    For the cabin pressure, have you tried raising the trunk lid standoffs? They come from the factory screwed all the way in. Try unscrewing them to set the trunk lit a little higher it seems to reduce the seal just enough that the re-latching when you close the door isn't as much of a problem.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад

      Yeah I’ve messed with them. But if I adjust them any more, when the trunk is closed it doesn’t line up with the fenders

    As a Supra owner as well, I HATE how there is no dipstick, the clam shell hood gets super dirty/grimy where it’s covers the wheel wells, and for a $50k+ car there is no remote start option. But generally, I love the car.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed

      Yeah they really want you to just have the dealership do maintenance. Would be nice to have a physical way to measure for sure! And yeah right above the front tires gets very dirty under there

    • @topcover7390
      @topcover7390 Год назад +2

      @BrosFOURRSpeed it's just another thing to take control away from the driver. I've had it in a previous car and it drove me nuts. Would never option it. Reminded me of lane keep assist or whatever it is called, constantly doing something I don't want it to do. Our cars are becoming overly electrically controlled. I realize that's hard to avoid nowadays but I just prefer a more analog experience...particularly in a high performance sports car like the Supra.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад +1

      When on cruise I like it since I don't have to hit the brakes when a car comes in front. I do have the lane stuff all off and everything else off. But radar cruise seems to make things convenient for when driving when just cruising. Can still have all the fun in the car tho

    The inability to go smooth 1-2 gear quickly is due to the clutch delay valve. Its a one hour job with hand tools to remove. It fixes it.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed

      Yeah I've heard people mention that. What's the point of the delay valve if people can just remove it and it doesn't harm anything?

    • @chrisginoc
      @chrisginoc Год назад +1

      @@BrosFOURRSpeedIt does harm something if you remove it. If someone is harsh or likes to clutch dump their shifts, they will be wearing out the clutch faster than if you leave the CDV in.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed

      @@chrisginoc Interesting. I’ll probably leave it. With more driving I’m able to shift it better. But I’m not drag racing the car, so I guess I don’t need to shift any faster 😂

      I think by delaying the clutch engagement, it sacrifices the clutch to save the transmission. But honestly, this would only save the transmission from bad drivers who can't shift well. For the rest of us, it's needless clutch slip and awkward clutch engagement coordination.

    I saw your other vid about why you cancelled the “Zed”, if you love the Supra so much why post this “Things I hate”, sounds contradictory and a “Sponsor” switch?, I understand we all have to work and make a living, but I have to say, in life one must be true to themselves in order to find “joy” in life and receive blessings. To spend this much money on a “Toyota in disguise “ for a few dollars more and patient shopping there are option for better sports cars, Corvette, Porsche Cayman 718, Camaro ZL1,Audi TT RS, Challenger Hellcat, Fiat 124 Abarth. So your logic negates itself if you are shopping for a “true” Japanese make. You stated in the other video you would purchase the NISMO after cancelling the ZED, sounds like maybe you should have been patient and waited? We, the consumer understand the market and the competitiveness between brands, but the days of the “ console wars” is over, let’s just use “ buyers preference” in moving forward. The market is big enough to support all, “bashing” doesn’t help, and actually only confuses the buyer. Shopping is one of few “free will” decision we have in life, I say support a person in their pursuit to acquire what their heart desires rather than dousing their flames. Again enjoy your Supra😊

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад

      It's not contradictory. No car is perfect and this video is consumer advise for people looking to buy a Supra. In my ownership these points are all the drawbacks. Wouldn't you like to know any drawbacks in a car before you buy it? I sure would, that way I don't have buyers remorse. I don't care the origin of the car. Doesn't mean anything to me. The comparable Cayman is a GTS which costs $95k. So my $60k Supra is a much better buy. I've been in the C8 Corvette. Great car but just not my taste. Same for muscle cars, I just don't like them. 124 is way too slow and small. TTRS is a car we thought about buying, but for $10k less we are buying the RS3 which is more practical and just as fast. So with anything buy the car that works for you. The Supra with manual had the most going for it to fit my taste and even though there are some small downfalls, 95% of the car is perfect for me. I've driven 3 different Nissan Z cars, they just don't compare to the Supra so I didn't want to buy one. When the Nismo is available I might buy one to have for a bit. But I am very happy with the Supra purchase. No regrets.
      Yes everyone has free will and will buy the car that works for them, so this video as I already mentioned, is just more consumer information on the Supra so buyers can know every single little detail with what it's like to own this car. And they will then be able to make the best purchase possible to buy a car that fits their needs. Look at the other comments. So many Supra owners agree with these being the biggest drawbacks to the car. So I think my points are well received and most people understand the concept of this video.

      So every car is perfect? Don’t you think someone looking to buy a Supra would like to know any downfalls with the car before buying? You don’t really learn every little detail on a car from a quick test drive. So it’s good info to know when looking to buy one

    I also have a manual car with the volume buttons on the right side of the steering wheel and never did I had a single issue with it. I think you’re crazy.

      I never said I had an issue with it being on the right side of the wheel. Just would rather have the scroller wheel for volume and the button to change tracks
