Hey BD I just bought the AVANTI V2 based on recommendations from guys at my field who fly alot of edf and turbines. Yesterday I was out and flying my VIPER VS bnf with a ar631 flew great on the maiden and on the second flight coming across the field it lost signal and the plane just kept going head on into the trees and you know the rest. No idea on why or what but now its in my sanford and son parts department..lol every guy at the field that flies edf go bigger 80 to 90mm bc they fly better and easier and that maybe true but there was a failure on my receiver and that idk why. But I have the AVANTI V2 coming and look fwd to flying it. Thanks for sharing👍👍👍👍👍

is there a way to have safe come on when the flap switch is clicked - and then safe off when the flaps are up? so basically just using safe for takeoff and landings on the same flap switch?

Great video, but is this way correct for DX7S even if I have only one channel for ailerons ? (the two servos are connected in parallel). Greetings from Italy.

The Freewing appears to have larger wheels than the FMS. Would the Freewing tolerate rougher grass than the FMS?

Hi, I value your tutorials on Spektrum transmitters. I have an NX8 and with the new software update from 07.18.24 there is a new menu called "hand launch assist" in the forward programming gyro utilities. I would love for you to provide a tutorial on how this works and assigning to a switch on the radio. Best. Brent

When I go to the “more” section to turn off scroll sound it is a stick calibration page? Nothing about sounds at all. Any pointers? Maybe the OS is updated.

Your Spectrum Videos are the best on the net. Informative, accurate, and precise. Just been trying to find tutorials on the new nose wheel gyro feature and launch assist offered in the new as3x+ and the ones out there are complete and utter rubbish... Any chance you might fill the gap???? PLEASE!!!!

Another great video of what I thought was a cursed plane. I had one of these and after a couple of years of repairing the nose gear I sold it. I wish I'd seen your videos first. Dialing in that CG and tuning the elevator mix seems to have it landing really nicely without a huge amount of bouncing. I might just buy myself another one!

Thank you - I was going nuts.

I was using DX8 transmitter and it was ok now I shifted to NX10 transmitter, I have now problem with response of the sticks to commands as there is a delay in execution of commands which was not noticed in DX8 TRANSMITTER

Hi, I am doing a turbine conversion on this jet using a K30. Your Cg is around 15-20mm behind the factory setting, which seems a lot. Does this seem OK for you, as it looks great in the air, not tail heavy at all. Thanks!

I went from 20se, (5 yr old $2K tx), to tx16s max2 with aluminum gimbals, to ix14. Everything I remembered from the 20 is gone. I'm the only 1 we fly with that can setup, maiden, & test others planes with the ppl I fly with. So now I'm back 50% with spektrum cause I love my tx16s! Heck, can't take it with ya🤷‍♂️🤯!

Even those these are older videos they are still very helpful!!! Question, I am looking to set up the sound for reverse thrust, or something close to that…..I’ve gone back and forth on the list….is it not there???

When I click on next, I don’t get extra settings. I get the option to calibrate my sticks….

So how would you stop the nose gear from steering while the nose gear is retracted. Say you have pull pull steering and don't want the servo working while the gear is retracted.

I just tell you now a problem is with mine is that when I take the hex off mine when I take my tire off the heck supposed to stay on a little bit even when I tighten it should I use thread lock to tighten it or should I get a new one cuz I use the new hex on it too and it wouldn't tighten down

Excellent presentation. I Hit the subscribe button, because, I know a pro when I see one. I haven't tried grass ops with mine yet. Was really nice to see it operating off of grass in case i ever had to. Not that I could put it down as nice as that , but I think it would survive. My landings are a little more like "hope this works." 😅

I just bought another AR 8020T receiver and 9747 remote, installed in my new plane and noticed the B readout empty after my flight. The A readout ws 24 F and no Holds. I went to rebind and found pushing the Bind button on the remote had no effect on the main reciever, no flashing light. I have not seen this before. Any ideas?
