Benelli tnt 1130r might be everything that you say but not a bad goofee looking motorcycles for a 20years old design I still think that is modern looking machine It can still turn heads and whats motorcycles are about
As someone who rode bikes for a living in the 1980s the CX500 was the go to despatch bike in London in those days. I too scoffed at them and used to call them the “plastic maggot” but after my first year they have my eternal respect. I would put on +/- 30,000 miles a year on them. Maneuverable in town and good enough for a steady 85 on the motorway. They were fugly enough for people not to want to steal them.
Agreed the Honda CX500A and CX500B weren't pretty but still did a good job. The CX500 Eurosport was a big improvement and I got one second hand fully equipped with Trident fairing, top box and panniers and only 9,000 miles! Got 115,000 miles out of it before a SMIDSY got me, yeah, dayglo equipped, bright white, full fairing with twin spotlights!!!..... sorry mate? ? Courier for many years covering at least 90,000 miles a year, using Honda CX500B, and CX500EC which never caused me any real problems up to about 80,000 miles. Never had a cam chain tensioner go on me ( more of a CX500A problem.) but usually had to replace the rear wheel drive socket or shaft bezel at those mileages and occasionally a generator (engine drop down job!!) but after 120,000 they were worn out anyway. Fantastic size bike for a courier capable of lunch hour servicing and plenty of cheap spare parts if required. Don't ever recall worrying about the back end moving about and just loved shaft drive where available using multiple Honda CX500, Kawasaki GT550, GT750, Suzuki GS850G all shaft. Never bothered what the bike looked like either just so long as it did the job with fairings and handlebar muffs as well. No point in being 300 miles from home at 2.00am and thinking how COOL you look if you are freezing your butt off and can't feel your fingers or toes! Happy days! 🤯😬
I rode a CX500 from Montana to San Francisco and back in the early 80’s twice. It was a good bike. 30 years later I was in LA, and I saw several of them still in use. That motor was indestructible.
I had a cafe racer CX500 back in the 90's. Handling with that torque rotation was great. Open up and use it to pull you in and round bends. I guess you just need to know how to ride them. Yeah... effort is required, and who today wants to exert any effort?
Agree. A friend had one and it was his only transport. He literally built his house with that bike, carrying bricks, bags of cement and spades on it. A mutual friend once phoned and said I needed to get out into the road and wait for him to pass; I won't believe my eyes. The CX duly chugged past, carrying a palm tree, a vacuum cleaner and his dog. No shit.
We Ninja 250R owners shall gather on your doorstep with pitchforks and torches. It may take a while...a very very long while...for us to get there. In all seriousness, it’s DIRT cheap and is a giant slayer in the twisties, plus it’s literally unkillable...as long as you add fuel stabilizer in the winter.
Hay a honda grom got me through college, and I always had great parking, my senior year I got an internship and drove the grom 100 miles round trip everyday, from the money I saved in gas and insurance I was able to sell the grom and buy a new cb500 and I added a quick shifter, it is so much fun really makes me want my next bike to be one of Hondas Dct models.
I bought an 2018 650 with 1k miles for my first bike, and it’s just fine. 4500 bucks and I got reliability and decent handling. Sure it’s not extremely fun, but that’s not what I wanted out of a first bike. Highly recommend it to anyone as a first bike if you are at least 5’9
I’m old enough to have owned a Honda CX500 - the reliability issues (mostly related to cam chain tensioners) were easily sorted. These were among the greatest bikes ever made...their longevity is second to none!
Even though I've loved and owned a few Italian sports bikes I have to say that my ownership time on the CX500 was pretty good. Having said that I will admit that the alternator did fail at the worst possible time in the most disadvantageous place and the motor had to be removed and the rear of it had to be disassembled to get the replacement in. Other than that it went hard and was comfortable, at least more comfortable than my Ducati 450 Desmo Silver Shotgun was.
@@potrzebieneuman4702 back in the day I bought a super clean one for peanuts because it had a duff alternator. Yes, engine out to fix (and did the water pump seal as a precaution while I was at it) but when that was done (and cam chain) it was a keeper. All my mates took the piss…until the day they needed to borrow it.
"Greatest bikes ever made" No, not by a long way, they were "Mediocre" at best, they were either "Bullet Proof" or "Shite" I do believe that they are remembered as being much better than they ever were, it's akin to watching that movie you loved as a kid, the best film ever, then when you get to see it again you realize just how shit it actually was. I have a few of "The Greatest bikes ever made" Suzuki GT750, RG500 (Gassed), Katana 750, GXSR750, Yamaha XS1100 & 650, RD250(air-cooled), RD500LC, FZR1000 "Genisis," Honda CB750 4, Fireblade, Kawasaki Z900. These are "Arguably" some of the most fun bikes ever made, imhho some of the "Greatest bikes ever made" while the CX500 holds a "Special Place" in the hearts of many "The Greatest" of anything it was not.& I owned & maintained a great many.
The stuff Royal Enfield makes right now is actually very good. They pretty much overhauled the entire company allong with their manufacturing process, allowing them to make bikes with such good quality it actually tops Fortnines Laboratory Test as the Manufacturer with the best assembly line.
for maybe 3k more you could get a z900rs, you could get leftover z900 or mto9 for the same price cmon, if you want an old man bike ill sell you my 1985 v45 for 800$ its runs it needs fixed up
The 650 twins are okayish, but common RE makes one of the most unreliable and unrefined bikes. I don't need tech but if you can't give a refined engine give some tech. RE provides neither.
@@Moeilijk18 they really underpowered. Yes the price is efficient and if that's what you are going for, that's totally cool. But if it's soemthing more powerful that you want, or something less vibrational, Royal Enfield isn't the bike you'd want to go for.
Strongly disagree on the versys 650. It is a very fun bike in the twisties, is an awesome commuter, comfortable for touring and i even did some dirt and gravel roads when i had mine. Just get a set of 80/20-70/30 tires a take it where you want. Has better suspension (specially at the front) than the vstrom, more ground clearance, less distance bewtween wheels which makes it more agile. Now against the 790-890 adventure, the price difference is way to big, there is no point in comparing them (for the record, i now own a 790 adv R).
People are forgetting that in (light) offroading there are only two important factors - tires and weight. Even a sport-tourer with the right tires can do light offroading (been there, done that). Normal "adventure bikes" are usually overpriced and overweight tarmac-touring machines with "adventure" styling. Truth be told, offroading on a 250 kg bike is nothing fun. Of course 790-890 belongs rather in dual-sport category, with is something more suited for offroading (and less for highway) ;-)
I think the NC700 is a cheaper more reliable option , many passed 200k now ! And ive crashed mine off road countless times with only superficial damage
I agree, not sure how the Versys made it on a “worst motorcycle” list. I’m ok calling it uninspiring or bland, but to say it’s a bad motorcycle just because of that isn’t fair to the bike. They’re inexpensive to buy, reliable, easy to maintain, sip gas, and are all day comfortable. There are a lot more bikes deserving to be on this list than a Versys.
To each there own.... I bought a used Versys in 2010 and enjoyed every minute of it until my house burned down in 2015, and then owned a melted motorcycle...i guess at that point it deserved to be on the list....
@@Richaag - In this channel, bikes have to be skin-tearingly fast in order to be considered good. Just take everything the host says with a lump of salt.
Same, with a slip on its not that boring. And it does bit of everything, twisty road? No problem. Long distance traveling ? Sure. Commuting? No problem. It is actually more fun than the V strom or the NC750X. I honestly think they should get a Versys for a test, before throwing so much shit on the bike.
@@jirimaca5456 having to compare how fun a bike is and need to brind the NC750 into the comparison it's not a good signal. But I agree that the NC should be in the video instead.
@@bigdogpete43 mine ran for 15 minute intervals... not fun riding a main highway surrounded by barriers and big rigs waiting for it to conk out, then pushing the thing for 15-20mins with afore mentioned big rigs wooshing past a meter or so distance away having it finally start again for it to happen again 5 mins later... for 150kms! Did i mention it was raining too? Definately WORST BIKE EVER! at least it sounded and looked ok... but don't get one.
The ninja 250 is the best 250 you could buy in the us. The only 250 that can actually reach 100 mph and keep up with highway traffic without redlining the engine the entire time
He's obviously never owned one. The bit about torque reaction under deceleration is barely noticeable, and the bit about the brakes dragging is utter bullshit. If he talked about the woeful brakes on the single disc models and the garbage electrical / ignition system, and the useless / disastrous cam chain tensioner from new, sure, I'd be all ears.
well respected ari henning chooses the versys 650 for his only personal bike, yammie claims it to be the 3rd worst motorcycle ever made... yeah that's a no for me dawg
Check out FortNine's lab analysis of ( lack of ) contaminants in first service oil from every maker. Number one is Royal Enfield... ... in second to dead last place may surprise you. The vid is called Which Motorcycle Manufacturer is Best?
You are correct about Royal Enfield having very tight engineering/manufacturing tolerances. FortNine's video was very telling. I only watched this video because it was linked to in a Versys 650 forum. Yammie Noob is a hack. I couldn't care less what he has to say about anything. Neither should anyone else.
I like FortNine's videos, but they kind of dropped the ball on that video. First, there were way too many factors left to basically anonymous people to accurately gauge any of those oils. Second, Harley's are designed to dirty that first oil up in the break in period. It's why you change the oil so soon after you get a new one.
The versys ain't a bad bike. Yammy seriously needs to try the bikes. The versys is so fun. And how stupid of him to compare a versys and a multistrada. They are miles apart in their pricing
What do u expect from a channel that isnt for people that ride bikes😆 Most of the content seem to be aimed towards ppl that are interested in motorcycles but doesnt actually own and/or ride them 🤷♂️
I got mildly triggered by him saying how bad the Versys is.Ive had mine 10 years and done 82000 miles on it and apart from general servicing it's cost me feck all .It all depends what you want a bike for!
Daymm, yeah! I'm surprised Yammy finds the Versys boring. It kills the highway and the twisties, and is pretty good on gravel and fire roads. It's not the best bike out there, for sure, but it's certainly VERY far from being included in the 10-worst list!
The Honda CX500 was the bike of choice for London motorcycle couriers in the late 1980s. Also know as the plastic maggot: I once saw somebody with a clip-on frying pan on the exhaust header pipe cooking an egg. You could keep a second pair of gloves warm behind the cylinders. That's versatility
I loved my GT650R. It was my first step into "big" bikes after passing my test and also my first ever super sports styled bike. Yes it's heavy, yes the build quality isn't up to japanese or European standards but it was a fun and fast (it's all relative remember) bike. The styling was dated but in the white and blue livery I had it wasn't bad at all. For the £3500 I paid for a less than year old model it was also good value. Keep on top of maintenance and you'll be fine until you are ready to step onto something bigger or simply worth more.
I had a 08 versys as my 3rd bike and absolutely no issues with mine, was a great around town bike but I will say it sucked on dirt lol I currently have a triumph street triple rs and I would recommend getting one if your in the market 👍
@@gaganchandra7287 my next bike will be a older 90s klr 250 lol I want one because it was my first bike and it would be a awesome first bike for my kids 👍
Yeah, starting to question Yammies judgement after that one. I could take a "boring" criticism, but on a list of 10 worst motorcycles ever made, it's just ludicrous!
@@christopherdurante3367 i have a kawa er6n as my first bike :D and it allready bores me after 3 months. But i still love riding. And will give it 1-2 year before buying something bigger

I had a Hyosung GT250 as my first bike. It was great, if underpowered. I didn't have any trouble with it. It was a great bike to start riding on. It had a bigger frame than the usual 250 bike. I now have a Yamaha FZ1 Fazer. SOOOOOOOOOO Much fun to ride.
Another channel on RUclips that isn't just some turd saying "I don't like this bike". There's really not much info here, just opinion... and not much self reflection either.
@@miekragez4749 nope! I own a Yamaha R-3. My best friend had a Hyosung Comet and he never complained about it. But about his Ninja it was all problems.
Have had two Honda GL/CXs, never experienced any of the problems described here, but both had timing chain failures due to a design flaw. I'd probably get another one if the opportunity arose. Very comfortable ride.
Loved my CX500, it was my first road bike. Never had any reliability issues or brake problems. You got used to the very minimal the torque wobble after you had ridden it for a day. Also had the opportunity to ride the Turbo months before it was released. Id happily have another one.
Yeah look, I've had no real issues with mine either but the gearbox feels like crap and the whole bike is just designed poorly. i dont mind how it looks but that's about where the good things stop. everything else is mediocre at best.
Back in my youth, I would read all the bike magazine reviews on the bike I was interested in. It took me awhile to realize that you really had to read between the lines because the writers dared not offend their advertisers. A real tightrope walk.

I had a gt650. Reliability sucked, but performance and handling were bad ass, as good as any bike I've ever been on. I got back into riding after a long hiatus, and that bike was so stable I'd lean it till I was scraping
Lol, my first bike was a 2013 Versys 650 in grey. It was a great first bike, but unfortunately a freak accident meant I had to write it off. Ended up getting a V-Strom 650 to replace it, which I'll admit was better. But I wouldn't say the Versys deserves to be in a top 10 worst motorcycle list, bit harsh there Yam
Had a 2001 883 and regeared it for the highway. It still was a jackhammer and the ringing in my head never went away lol. It was a reliable bike though with the evo engine.
Once you learn , this channel is just a lot of hype from an enthusiastic guy with good editing. Doesn't mean it's the gospel, take everything with a grain of salt.
I noticed that Italian bikes were recommended instead of big 4 options in several instances... instead of the reliable, affordable Japanese option with a dealer closer than 1500 miles away.

Benelli TNTs are very unique bikes, they need a lot of care to be well maintained, and very often have the "reliability issue" stigma attached to them due to crappy ownership practices Nonetheless all of the various TNT models have a design that won the test of time and are still today a very, very valid motorcycle choice I implore anyone who has the possibility to try them out, their 3 cylinder engines (expecially the 1130cc variant) are just amazing
They're very beautyfull and a hoot to ride. Did 25.000km in one year on a 1130 Café Racer and another 30.000km on 6 other Benelli's (4x Tre-K, Amazonas and a TnT Sport EVO - all compagny bikes). Loved them all. But had 3 engine changes and some electronical problem. Luckaly I was working for Benelli at the time. If it would have been my money, I would go for een Speed Tripple. As much fun, even better sound and looks good enough.
I bought 2012 Hyosung GT650R for equivalent of 2350$ (Poland strong xD) from my friend. I have full history of riding and service, what was done and what should be done in near future and I really like this bike. That's kinda luxury in my country because looking for decent used bike is like walking on the minefield.
I owned a gt650r 2014 model and I thought it was great, I made a bad mistake trading it for a Harley sportster still regretted it to this day even after selling the Harley.
The Honda CX500 was a very popular despatchers bike in the 80s. Loads running the streets of London. I asked one despatch rider why, and he said they were reliable and inexpensive to run.
It's funny that the DN-01 has similar power and torque to an 883 but is lighter, despite the huge fairing and automatic gearbox. I didn't clock this until you put the two in one video, impressive!
I was the salemanager at BMW shop in Tucson where the R1200C was introduced. I was so happy to get off this bike when the test loop was done. I sold 15 of these in about two months and still feel bad that I sold them.
Own an r1200c. I can take it apart and fix it in a parking lot in 20 mins.....from practice... I literally had to leave it at work just today because it didn't wanna move. Looks good tho.
This video is so unprofessional it is beyond sad. I had a second hand Tnt, and never experienced any problems. The side mounted radiators DON'T interfere in any way with your legs, and free the rider from all the heat. Never had any bike that was so great in summer days. Ducati Monsters can forget the unbelievable torque it had in its days. I also have a 4th (!) hand first gen Versys, that is a hoot for canyon carving. It has a wonderful agility, and an umbelievable rpms range to exploit. Pushing hard real low, and not hitting any wall up the Rev counter. Comparing it to a Multistrada just makes no sense. It's less than half the price. What comparison is that? Very unprofessional video, based on "heard" non-facts, and personal tastes. There are people behind every project, who did their best, within industrial restraints, to create something good. They deserve respect. You can criticize the styling, that's personal taste, but loathing projects on hearsay is far from fair.
The new Royal Enfield Interceptor has just been voted, bike of the year in the UK. Very retro. Brilliant. Well done them. The welds, finishes and paintwork are second to none. At the moment I don't have one, but four of my friends do and they all love them.
Hahaha, I feel attacked. My first bike was a CX500, I currently ride a Versys 650. The CX was interesting, a quirky bike that was extremely reliable and easy to work on, but rode like every other UJM of the era (vague suspension, non-existent brakes, rock solid motor). The Versys would be 1000% better with the MT-07 motor (just for the sound alone, the MT-07 motor and Kawi 650 have virtually identical powerbands), the Kawi 650 is really what makes the bike have no personality, it does handle extremely well, but the motor is completely devoid of personality.
Where do you get that Husqvarna worked on? Local lawnmower shop. No way in hell I’d buy one of those over a Versys. Dad bikes rule! One day you’ll be there Yam. You won’t be 25 forever bro.
I have a 2001 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 'Classic' meaning they hadn't changed it since 1955. Other than being a self-propelled boat anchor, once I finished manufacturing it it became reliable. Fun to ride though.
Kawasaki screwed up by adding efi to their ancient 652cc single for the 2022 KLR. If they had stuffed the versys 650 engine into the KLR chassis instead, it would be an instant best seller.
'Get a 790 instead of a Versys' . . . and you'll not only pay twice as much, you and your credit card will get to know your dealer really well. The Versys will be ripping along the trail while the 790 is waiting for parts to be shipped so it can get home. There's a reason the 790 came and went very very quickly.
I finally made a list! last summer I went 2000km over the Alberta and BC rocky mountains, including the highest paved road in Canada on a 1979 CX500 custom. 6000rpm+ on the highway, and a 10L tank! Million dollar view from a $1000 bike!
Indian Royal Enfield is not bad at all. On the routes of Ukraine and Russia, one can sometimes see specimens that came on their own wheels from India, with sand and clay from the Gobi desert in their cylinder ribs. It's not a joke. As long as you know a little mechanics and know this bike - you can go anywhere.
The only intelligent reaction I've ever read to the Honda CX500 came from Leonard Setright. He explained in depth why it looked the way it did, and why it had pushrods etc. And unlike his contemporary motorcycle reporters he actually tried to ride it in the manner it was likely to be ridden by its target market (Matt Oxley, for example, still can't understand why it didn't go and feel like an RD350LC, which was probably the only bike he's capable of understanding). I have never ridden a CX, but since the clutch and flywheel rotate in the opposite direction to the crankshaft, I'm sceptical about the dreaded torque reaction, especially as since 2007 I have owned only BMW twins, and after more than 650,000Km on them I have never noticed this apparently so terrible fault.
Hi from Ireland, I had a cx500 as a despatch rider it never failed as a workhorse fine, it depends what you want a motorbike for and your personal choice for me it's utility and reliability
You made a great choice! Yams just likes to bash on bikes he knows absolutely nothing about. Every time he mentions how awful it is all us Versys owners just smirk because we know how awesome it is. 😎 His stupidity is our entertainment.
Man, my GT650 has been EXCELLENT. I've put down 20k on it so far. The suspension and brakes are significantly better than the Sv650, but it still has the same engine (nearly all the parts are identical). And I have had virtually no trouble from it.
I had a spit take a couple of months ago, I actually saw a Hyosung 650 at a dealership for sale, and it had 33,000 miles. My friend had one of the 250 cruisers, it was an absolute turd, but I think the big thing that people shied away from was that it wasn't Japanese or American. He took it to a shop and they told him that they didn't know if they could even get parts for it, he was wanting a new chain and sprockets for it lol.
@@jonlorbacher oh I know you can. I can get parts easily for any bike out there. The professional motorcycle shop he took it to couldn’t figure that out since it wasn’t Japanese or American. That’s my point. The reason I never see any are from people like that who aren’t smart enough to run a business or find parts.
"You want a Sportster get a rubber mounted one post 2004" no I completely disagree. You want a Sportster get a 91-03 5 speed hard mounted one. The current Sportsters with injection and rubber have completely lost the character that made the Sportster so enjoyable at reasonable speeds. I've tried several of the current ones and as much as I love the Sportster (and I do dearly, my dad has one since I was twelve, this bike holds a special place in my heart) there's just no thrill anymore to be had. What you're left with is a modern twin a bit dulled especially without stage 1 that handles badly. I'd rather get a Triumph instead given the choice
That versus 650 bit had me so confused at first but God damn that was good, you had my ass cackling lmao. "It has wheels which are attached to axles the front of which has a handlebar with which the rider can alter the directions either left or right..." absolutely brilliant
After watching this...I can't believe how good I have it: Kawasaki KDX 220 for dual sport. Ducati 900 SS for everything and anything. Harley Davidson XR 1200 for smiles, laughs and tears of others. Haha. Good video. Thanks.
I tested the Hyosung 650GT when I worked for a magazine, then bought one to race in our 650 twins class in NZ. They are a little budget, the brakes are very wooden, but they ARE a very good bike at a fairly low price. Would I buy one over a Ninja 650? Nope! Not at the same price anyway. It definitely shouldn't have made this worst bike list. I think I'll change your name to Yammie Knob!
I owned a 1986 883 , but it had a 1100 screaming eagle kit shot gun exhaust. That thing ripped didn't need more gears . Two up about 300 pounds of people on board. It would go 100 miles an hour or more up most steep hills. I road it from Canada to Tijuana and back.
I owned a Honda DN-01 back in 2013. It was actually very nice to ride and the gimmicky "manual" mode was cool at the time. It was very comfortable I have to say. For a commuter bike it's really good. Its just not much of anything else.
I bought a Hyosung GV650, and oddly enough it had people turning their heads when i stopped at lights, in black it looks shiet, its not bad, and its tough as fk. We tried to destroy a GT650 and it just wouldn't give up. It was a nice bike, wasn't uncomfortable, wasn't rough, wasn't hard to fix, wasn't expensive, was cheap on fuel, had good enough torque. It only died after i T-boned a minibus. Otherwise it never gave any issues, ever.

Agree...out of the ninja 250, and my gsx-r 1000... the ninja gets most fun, and graces my avatar! :D
Ur my hero
@Drew Harris that’s still not a real bike lol
Hay a honda grom got me through college, and I always had great parking, my senior year I got an internship and drove the grom 100 miles round trip everyday, from the money I saved in gas and insurance I was able to sell the grom and buy a new cb500 and I added a quick shifter, it is so much fun really makes me want my next bike to be one of Hondas Dct models.
it started all the Japanese brands to reinvest in the smaller cc bikes as well, it sold very well,
I own a Versys 650. Love it. Its faster, and performs better than you ever give it credit for.
I've had 5 and still own a GL650 and never locked the back wheel or suffered from torque reaction .....I don't think he's rode one
I owned the very rare CX500C.....ok stop laughing......I loved it, reliable, comfy and beautiful, oh wait....
They pretty much overhauled the entire company allong with their manufacturing process, allowing them to make bikes with such good quality it actually tops Fortnines Laboratory Test as the Manufacturer with the best assembly line.
for maybe 3k more you could get a z900rs, you could get leftover z900 or mto9 for the same price cmon, if you want an old man bike ill sell you my 1985 v45 for 800$ its runs it needs fixed up
Yeah but yammie is too ignorant to want to see that
The 650 twins are okayish, but common RE makes one of the most unreliable and unrefined bikes.
It doesn’t matter how well made Enfields are until they make something more desirable than a lightly used Kawasaki.

I am so shocked, as a CX500 owner, that he mentioned it. IT'S EFFING AWESOME. I have mine built own and it runs like a beast.
What the hell are you on?
Yeah I had a CX500 as my first bike, the torque wiggle was barely noticeable, that effect is generally more pronounced on Guzzis.
Camchain tensioner was more of a problem on early models CX500A.
I had a CX650 that was beat to hell and full of bad home mechanic fixes. Bought it for $800 and that engine was absolutely wonderful

I was glad because I have a Royal Enfield.
@@tetedur377 If you have a Royal Enfield you don’t need a RUclips channel.
My daily is a klr650. The versys is a lot faster and can handle turns awesome compared to my tractor. For the price it's an amazing bike.
"Don't get a Versys, get a V-Strom". Even though I'm more attracted to the Suzuki, sounds like pretty similar bikes to me
The Honda CX500 was the bike of choice for London motorcycle couriers in the late 1980s. Also know as the plastic maggot: I once saw somebody with a clip-on frying pan on the exhaust header pipe cooking an egg. You could keep a second pair of gloves warm behind the cylinders. That's versatility
I remember in London half of the couriers had cut down 4 pint plastic milk cartons over the handle grips to keep their hands dry in the winter.
I'm so blessed to be ignorant enough to be blissfully happy riding my Royal Enfield Interceptor.

I have a BMW R1250R, never noticed this torque reaction people keep going on about. Had a BMW R100T in the 80s, same, no noticeable torque reaction.
Hi from Ireland, I had a cx500 as a despatch rider it never failed as a workhorse fine, it depends what you want a motorbike for and your personal choice for me it's utility and reliability
damnit, my bike is on the list. I am a tall dude, I bought the Versys because the Ninja was too small for me!!
same dude , same this guys shits on us for no reason im soo offended
You made a great choice! Yams just likes to bash on bikes he knows absolutely nothing about. Every time he mentions how awful it is all us Versys owners just smirk because we know how awesome it is. 😎 His stupidity is our entertainment.
@@Jagknorr nailed it. ...but he's not stupid, just versys-racist
@@TwoAMBlacktop You can definitely get parts. There are a couple great online resources. I just did my chain and sprocket a couple weeks ago
Those people riding the bikes in the background are spoiling this Fantastic Slideshow !!
“Enfield bad already”?
Think they’ve made some quality cost inroads lately. May want to reassess. Or not.
Well - the Honda CB 750 is NOT a cafe racer and the CX 500 was a fuckin GREAT bike!!
I have a feeling that yammie has a RE hate WITHOUT having tried one
He'll just hate them more if he tried them.....
@@dakshsaini3109 have you tried one?
@@sagnikbratamitra9420 I own a Interceptor 650 and a 1998 machismo 350,so I think I have enough experience lol😂😂👌
@@dakshsaini3109 no im asking do you hate ur RE too?
@@sagnikbratamitra9420 the interceptor 650 is a great bike, but other that that and the meteor,I absolutely hate them
6:24 Excuse you? That is the single dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
PLEASE DO A RIDE AND REVIEW OF THE CONTINENTAL GT 650 FFS
YOU DID A WHOLE VIDEO SERIES ON A HARLEYYYY FFS............ AND YOU MADE A VIDEO ON THE VERSYS 650 TOOOOOO.
I owned a Honda DN-01 back in 2013. It was actually very nice to ride and the gimmicky "manual" mode was cool at the time. It was very comfortable I have to say. For a commuter bike it's really good. Its just not much of anything else.
Goes into video not thinking I’m going to get hurt. “Number 10 the Harley Davidson street rod.” Shit..
Hey man Im just happy buell wasn't on the list lol
@@scytheakse true! Lol
same here, my heart sank when he said it lmao
Same as a street 500 owner
He is right about the foot controls though first mod I did was a 12 inch foward control kit install.
I was actually surprised he included such an obscure model as the R1200c
I bought a Hyosung GV650, and oddly enough it had people turning their heads when i stopped at lights, in black it looks shiet, its not bad, and its tough as fk. We tried to destroy a GT650 and it just wouldn't give up. It was a nice bike, wasn't uncomfortable, wasn't rough, wasn't hard to fix, wasn't expensive, was cheap on fuel, had good enough torque. It only died after i T-boned a minibus. Otherwise it never gave any issues, ever.
I found the TNT to be a very Decent looking bike. It's headlight resembled Venom and the exhaust note WAS sweet asf. Seen one in person too, absolute spot on NGL
Dang ! There goes my dream of owning a Hyosung RD250! ACTUALLY NOT SO BAD.
