- Today is part 2 of the last two sea days on board Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. Another rocky day at sea but still managed to make the most of it, today, we finished up the Ryan & Kala Olympics, checked out the a la carte restaurant Playmakers and enjoyed our final sunset on Oasis of the Seas!

I have all these video's saved in one place here in youtube to look back on our curise and how much fun we had for our first cruise!! It was so awesome to meet you both on the ship! We are looking at this same itinerary for Sept 2024. I think its the Symphony of the Seas will be up in the NJ area this time.. That’s hilarious because we had to do the exact same thing hahaha!! Those sliding closets were a great idea till they weren’t haha!

🙏🏼 We have been pretty lucky too! We have seen some crazy videos of some wild weather, that we hope to never see in person haha. But this was definitely one of the rockier days we have ever had.

We just got off the Oasis of the Seas and had a great week! It was our first Oasis class ship. You should organize a group cruise that would be fun.

Greetings! Great video...as usual! Thanks for sharing! Sorry about Kala's runaway bowling ball! She gave you a break so you could get the victory! LOL! I just got back from 7 days on the NCL Viva. Beautiful ship, neat technology, but over all, probably a bit over rated and over priced. I have been told the Prima, the sister ship, is almost identical in terms of the deck plans. I think NCL got so involved with designing the ship to be "fancy", they missed some things that would have been helpful to the guests. Have fun on the Jubilee! I am doing 7 days on an older Carnival ship near the end of February...and a b2b on an old RCL in March! Hit Diamond this past December...now I have my sights on Diamond plus! Take care and be safe! 😎😎😎
That’s too bad you didn’t love the ship. We are booked on the NCL Aqua in 2025 so I hope it’s not the same.
We are also worried that is the case with the icon too… that they put form over function in some areas, but I’m sure we will hear peoples feedback after the inaugural!

@@ryanandkala So this actually required zero gambling on Carnival (I went through the casino FunMatch program)...If you have Diamond or higher status on Royal, you automatically get MGM Gold status. I set up an account on the MGM website and called MGM for them to check my Royal status and add Gold status to my account. I then did a screenshot of the Gold card with my name on it and filled out the Carnival FunMatch casino form and attached the pic of the MGM gold card....and Boom, the Carnival casino offers just started showing up on my Offers page. I chose the newest ship with the offer "$100 per person for 2 ppl for a guaranteed balcony room with $200 back as on board credit, free drinks while gambling in the casino, and $50 casino free play". We still have to pay taxes/fees/gratuities, but this is basically a free cruise :)

We just finished our first cruise.( Liberty of the Seas). Had a blast. You both sparked our interest to try a cruise. We really liked getting hyped for our cruise by watching all your vlogs. Thanks for sharing.

When are you sailing Jubilee? Also are you sailing MSC this year? Don’t forget to status match first! Hilton Diamond is the best match!!
We are sailing on the Jubilee next month on 24 Feb! We can't wait!! We don't have an MSC cruise booked at the moment but we did book NCL and we are potentially looking to add another cruise during the week between Christmas and New Year's!! So maybe MSC, we'll have to check it out. Thanks for the info about the status matching! ☀️🍻😎
MSC Seascape is a great ship, but if you like Oasis class ships, then check out MSC World America which sets sail on April 12, 2025 - still a good bang for the buck!

How does oasis class compared to Carnival celebration in terms of spreading the crowds out?
We liked that celebration had a lot more pool options, but that being said there was only 1 pool on the lido deck and no kids area there so it was often very very crowded.
We like how Royal has incorporated the idea of neighborhoods on the ships so it tends to keep crowds a bit thinner.
We would have to say that they are pretty neck and neck, there are certain areas that will always cluster up like bars and restaurants and that’s to be expected on ships with that many people but both ships have a ton of venues so honestly it doesn’t feel as crowded as it is.
Have you ever gone on princess cruise line ans would you if you have not?
We haven't yet! We booked an NCL one but we are definitely open to all the cruise lines, we are potentially looking at adding another cruise between Christmas and New Year's so maybe Princess, MSC, Celebrity! We have some research to do!
