Hey man. Been watching loads of videos about how to get my arrma kraton 6s v4 to go straight. I have been going through hell. You're video is the only one that actually expects anything professionally. Good job . I have tried endless things to get proper steering as / beast servo / new rods / horns / rods /radios / ext... nothing works i always have the car lop off after a few meters and I just feel like throwing this pos out the 26th floor.
Wish i had seen this before getting into this myself,, as had to learn hands on mostly and with pidgeon English Chinese instructions!! very well explained for first time buyers!
@6:34 a mention here, increasing the lenght of the servo horn, or picking a hole that's further away from the center, will reduce the effective torque of the servo. The opposite is also true.
What does it mean when the throw travels to 100% in one direction when the controller is turned 25% and 100% in the other when the controller is turned to 100%? In other words, I am at full right when barely turning the controller right, but this is not that case when turning left.
Thank you for your video, I’m impressed at your knowledge of RC steering. I am building a “Chicken Car” to carry my chickens when I go for my daily walk. It has two independent motors from a powered wheelchair and two large 12VDC deep cycle batteries. The car is quite heavy at about 80 pounds and I like your input as to how I can steer it please.
Great video, I have the DX for our pro Radio, I haven't really used it because I don't quite understand Setting all the points on it your radio is the first video to show anything about adjusting the radio I appreciate you sharing this video, I don't understand the dual rate steering I'd would watch more videos on how to adjust this radio
Hi can you tell me what torque should i have on a 1/10 scale please as i have a ton of heng long mad truck (piece of crap ) especially when my son drives it . He Is Autistic but im trying to get him into r /c hobby car! Also can you can you please give me ideas on plastic welding on the plastics?any reply appreciated
Hi again i have subbed can you retrofit a servo saver onto any servo as my son has broken 3 servos in the mad truck? Maybe I should get a metal gear servo ?thanks for the video 😊any reply appreciated and gday from Australia!
Got a RGT rock cruiser for my first scale crawler. Have to replace the servo on it. All it does is make a buzzing sound (about like a spinning gear inside) with no steering at all.
Great video learning a lot as I am new as they come. I just finished my first build. When I turn the power on the wheels turn sharply to the right and stay there, steering wheel on the transmitter is non responsive. Any ideas what I messed up?
Nice video. It would be nice if you could tell us the brand and model of the car you have in front of you. some of them look interesting and it would be good to be able to check them out further.

my steering servo changes as it warms up ( needs left trim after 7-8 minutes use) is this a problem with the servo?? Losi mini 8ight buggy

Mine was not turning correctly so I took it apart a found that the tire motor was worn out

Well I know the last one was a losi by the receiver and from looking at it it looks like a tenacity 10th scale

Yes it is fine I was running 2s lipo's on the xl-5 brushed system and never had a problem

Yes buy a good servo like a savox I have an all metal gearing servo from DS and it is super responsive.
