I think if you did take it to 400hp or whatever, i would find nothing left on my next bike ride North to Austin but a helmet on the side of the road with a Yammie head inside permanently stuck with a huge grin becauase that kind of power on a bike on the street would aurely get you vaporized from the neck down. It was a fun developement to watch and with a nice paint job the bike would also look good. But most people can't afford 20k+ for a bike. I'll stick with my Valkyrie. You may be faster than me but I would win the long haul race with my big tank and gas can strapped to the back for long hauls. I won't lie though, i am a bit jelly. 😂

Your tuner had a problem with tuning it to have a lower idle and probably tuning the low speed cruising as well because of the injectors. Go with some Injector Dynamics or maybe FIC and get it retuned and I guarantee it'll be easier to tune and run/idle better. It's a common problem with cars running high flow injectors.

Keep it at 270 and keep it reliable. If it's done correctly a turbo busa with less than 300 HP should be pretty reliable if you change the fluids a bit more often and remember to cool the turbo a bit before shutting the engine off and the usual stuff with tuned turbos.

I don’t think the Busa puts down enough power. The Busa is a heavy bike, and with modern liter bikes making more power than a factory Busa while still being significantly lighter they are always faster. 650ib H2 is over 300 horses at the wheel. Maybe if 650ib was racing on a CBR or something comparable yammie might stand a chance, I’m not sure. Personally I still prefer the Busa though.

Upgraded rods are always good, I have to wonder if you really need such big injectors. Mine was a budget build and I used Honda S2K injectors. They perform well in daily driving they are easily big enough for 325+ horses.

But honestly without a little stretch on the swingarm, anything over 300hp is fairly useless below like 160. Not to mention traction issues really start to limit you at those numbers.

Great to see you finally got it fixed and going, what did the old tuner have to say, did he give you some money back or anything for blowing up the bike?
im hearing a ticking. its either the timing chain isnt adjusted enough(easy fix) or it has an exhaust leak
maybe a smaller sprocket to get the revs down on the highway. its a 7K at cruise speeds, maybe get that down to 5,000 RPM thats a pretty big sprocket change tho

A switchable auxiliary tank would be a great mod. A dummy nitrous bottle of Cam2 would be cool.

If you are looking to keep it ‘streetable’, I’m just wondering if you could raise the bike incrementally to improve the lean angle for cornering whilst maintaining the current stability and balance geometry using the Brock kit? So much more development appears to be possible, especially for if you choose to get over your trepidation and decide to take the busa down to your local circuit for a rip. (I know you will!)

@@yammienoob It strange that a bike like this, before turbo-ing, would be awful to ride on the track. My ZX-14 is beautiful to ride. But then again, it could be whatever you prefer to ride on the track. Keep up the good work! I thoroughly enjoy your channel. 😁

Nice. Next can we have a comparison of race gas Vs avgas 100 aero fuel thru her, costs per litre/gallon of exotica and power potential please?
If it's good enough for a p47 thunderbolt high altitude fighter. It should also be good enough for our road rocket too!
    Cheers from across the pond

Pump gas in the UK is 99 Octane so would be interesting to see what kind of power you could get on that. Not sure how much difference 6 Octane would make on the bike but vehicles get different power figures here than they do in the USA

Papa Yam get's his turbo busa all dialed in and gets modest and humble. Wow, that's what brass balls and having 270hp do to ya? Like Mike Tyson knows he doesn't have to be Mad Mike.

Can you mount a camera onto the front of the bike as well? This way in a pull we can see it instead of a close up on the tank. (Plus it hides the speedo without the worries of blurring.
