Dude, good save. I've had this plane. I now have the red star one with thrust vectoring and the upgraded motors and fan. When you fly either one especially with flaps down make your turns very shallow, she WILL stall on you and I saw it happening before it happened in just how you were turning it. I know the space you have at KCRC. Start your approach further out and then flaps with about 1/4 throttle and right before touchdown cut throttle. On CG I am about 15 behind book and she flies real good. As you know I fly off of grass so I don't use flaps. Other than that awesome plane. Just keep the speed up on turns or it will drop the wing. BTW on my A10 I ended up 94 for the CG. Awesome flight bud and amazing save.
I over trimmed being hard to see from the sun glare and radio beeps for trim to hear because of a heavy equipment 20 feet behind. (Listen to video and you can hear the beeping of it backing up haha) 2nd flight i greased! Long time pilot at field said "Approach and landing was Spectacular" Glad you got CG worked out on A-10. Aaron said you been flying it really good lately :)
Nice save for sure, I did the same thing on landing an went in hard no saving it with stock motors your lucky you had those upgrade motors in it ,, I bought another one put FMS motors in now no problem I have over a hundred flights on it ,,, keep up your speed on the banking to final an you will be fine
Great save 😅you stayed ahead of it and moved quick on the sticks! Had something similar happen on a maiden of the FW F18 lucky saved too, go a bit to slow on final.
Nice save. Been there done that with my B1 on final. Full power and get that damn nose Down! Always look forward to your very informative reviews. Keep up the good work! I just got the HK 1875 mm B17. Love the sound of those four engines and a little more relaxing than my jets. :)
@@BDTennessee seems a waste to me .That to get a plane to be correct you have to change out powee system .Just like eurofighter flys horrible unless u add 4oz of lead to tail .Seems these companies aren't doung due diligence.Anyway always enjoy your videos you have a good day .
Do you put the transmitter's flight modes on the flap switch and enable F-mode trim so that you have separate aileron and elevator trim in each position of the flaps? I like being able to trim my planes for a safe glide speed on approach in the takeoff and landing positions of the flaps. Once I figure out where the elevator needs to be, I transfer the values to the flap system elevator mix and zero the trims.
Yes i trim elevator separate with flaps. Also do a similar transfer to flap menu. Hey BD, after all the EDF jets that you have flown until now, i wanted to ask your opinion on your top 3 EDF jets to get into EDF jets ? I would be thinking about jets that have at least an 80mm or 90mm EDF, a good size with regards to visibility and a wide flight enveloppe with the least tendancy for stalls. I think the Freewing MIG-29 will probably not be in that top 3 because also at our club a very experienced pilot crashed that one. My first ideas would be the Freewing F-22 and the Eflite Viper 90 but would be very interested in your opinion on the matter. Thanks in advance :-)

Sorry to hear about your mig. I agree those 2150kv powered out of it!

Spot on and narrative! Sorry to hear about F-18 :( F-18 is tricky jet for sure...
Almost a first crash of the year😮
Nice save and maiden BD👊
Im thinking of doing my Aerofoam T-45 Lonestar maiden here when i get it finished.
Thanks bro!
Sounds like a plan to me! Let me know :)
This would be a great 1st plane right? Kidding 😉, great vid and nice save!
I thought it was gone haha! Thanks bro!

Thanks bro! Cat-like reflex :D

100% fact!
Nice
Thanks Jackson!
Good review good flight

@@charlesrestivo870 so to clarify, this bird doesnt need a upgraded power system. Thanks for the support!
@@BDTennessee I'm your video you made mention of changing out edfs if I'm wrong sorry
@@charlesrestivo870 changed out cause my friend had extra set :)

Curious about the new EDF setup. im still running mine on the the 9B fans.
More speed and thrust without sacrificing flight time.
Did you retune the high as3x gains afterwards? Have you got some numbers for me .. very nice vid and save pweww
