A90 owner in Texas here. You hit the nail on the head sir. When you're behind the wheel, things change completely. Pictures/videos do it little justice. Keep up the good work.
I got my 3.0 Premium in Turbulence Gray a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. The transmission is amazing. It is very quick as well. I’ve never seen so many heads turn and the thumbs up are daily.
love the beautiful, timeless design of this new Supra (and the previous), ever since the FT-1 concept (which was also in the very nice metallic dark grey), especially seeing it in person years ago at the Chicago Auto Show. thanks for sharing the tour of that enthusiastic, race-themed dealership. rare sight nowadays in the states cuz of the changing times
The yellowish color looks good, but not so good with the 4 cylinder motor?, unless they have a turbo, but 6 cylinder motor is another thing. This MKV Supra is gonna be a sucess it´s growing on me every single day and i love it as it is now. Here they are asking 81k euros for a RZ 3L MKV Supra, my fav colors are yellow, dark grey and black.
Good news! Toyota has brought the Supra 2.0 to America and it is going to be priced at around $40k which is a pretty good bargain It’s good as a more affordable option for the GR Supra
if u would have watched the press release and interview/q&a toyota did a few months back, they said ALL of those vents, scoops, etc are blocked from factory but are designed to be removed for additional air intake, cooling etc. Behind those black covers its actually open space for ducting. so KINDA functional, kinda not? Def not FAKE vents, just capped. Remove the covers and it tunnels all the way through.
@@CaptTwo6 No prob, its a good watch i recommend checkin it out! Q&A w/ Tetsuya Tada chief engineer on the mk5 + 86. I watched it in full, i THINK on Dahm's chnl iirc. but TDIB, Rob Dahm, EngineeringExplained maybe cpl others were present and covered alot of it in some fashion or other.

Don't get me wrong I'm not hating the new supra and I really appreciate your work I know auto's are faster than manuals these days and I don't mind to be slower it's that experience of being connected to the car when shifting gears maunaly plus another point BMW engines are notorious for having plastic engine parts intakes, coil packs water pumps, valve covers and so on plastic engine parts deteriorate and crack eventually due to heat exposure if I would be buying that car my main concern would be longevity anyways time tell how well the new supra will last Again you did a phenomenal job keep up the good work bro

I'm sorta still waiting on a color I really like on those, before I'd really think, 'Yeah, under some circumstances I might like one of those. (I mean, a lot of the colors look *cool* but not for me. get over it. lol it would be entertaining, but really all the dif engines ppl have come to love swapping are ALL +20-30year old engine designs. pros AND cons to that statement...but at the end of the day its alot of old mechanical tech. besides, the B58 engine is ALOT MORE capable than people are giving it credit for- tune downpipe and upgrade turbo internal, same housing, and youre in the 6-700hp range.
many dealers in America don't even let you touch the supra, my local one ropes it off and locks the doors! but then again my local honda dealer does the same with the civic type-R...
I watched the video right through to the end just adding my piece in here I have driven the six cylinder turbocharged Mark 5 Supra nice comfortable car but definitely not worth the money that you're paying for it especially over here in New Zealand it's $99,990 a lot of people have just been buying the Z4 BMW and putting a Supra style body kit on it and saving yourself over $40,000.. the car itself is 90 percent BMW anyway
It's a nice looking car but the statistics on it are a bit weak 300+bhp in 2019 it's okay but it not alot, considering the weight of cars these days compared to the sports cars of the 90's car then were built with passion and love behind them now it's robots and computers building and controlling the vehicles. what happend to good drivers or skills? The engine bay does have holes to mount a 2JZ with Mark IV mounts, so you can do that for a track build or a street build if your local laws allow it.
