- XFly Model is excited to bring the F-14 Tomcat, one of the most iconic jets in history, to market in a twin 40mm EDF size. Featuring functional variable-sweep wings, full-flying stabilizers and a livery based on the Jolly Rogers F-14’s, the XFly F-14 is designed for RC enthusiasts seeking an authentic and engaging flying experience.
With the combination of low wing loading and full-flying stabs, powered by two 1413-KV5500 motors, two 12-blade 40mm fans and two 20A ESCs, the F-14 has plenty of power to perform fast climbs and loops whether the wings are extended or retracted. With popular 4S 1300-2200mAh batteries, this factory-installed twin power system setup is capable of providing a wide range in performance and flight times of around 3-6 mins. High-torque efficient servos deliver crisp and precise control to the variable-sweep wings, making the sweep wing transition accurate and smooth.
The XFly F-14 comes with fixed landing gear with steerable nose wheel to taxi, take off and land on smooth surfaces. Assembly is a breeze with no glue required, making this jet a hassle-free addition to your collection.

Xfly yall gonna make me go broke!! Keep up the good work
Well somebody let the cat out!! Good stuff X-fly!!
gotta love it!
Fantastic - when will it be available in the UK and also can it handlaunch without the landing gear ?
I’ve just ordered from Ali xspress martyn arrive December 8th I think it’s horizon hobby one just been played around with by xfly this one has alerons where I think the hh version has rudder for steering I might be wrong but I’m sure because of wing sweep they didn’t have alerons
I just looked the hh one doesn’t have alerons bud
@gazza4230 it's not the same jet, Xfly makes there own stuff
It's also bigger as well
Yes you can fly it without landing gear, you can pre order from RC Castle
@ yeah I see that now I can’t wait to get it lol now xfly are definitely on the ball with their planes I have quite a few big and small ones
please and i mean please make a twin 40mm f-4 / yf23. i NEED ONE!! but besides that great work xfly!
Twin 64-70mm SU 57 please!
I have a few xfly rc plane and jets, The Twin Otter, J65 passenger jet , twin 40min edf wing, the Su 27 twin 50mm.edf jet and the alpha jet, looking to add a few more xfly models to my hangar soon 3:13 3:13
I don't get it. Why so small? A gust over 8 mph and flying it is no longer fun 😂
Because convenience..and can fly in more places since not a lot of dedicated RC airfield or large space nowdays due to development and urbanization…plus smaller space dont really have strong wind too.. ✌️
This xfly f14 is better than the eflite f14 with their micro servo’s and taileron control
Great flying have all of them dont buy it if u dont like it your loss
These micro models are false efficiency as you still need a club to fly them at.
Xfly your model is better than the one from eflite but people flying from grass are going to need a 70mm F14
Isn't this a copy cat of elite. They just released this earlier this year
much better than elite..
That f14 came out 2 years ago, and only had tailerons… this looks like a completely different animal
@@lewiemotorsports3616 so they use the same mold add ailerons . That makes it a different animal
@ do you own any xfly twin 40s? Not to rag on eflite, I own most of their micros. But the xfly edfs are way stronger than eflites. More power means more speed/usually more maneuvering, which to me,=different animal.
@ I hear what you’re saying. But comparing a micro to a full size should be a different animal. I do own the twin 40mm f18 xfly. They used a mold that really for a 64mm edf. So the power to weight ratio is way off. As for the f14. I think this is going to be a better apples to apples comparison. Since it’s a true 40mm frame they are copying. However the kv on the eflite is much higher than the xfly. So I’m curious how that looks and feels when flying the xfly compared to the eflite. I do like how they added ailerons
