    Very good review and Thanks for your set up info, My question is for your 10mm up elevator on the wing sweep mix what percentage is on your NX10? I know it may be different for everybody however only by + or-2%. Thanks for this Video BD

      Thanks BD, Mine will be close to the same. However I use a lighter 5300 SMC pack and have the RC Geek Afterburner kit in it so I had to move the battery most the way forward to get neutral CQ@@BDTennesseeI plan on buying the 6200 SMC packs at a later date when on sale if possible

    BD, I'm setting up my plane but cannot get the elevator to slowly move with the wing sweep like you did. I'm using a Spektrum NX-8 radio and the same receiver that you have. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. It's almost ready to maiden and could fly with the wings out, which I will likely do the first few flights anyway. But really would like to have it programmed and ready for the sweep as well. I've been in contact with HH, but haven't had much luck yet.

      Check out the iX14 video about Flight modes for wing sweep aircraft. Setup is same with NX.

    Hey BD help me out I would be grateful if you can just tell me on your spektrum trans what do you have on flaps up set at mid flaps and down flaps at I dont want mm I know that I want to know what yours is on the trans set at. also on rates what are your high/mid/low set at on your transmitter all the numbers. back to the flaps what are your elevator settings for flaps up flaps mid flaps down I would like the actual numbers you set in the transmitter. I dont mm like you posted MM. If you can tell me that I would be gratefully thankful thanks again Joe.

    How do you get the elevator movement slow in your flight mode for wing sweep.

    • @BDTennessee
      @BDTennessee  10 месяцев назад

      Assign switch in flight mode for wing sweep.Setup on a separate flight mode. Set switch for flaps to flight mode in flap system screen.

    • @cliffdavis3247
      @cliffdavis3247 9 месяцев назад +1

      but wouldn't that slow down the deploy for all flap/elevator settings? I might be wrong, but I thought that speed setting applied globally to all flap/elevator settings@@BDTennessee

    So mine has arrived and all is setup except CG and Flaps. I'm using the stock gyro setup.
    It seems that you are using the exact CG recommended in the instructions. Do I have that correct?
    On the Banana Hobby video, on the stock setup, they mention to not set the flaps to far down, as it will cause interference with the ailerons. They recommend 10mm max measured at the flap rear edge, inboard, down from the wing fairing. Exactly where are you measuring the flap throw? It seems that you are using more than the BH video. I'm asking this, as our field has a landscape fabric runway, 300 ft long and I want to have a short of a takeoff run as possible. I do fly the Freewing AL37 and the B1 Bomber from that same runway.
    Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
    Phil

      Book says 48mm and im using 88-90mm. Half Flaps is 10mm / 5mm Up Elevator and Full Flaps is 25mm / 9mm Up Elevator.I didnt have aileron authority issues with flaps. Full setup details with these included is in description. Runway in video is 330 foot. When i touchdown in correct spot at first of runway it will dead stop by 3/4 of the total runway. Extra flap is slowing me down and i have control.
