    I've really been enjoying flying mine. It's become one of my favorites in the hangar. It's super stable and not stressful at all to fly! I programed flapperons mine to get her to slow down for how I like it on the landing. Also I fly mine off grass and it does just fine. Nice flying brother!! 🫡🫡

      Agree easy and stress free flyer. Flaperons were setup but took a fair amount of elevator authority away.I had several flights where i dead stopped on runway without them.However I was giving plane back to my friend that day so went with this flight :D

    B D I just wanted to say I really appreciate you taking the time to do all your how to videos on the NX. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be as proficient as I am now. Thanks man. Great vids.

    Nice review. I have mine setup with flaperons and info on setting is in the manual if you have a spare channel, also has reverse thrust which isn't in the manual, so you should be able to get it slowed down and stopped before u run out of runway.

      I had several flights where i dead stopped on runway without flpaerons.However I was giving plane back to my friend that day so went with this flight :D Thanks for info on reverse thrust.Ill tell him so if he gets more channel on receiver...

      Did you need to program the ESC to assign reverse thrust to a channel?

    • @ltfadl1
      @ltfadl1 11 месяцев назад

      @@RedZone54 no, there's a separate yellow wire that's on the ESC, you'll need to pull back the covers for the wires almost to the battery compartment to expose it, but it's a 4th wire coming from the ESC harness. You can plug into any channel and program your Tx. My ESC was already programmed for reverse thrust to be active this info also is in the manual under SMR on page 15.

    Nice flying and review. The T-7A is an advanced trainer. It's more like an F/A-18 than a T-33. The wing is way back near the horizontal stab and the gear is narrow. I haven't flown one yet, but it looks to me like it wouldn't be a good 1st or 2nd jet. I like that it's an 80mm and the price isn't too bad right now, but I don't have room for one right now..

      Agree it feels like a F18 flying. I dont think 1st or second either too.

    Nice review BD. Seems like a solid plane, but maybe not the best all around 80mm. Looks like a fast and locked in flyer, but just didn't have that great power that some of the other 80s have...

      Solid flyer for sure. Could use more power i think too...

    If I remember correctly, you can lift the small white cover under the canopy to expose a pre-wired esc reverse signal wire. I believe that it is yellow.

    Hi, I am doing a turbine conversion on this jet using a K30. Your Cg is around 15-20mm behind the factory setting, which seems a lot. Does this seem OK for you, as it looks great in the air, not tail heavy at all. Thanks!

    Nice flying BD. Question on the gain for the AS3X. What are you actual setup numbers in forward programming? I see you listed high an low? Also, are you using Safe? If so what is your gain on Safe if yu are?

    • @BDTennessee
      @BDTennessee  9 месяцев назад

      High and Low in description is the actual gain numbers. I dont use Safe but i would use the Low values...

    • @Flight6677
      @Flight6677 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@BDTennessee so in the AS3X gyro menu under forward programming, instead of default 40, 50, 60 you have 66, 84 and 80? I guess what I am asking is you set your gains to low rate and high rate? I don't understand your terminology with High and Low. Thanks.

      @@Flight6677 correct on values. High and low is to label 2 settings. Only want to use one setting go with Low...
