1:31 I gotta say, while Tomokazu Seki sounds awesome in the anime, this one particular delivery of this line by Sho Hayami it's beyond perfect in my opinion. It's a combination of excitement, gratetfulness and pure love that sounds so right for the context of how Pucci views both Made in Heaven and his love of God.

But Original Pucci VA is just perfect, especially when he says "Made in Heaven" the new one sounds too calm, like it was nothing, older sounds like he should with mix of excitement, gratefulness and Joy for accomplishing his life long task of being the messiah for the new world and exterminating Joestar Bloodline

Its not the voice actors fault, its more of the voice directors fault, if you watched the anime, the new VA absolutely nailed Pucci

In Anime, Tomokazu Seki is feel like that voice was Pucci voice himself

@@coomcharger6105 eoh has the best voice acting compared to the new asbr. I was so disappointed that josuke sounds pretty much the same in asbr as eoh and asb considering the eoh and asb josuke are not updated yet and had a different va, but asbr has 4's actual va and he still doesnt sound right.
I honestly prefer the old voice actor almost all the time, the newer VA sounds much too calm for some of the lines, he sounds quite calm when literally activating MIH lol

@@lol4gaming256 welp in my opinion, the new one sounds boring and lame in the game, but in the anime sounds really good and you can see his effort, but the old one is just perfect, the expresion of emotions in the old VA is exelent, even in asb, when Pucci evolves Made in heaven, sounds even more powerfull with the old VA, yes i'm not saying that the new one is Bad, is kinda nice his way to act emotions exprecions, but in the game is just lame.

Ok so my opinions on the new voice:
In terms of the anime I feel like Pucci was more fitting and crazy which added to the character's overall aura and presence but in ASBR he seems way too calm and it feels like that takes away from the impact that the new voice could've had
Totally. I prefer the old voice, but now apart from that being just personal preference, I think a lot of that comes down to how they recorded the new one. Hell, not even exclusive to Pucci, they seem to water down a LOT of the voices for some reason. It doesn't hardly feel like they put in as much effort as they did the first game, which is truly a shame.

@@mamu_1652 he isn't even speaking in a calming voice when he transforms, the audio isn't balanced between both clips and the newer is much quieter, and u fr think Pucci screams and yells with most of his attacks? even if it was calming. he doesn't do all that fucking yelling in the show when he's fighting, u can argue that it's too calm but it's much more closer to Pucci than the original asb... most of Puccis lines don't consist of yelling, which he is almost exclusively doing in the original... I didn't even play the original, u probably just a nostalgia dude. because everyone ik that hasn't played the original agrees, and everyone like you that has doesn't agree, too wrapped up in nostalgia, ur like those idiots that think halo CE has a better online experience than halo 3 just cuz nostalgia
Old Pucci sounds so good. New Pucci sounds really calm. I think New Pucci was perfect for the anime, not necessarily for the game.

I recognized Pucci's old voice but I knew it wasn't Nakata, so I checked and you made a mistake. He was voiced by Joji Nakata in Eyes of Heaven, in the old version of ASB his seiyuu is Sho Hayami.
So Pucci's voices are
ASB: Sho Hayami (Tokiomi Thosaka)
EOH: Joji Nakata (Kirei Kotomine)
ASBR/anime: Tomokazu Seki (King Gilgamesh)
Truly a heavenly casting.

and also Vanilla Ice
Yeah, Hayami voiced those characters, but the point is that Pucci shares voice actors with the main villains of Fate/Zero (Kinda, Tokiomi was really hyped up but was incredibly lackluster. Kirei and Gilgamesh delivered though), and 2 of those characters are clear Jojo references.
Tomokazu Seki is also the Voice of Yoshimitsu in Tekken games since Tekken 4 and Rob Lucci in One Piece and Panda in Jujutsu Kaisen
I gotta say, while Tomokazu is a better pucci overall, the original mih transformation is better, also Tomokazu's pucci in the game sounds like he didn't get payed enough lol

ASB was made for a console that could be run on 480p TVs with AV cable. The ASBR is a game that is made to run on bigger 4K TVs, so don't need to be that big

@@STORM-MASTER it is 720p but the game can run at 480p as well for people that didn't use hdmi cable (or maybe I'm talking something that I don't know, since my 7th gen knowledge was based on 360 that came with a AV cable for 480p TVs in the place of a hdmi cable. For example, GTA V on 360 with AV cable make the cellphone looks big on the screen)

The only thing I dislike about the new voice is that I cannot unhear Gilgamesh. It's extremely noticeable whenever Pucci yells.

I understand the logic used by the dev team in casting Haiyami Sho originally, as Pucci is the final villain, but the sheer intensity Haiyami brings to his roles is more suited for regal, noble characters with an undisputed genius (e.g. Sousuke Aizen), qualities Pucci doesn't share in.
