If the radio you have will allow it, you need to set it up that flaps cannot be activated while wings are swept back. That way the flaps can’t foul against the top of the engine nacelle.

The controller prevents the flaps from being extended when the wings are being swept.

Hi. You mentioned that a receiver battery would cause the control board issues. What kind of issues?

Pretty cool the beacons are in the right place but too bad it doesn’t have the Slats like a real B-1

Please Jeremy can you tell us what are your rates for all surfaces when you bypass the gyro ? thanks !

I really need to know how can the gyro direction be changed for rudder an steering ? Yes the servos can be reversed from the transmitter BUT not the gyro direction . Please help

The gyro is set for stock servos. If using other than stock servos you will need to replace with the correct direction servos. Please contact customer service for assistance if needed vs youtube comments, as you may not get the help you need

Once again I'll ask. How do you set up the reverse thrust???!!!

The book shows the flap control rods going into the third hole of the servo , you went into the first hole. Which is correct? Page 8 in the manual. Thx

Hi Jeremy. What battery size are you using. I’m using a Admiral 6S 5000ma and after a 3 1/2 min flight the battery gets very warm and only have less than 20% left. What have you experienced with your batteries. Thanks. Mike D

I would personally prefer to set these models up on iNav flight controllers.

Does the nose steering turn off when retracted? I'm considering separating my nose steer from the integated controller and plugging it into its own rx channel just so it may be trimmed separate from rudder and enabled only when gear is down

It is stopped when using the internal controller when the gear is retracted.

Please explain why there is such a large difference between the CG shown in the manual and the CG you recommend for the model. Thanks.

CG given in manual is a starting point, but final CG position is pilot preference. Some pilots enjoy the snappy handling and agility of an aft CG, while others enjoy relative stability of a fore CG. I have owned many models that flew like garbage with factory CG (Dynams are notorious for being incredibly tail-heavy at book value, while Freewings are known for being nose-heavy at book value).

Thank you for your reply. I am just a bit concerned about having a safe maiden flight on a very expensive model and do not want any pitch problems because of CG issues. Hopefully the gyro system in this B1B will compensate adequately and make the necessary adjustments. Apparently it has a wide CG range and, in my opinion, this should be discussed more thoroughly in the manual. Having spent 50 years and thousands of hours flying general aviation aircraft from J-3 Cubs to a Learjet 35, I have most often found that a center range CG, or sometimes slightly aft CG, results in the most favorable flight characteristics for most aircraft. Like you, I have found, unfortunately, that a lot of model manuals are woefully inaccurate in designating a proper CG for a given model. Thanks again for your input. @@jaredarrington7142

Later in video you say not to use the trims on your controller to trim out in flight. How do you trim if it is rolling in flight.

  • @MarkRenn

This is crazy, but necessary, I guess. The model uses ailerons instead of the prototypical tailerons.
