I am a RC hobbist for 20 years and this year I learned to fly EDF with the hardest way: a Freewing underpowered F86 Sabre, and with handlaunch! I took months to keep it in the sky, but today I can fly it! Now, after reading a lot on RCGroups EDF forum, I decided: my next step is to buy these Flyfans L39 Baltic Bee, I love this jet! Thanks for the review!
Pretty amazing for a 64mm. Flyfans stepped it up, because the K-8 which was last years 64mm 6S did not perform near as well, and its smaller I think. The K-8 actually had 4S and 6S options, and I got both, and they were both right around 100mph planes.
Fun as always and even a bit more! Before the end I was thinking at least you did a hard test on the landing gear. But Jeff did it. That bird feels heavy on that really big packs but she or better you (pilots) keep her under control! With that landing gear and a lighter 2200 or 3300 pack it would be a good learning jet for me :D Have a good week!!
I just got mine , Green camo. Put a 7 channel Lemon 🍋 Gen 2 in it . Waiting to Maiden on a 3600 SMC 6s . 😊 might grab a couple of HRB Red labels in the 4,000 + range for this and my FMS Viper 70.
@@RCPlaneReviewer Maidened mine yesterday. Not sure when I've had one fly that nicely right out of the box! Didn't have to add/change trim at all. Love it! My only comment on the build, is they labeled all the servo leads in Chinese on one side, and hard to spot numbers on the other that presumably correlate to intended channels. But they were not numbered in standard channel order. That was odd.

Not just does this have amazing speed but the landing gear is absolutely aircraft carrier certified!!!
