I just got this wheel and the gt dd pro and coming from a g29 the difference is night and day. The gt dd pro is buttery smooth and even for entry level wheel rims this one and the gran turismo 7 rim feel great. The only negative for me is how the shifters seem to echo through the gt3 wheel but I wear headphones so I hardly notice it now
@@melviiiiin94 yes but none of the rotary knobs or the up/down toggles work on any game I've tried ie. Gt sport, gt7, acc or f1 2018 but I plan to eventually transition to pc racing
Hi. Given that some of the rotary/buttons don't seem to work for PS games, would you still recommend this wheel for a GT DD Pro wheelbase? Would this limit the driving experience? I am not sure of the standard GT driving wheel that's part of the bundle and hence considering this wheel instead. Is it possible to use this wheel for other racing types (not worried about rally or drifting) beyond GT3
If the rotary doesn't work how do you change mfd in game (radar, map, fuel consumption, etc) ? I guess you do that with the funky switch on the bottom left ?
You can map the little red toggles. Left one for mfd menus and right one for brake bias/fuel/radar up down. Also you can use the bottom paddles for looking left and right.

@@Fundando nope, GTS only. AC and ACC are great on PC, but not on playstation 🤷🏻♂️ I have F1 Esports and Clubsport UH with OMP 300mm wheel, both with magnetic shifters, so next wheel need to be full functional on GT7 😁
I am considering this too. Before it was either go the bundle with Gran turismo wheel (honestly i don’t like) but if the functions are not worth it on Mclaren, then it becomes a better choice to go for playstation wheel. But then I’d have to make another purchase for the boost kit.
@@mercuriallimit nope, it's not working. My advice, go with F1 Esports V2 wheel, you can put MDF controls on right joystick, wheel have metal quick release, magnetic shifters...
