Dude. You’re awesome. Just received my Tx16s this week and your videos are a lifesaver

I have a TX16S on Edgetx. I have set my flaps up on switch B as above to go from 0% to 40% to 60%. When I move SB from SB down to SB middle the flaps jump from 60% to zero and then back to 40%. Going from 40% to 60% this doesn't happen. Any ideas pls?

Gret flying, and nice, beautiful scale flying. I'm curious as for visibility, do you think this "Ghost Grey" scheme is more visible, or easier to track in the sky than the CAM, or the SEA paint scheme?

Great tutorial, could you please consider doing a tutorial on how to setup gear door sequencer? Along the lines of, when you select gear down the gear door openes then 2 seconds later the gear comes down. Gear up makes gear go up then gear door closes. Thank you for you videos Best reagards Matt

Very nice, and in this J-10 my mental cart. Question, might be strange comp, but would you say this J-10 handles as good or better than my beloved Freewing F-14 Tomcat 64mm? I realize is a little different in size, but the F-14 twin is pulling 120A.

Thanks for this tutorial. The only issue I had was that after I backed out of the firmware flash, my radio reboot got stuck at the opening EgdeTx welcome screen. I waited a couple minutes to see if there was more going on in the background and ended up reseating the battery to force a shutdown. and rebooted. The multi flash worked fine after that. We've come a looooong way from my old 27MHz crystal radio.

Great video. Im transferibg my planes to the tx16s. A few have flaps. How do you out down elevator mixed in? Also landing gear would be good too then you covered the basics. I just managed the sort out tye ar630 thabks to all tye helpful peiple online. Great community for this TX.

Why would each individual flap have to have a channel? cant the ailerons the on 2 channels and the flaps on 1?

thank you for the video. but when we do that it erase all model setup? and if so, can we just make a backup of all the model and setup and after upgrade the remote, just copy back to sdcard remote the model??

Hey BD, what's up? So the spare servo lead that's in the back by fan unit goes all the way to the front, so at the receiver, what does that lead say on label? Lights? Because I've seen one by the receiver not connected anywhere that says lights on it. Is that the one you connect to 6th channel port after you connect bec from the 6th port to bind port?

I have an NX8+. I bound to a Sportx 1.1 and downloaded their on board setup. It put elevator, aileron and rudder modes on separate switches. I moved them all to switch F. I ended up with double sounds for this switch. Is the there a way to delete one of the sound sets other than setting to <silence> which I did. I also set switch B audio and then discovered flight mode had an audio so I have double audio when I moved switch B. Again I set audio to <silence> but could have turned off the fight mode audio. I ended up with eight switch setups (three are <silence>) but the “add switch” option is not there.

Change the motor out it has a 340KV motor stock, swap it out for the one from the Spitfire which is 390 KV and install a 100amp esc. This will bring it to life give it great power and speed. How do I make my NX 8 , controller have father distance when you fly so you don’t lose reception

Most planes need a flap>elevator mix to make them fly at the proper airspeed/attitude on final. I know you can add an elevator mix for the takeoff and landing positions using the flap switch (SB). But how would you set up separate aileron and elevator trims for each position of the flaps like Spektrum's F-mode trim?

Brandon, always love watching your flight videos and learn allot from them for my own edification and application. I just built the Freewing 80mm F-14 and getting ready to maiden. I'm flying without any modifications initially. Can you provide me with your suggestion for a flap to elevator mix that I can incorporate into my NX8 transmitter would be greatly appreciated. The RC Geek has his recommendations however, he's using full flaps including ailerons and feel would be too much up-elevator mix landing with the stock flaps. Please advise, thank you!

Once the operator changes the settings from the default (5 Common) to F Mode in TRIM SETUP, doesn't that hinder or eliminate the ability to trim the model when the flaps are retracted (up) or in a flight mode where flaps aren't being used? I use a 3 pos switch for FM 1 (OFF), FM 2 (AS3X+), & FM 3 (AS3X+ @ SAFE). If I assign a different switch to operate flaps and reset the trim default to F Mode, if I'm in FM 3 without the use of flaps, won't that eliminate the ability to use normal transmitter trims? Help me understand what I'm confused about. Thanks 🤪

A suggestion, make a video showing how to configure the transmitter where the rudder and the nose-wheel are controlled with the same servo. Perhaps it's not possible unless the rudder is on a separate servo from the nose-wheel? I prefer not to have to rebuild the electronics in airplanes that use the same servo for both functions. I'm surprised someone else hasn't come up with the same question. I've never build a model airplane with separate servos. Thanks.😁

My NX8+ doesn't have a "Spoken Flight Mode" option. Is this a new thing? Was it recently eliminated? Hmmm

I am sorry to say that with EdgeTX version 2.10.5 this method is not available. I found that setting the Weight from 100% to negative 100% achieved the required result. The Hi, Medium, and Low rates still worked as expected. To be honest I have found the Radio Master TX6S with EdgeTX a very steep learning curve even though I am very proficient with OpenTX (over a decade of use)

Hey Mr BD, I have a question, so I just got the same F16 80mm. I will use an HRV 6s 6000 battery. How far back should I put it to get the cg, correct? And also, how hard will it be to fly it without any As3x safe select or Gyro? Just plain n simple by the seat of my thumbs.

Only Horizon can take a simple setting like rates and expo and make it so complicated that videos are required to explain it. Way to go Horizon.

The manufacturer of my (Heron) glider recommends the following settings: Ailerons up 24mm, down 12mm and flaps +2mm /- 2mm Can you make a mix of these on the NX8+?
