This is truly one heck of a gorgeous plane they don't get much better than this , take your time and choose best place and time for the maiden you want to be 100% confident and you will be fine my only suggestion would be fly fast and get a feel for it with wings extended before you close them and make sure you have plenty of speed regained after the turns before closing them , you will be buzzing on this day and i salute you and capt.Blaz you make RC Flying so much more fun for this Thanks

Concerning the CG the B1 you could build a battery tray that slides backward and forward and put it on a servo that way when your wings sweep, the battery will shift forward slightly to compensate

Thanks to Petrincic Bros for this information.. A complex piece of machinery, this, I mean when you compare with most. Its great that people can see the possible problems BEFORE going to the runway.. Big Salute from Mt Pleasant Mich! The Brothers always lift spirits! Lots of rain here too. Finally got rid of our moles but don’t have a magic carpet yet. The belly pop could be laser designator or TARPS. (Tactical air reconnaissance pod). Curious to see flight characteristics.

Hey Pilot Robert and Captain Blaz. Just wanted to let you know you two legends are getting plenty of views in our household. Even my wife is saying "Dis is it". She still won't let me push the button though so wot da hell hey! So this morning it is fathers day and my daughter made me a home made card with Pilot Robert holding a Pitts Special on the front. It bought a tear to my eye. I've got the shirt and love seeing all the new videos and catching up with the old ones. You two blokes are the best most authentic people on RUclips and I always have a laugh along with you. If I ever get to Slovenia I will be looking out for the low flying aircraft!!! This is another level boys , I watch these flying in to raf Fairford many times , they come close to my house its absolutely breathtaking to hear the noise and their beauty. Pilot Robert I know this maiden will be big pressure for you , because I know this model must be very expensive, I pray everything goes well , I think this flight will take you boys to another level ...I'm super excited excited

Beautiful plane! Just be aware that my F-14 was not controllable when wings were swept because ailerons become ineffective. I actually went to elevons so I could fly it at full sweep and it was a joy to fly in either configuration. I look forward to seeing you fly this beast. Good luck pilot Robert! Listen to Blaz, he is always right!

Amazing plane and very good overall quality. Good luck for the maiden. I have sucessfully flown mine two times now. Now I am ready to sweep the wings next flight. Quick tip: check all the e-clips if they are sitting correctly. I lost one at the front gear. Replaced it sucessfully. I will now also secure all e-clips with loctite.
Did you fly it with gyro ?
@@PetrincicBrosRC I did the bypass option like in the bananahobby bypass video. I have full control over elevator, aileron and rudder. I can trim whenever I want and I also programmed dual rates although it seems that the higher rates are working fine and low rates are not needed.
@@fnrc5866 So you dont use gyro?
@@PetrincicBrosRC No without gyro. Once you have trimmed the plane right it flies like a trainer. No need for a gyro in my opinion. I am going to tell you my experience with sweeping the wings after I have tried it this weekend.
What a beautiful bird! I’ve seen the real thing fly many times, but to see this RC version fly will be something special. To be honest I’d be scared to even try flying it myself. Here’s to a successful maiden flight. Can’t wait!👍🏻

That something hanging off the right side of the aircraft is a targeting pod or "SNIPER" pod. It has lots of cool things going on that helps the bomber drop ordinance very precisely...😁👍

Iam really scared now becouse of all the talk about gyro not working good for elevator.
@@PetrincicBrosRC it is really simple to do the bypass. It really doesn't need a gyro, I flew quite a few times without I turned on the AS3X now and it feels more locked in though. But you know you can just turn it off for the maiden.

What a beautiful model of a beautiful jet. Love the auto flap raising upon wing sweep, but one question, do the flaps auto rise if set to maximum? IE landing flaps poison? Just in case you have landing flaps down, forget or knock the switch by mistake and sweep the wings?
