots and shadows.
I've run across the same issue. You have to try and figure out if you need a lamp that offers more light off the end or the sides and try and pick the one that would work best. It can get expensive in a hurry you end up have to try 5 different types. 😒
Which style would you recommend for a parking light than is also a DRL? Would I want more forward facing or 360 degree or even side to side? For reference I have a Renault Clio MK3. Taking your awesome bulbs overseas with me😎
Such a great video! I've been messing with Led bulbs for a while now, mostly store bought and not very high quality, or even wiring small pcbs instead of tubular bulbs. I've come to some conclusions myself, but you explain all just perfectly and give great advice on brands and types of application. Thanks!
Thank you for the video. Very informative. Is there any danger to replacing a T10 5W halogen bulb with a T15 12W LED bulb? My car's lamp housing has space for the larger T15 bulbs, but I am worried the socket and/or wires cannot withstand the higher wattage.
If you replace all your turn signals/break lights, etc with these LED’s, do you have to do anything given the different power output? Or just replace and move on?

It is very important to me that when I reverse, my reverse light will be blinding people left and right behind my car. I rather then upgrading my T15s bulb in my reverse light into that GTR LED that is as bright as a headlight. I will be cutting off the socket and connect it to 2 very large spotlights that I then mount it on the roof top of my car. Just to make sure people from 10km away can see me and knows, "ah that guy is reversing his car".
Now I think that would get the job done! Just make sure that you have those spotlights mounted with a 55W 5th Generation HID kit for maximum light output!😂
