@ryanandkala omg really! Wow never did that. In NY they give it to you the way I was saying in alot of sushi restaurants. I like doing it that way because once you figure out how hot you like it it's great. Try it once you do it you won't want it any other way..
Drinking hack for Kayla, take some non drowsy Dramamine on those drinking days. Helps with the next day hangover. I usually take it before I go to bed.
Tip to those booking: At about 5:40 you can see the balconies above the smoking area. A lot of those are actually suites. I don't know what carnival was thinking there. Worst balconies on the ship. Right over smoking (and I'm not an anti-smoking jerk...you do you...but I don't want to smell it on my balcony) , off set just enough from cabins above that there is no cover from the sun or rain like a normal balcony, and 0 privacy. It's a bit of a fish bowl for the cabins above. No way in heck I'd pay what they charge for those suites, and watch out for location when booking a regular balcony too. THAT SAID: Location wise, totally bomb. There may have been a night I trotted down one deck of stairs in my (totally socially acceptable) pajamas to hang out at the Pig and Anchor bar, which was pretty much our favorite that whole cruise, along with summer landing. We spent a surprisingly limited amount of time on the lido for the whole two weeks. It was always just crazy up there and so chill at Summer's Landing or the Aft Pool. We loved decks 6-8 much more than the lido.
I have mostly sailed with Carnival, but just booked my first Princess cruise for September. Their Princess Plus/Princess Premier plans are better than anything I see on other lines…
We also want to try princess. We have heard great things about them especially the ships with the medallions. You’ll have to let us know what you think!!

Woo hoo first cruise!!! We can’t wait to hear all about it! Those towel clips werr purchased for me by Ryan’s mom for my first cruise back in 2014! I believe she got them from a little travel shop in Fort Lauderdale. But I am pretty sure I’ve seen them on Amazon too! They have a ton of towel clips on there. Have an amazing cruise 🫶🏼🍻
Too funny! Great edits! Love the intro to the golfing! Great slo-mo and theme song...Bad A belt and Ryan's Bad A Pink Putter! Then Kala's hole in one! Of course we loved the video of the slide adventures! LOL! Don't put the thought of charging for Guy's Burgers out in the universe! That's bad ju-ju! LOL Bad karma! I love the Alchemy bar! Amazing to watch the Mixologist there work! Perfect pours every time! They really know their craft at the Alchemy bar, their training is very apparent! I enjoyed the cucumber sunrise, felt like I was drinking healthy alcohol! Great pre-dinner shots/video! Great staging of the camera in various locations to get both of you in the shot. Nice shot with the champagne glasses and the rose. Very professional touches! BTW, lots of commercials throughout this production. Cha-ching! And nice T-shirts! Will take a closer look and may make an order. I was writing these comments as I was watching the video, just FYI. I will be on Vision of the Seas again next week for 20 days...then Carnival Magic for 20 days in September...then Vision again in November...should reach Diamond Plus during this cruise. NCL Aqua in December 2025. The Aqua is a sister to the Viva and Prima so I will have to see if the juice is worth the squeeze. I have my bias with NCL...but this was a pretty good deal for a brand new ship. BTW....Did you know some cruise lines will honor your RCL Loyalty status? Of course Celebrity, but also Virgin, MSC and I think one other that escapes me at the moment. I think you have to be Diamond or higher with RCL and what ever you book with the first time they honor your points, you will stay at that level until you surpass it by earning points in their loyalty program on their cruise line. So when I reach Diamond Plus, I will look into trying some of the brands where I will be able to keep my perks. You might want to check into that reciprocity option when you are booking on those cruise lines. In closing, this video was Fire! Great coverage and reviews of the shows! Wow! Those are some great adventures, we'll probably do a transatlantic at some point, Oasis would be a great one to do it on. We are doing a Mediterranean on the Explorer in May 🍻☀️😎
Blue Iguana is our go-to for breakfast! But on the Excel ships, it's a tie between Emerils and Big Chicken. As for a cruise countdown, it's 33 days for us until the Carnival Vista to Aruba, Bonaire & Grand Turk. And I've had the steak at Bonsai..it was amazing! It was actually more tender than the filet at the steakhouse..and cheaper! And the tall bartender at Alchemy (Nikola) is one of our faves! And it looked like Kala got pinned! Great vlog!!

We just got back from the Breeze and next up for us is the Jubilee. I decided to watch this again and realized that he really Packed that wrestling belt..So much for not over packing.. I love it!!! My favorite Lunch spot is the Italian restaurant

Great video as usual guys!! I am going on my third cruise ever, second on Enchanted Princess, in Sept. this year! We are going to New England and Canada! I have not been to any of these destinations so I am super excited!! We leave out of N.Y. and go to Newport Rhode Island, Boston Mass. , Bar harbor Maine, Newport Rhode Island and then St. John (Bay of Fundy) and Halifax. Should be a beautiful trip! Keep up the great work!

Love the video! just got back from a RC cruise out of galveston. looking forward to the Celebrity video whenever that is! Also, put a little of the wasabi in your soy sauce and stir it around! thats what I prefer.

Good videos I just found you two. This boat is noisy compared to your Alaska cruise. I loved Celebrity going to Alaska their smaller ship was able to get right up to the Dawes glacier and really good food.
So jealous you got to go to Dawes glacier! Yes it’s a much rowdier ship than the Alaska one! Alaska is generally a quieter more laid back cruise though I feel.
We were shocked to see how good carnival sushi was ! We actually thought it was better then RC … also there tapanyaki , is amazing ! Way better then RC and the experience is cool!
The sushi for me (the vegetarian GF) was right on par with Royal, the edamame’s were so good! They definitely beat our Royal there haha! The only thing that edges out Royal as better for me is that you can get some GF fried rice at Izumi on the a la carte menu! Otherwise they are fairly similar in quality! We did the teppanyaki but neither of us were crazy about it, we tried it but we don’t think we would do it again.
Tip for drinking alcohol. Get you some "BLOWFISH FOR HANGOVERS"!!!! When you wake up with a hangover, you take 2 of these with a glass of water and in 30 minutes, the nausea is gone, the headache is gone, the feeling weak and tired is gone. You feel like you never had a drink! TRY IT!!! Walgreens has it. Amazon has it.
You too are always fun! My next cruise will on Majestic Princess in May for Alaska. Then Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady in July, back to Alaska on Ovation of the Seas, and Sky Princess for Christmas. No more vacation days left 😂. Then back to all Princess for next year.

Kala, the vegetable roll isn’t on their regular menu, but the rolls with seafood are either $5 or $7, so I’d be surprised if your roll cost more than $5!
You’re right, I think I assumed the price was the same as the regular roll… I bet you it was even cheaper! I’ll have to actually check the bill next time and confirm!!
I feel like I never make it to breakfast for some reason lol. But I do like the omelette station. Carnival could charge for Guys and I would still get it.
I (Kala) am not a huge breakfast person! I am usually happy with my latte till lunch. Ryan is a growing boy and needs to eat all the meals haha! We agreed that even at $5 for guys it would still be packed! I wouldn’t pay for just GF fries though lol!
I’m sure my kids would run up the bill if that was the case. Their diet literally consist of Guys, shaqs, Ice cream and pizza when we go on cruises lol.
My adult son is on Jubilee right now, and I'm playing the same game of "on Celebration that's the ....." Was trying to tell him that Bar 820 also has coffee since the lines are so long at the actual coffee shop on 6 at Celebration Central (or whatever it's called on Jubilee lol) and had to go google to find out what the equivalent name is on Jubilee. I think it's the Marina bar? From what I'm seeing though, I kinda like the decor and theme of Jubilee just a little better! Dr Inks is super cool, what a giggle on the name.
Just got off the Norwegian encore a few weeks ago… next cruise is July… Norwegian Gem, Boston to Bermuda, then the Norwegian Prima in 2026! What Norwegian ship are you going on??
We just started back after Covid, so we’re making up for it 😂.The pearl is a sister ship of the gem. It’s an older ship, so it doesn’t have any of the slides and other activities like NCL’s newer ships. Don’t judge NCL solely on that… I love the older ships and the new ones. They both have their own unique features. The escape and encore are my favorite newer ships. The go karts are so fun on the encore! You can make dining reservations 130 days before your trip. If you want to do any of the specialty restaurants, you can make reservations then. You can also make the right when you get on the ship. Just some NCL advice … have fun… can’t wait for your vlogs!

We definitely make sure to judge ships based on other similar class ships so we would never put this up against a brand new manga ship, we would make sure to compare it with another smaller ship like the jewel of the seas or something. This one is more just to get away for me years as we have always wanted to do a New Year’s Eve cruise!! 🥳

Well here I am BACK on your video because we are FOUR DAYS OUT from leaving for that cruise I booked so long ago! I am obsessively excited and totally good with rewatching this series because it was so flippin long ago I've forgotten a lot of it, and you guys just make the kind of vlogs I like to watch. That trophy belt scene was hilarious! I think I'm going to start the Triforce Adventure Team Olympics on this cruise. Myself, sister and son have a little running inside joke that's the name of our gang lol Bonsai Sushi is maybe the most underrated restaurant on Carnival. I absolutely do NOT like sushi. It's not even the seafood. I cannot tolerate the seaweed paper they wrap it in. It's right up there with liver and cucumbers for things I just cannot eat. That said, there is more on that menu than you can even get to in one meal for non-sushi eaters and it's always FANTASTIC. And you're spot on that it's possibly the best place to eat on Elegant night on the whole ship. Okay, your over-poster is moving on to the next vid ;)

The wasabi is supposed to be mixed into your soy sauce and not more than 1/2 a pea Should be mixed in. The ginger is meant to be eaten between rolls to clear your palette not to be put on your roll. But if that is the way you like to eat it you do you. 😃

Royal fluctuates there's based on the type of cruises (newer ships, weekend cruises, that sorta thing) it ranges from 89-120 ish. Carnival just recently changed theirs so someone can correct me if I'm wrong but it's 69.95 if purchased before the cruise on shorter sailings and for longer sailings it's $59.

Wow your first cruise that's so exciting! We haven't been on the dream but some general Carnival tips would be: - Make sure to show up during your boarding window to avoid wait times, there's a Starbucks nearby that's a good spot to hang out if you're early. - Guys burger joint is amazing - Comedy on Carnival is usually pretty busy go pretty early but I find their comedy is really good. - Carnival events are usually the best, the white night party and 80s rock n glow party are lots of fun make sure to bring an outfit or some dollar store glow sticks for extra fun. (Maybe check your ships activities to make sure they have these events). - Family feud / Deal or no Deal are lots of fun - limelight lounge for night life entertainment. - You can bring on 2x bottles of wine per Stateroom I hope that answers your question! I think you have to be Diamond or higher with RCL and what ever you book with the first time they honor your points, you will stay at that level until you surpass it by earning points in their loyalty program on their cruise line. So when I reach Diamond Plus, I will look into trying some of the brands where I will be able to keep my perks. You might want to check into that reciprocity option when you are booking on those cruise lines.

Blue Iguana is our go-to for breakfast! But on the Excel ships, it's a tie between Emerils and Big Chicken. As for a cruise countdown, it's 33 days for us until the Carnival Vista to Aruba, Bonaire & Grand Turk. And I've had the steak at Bonsai..it was amazing! It was actually more tender than the filet at the steakhouse..and cheaper! And the tall bartender at Alchemy (Nikola) is one of our faves! And it looked like Kala got pinned! Great vlog!!

I have not been to any of these destinations so I am super excited!! We leave out of N.Y. and go to Newport Rhode Island, Boston Mass. , Bar harbor Maine, Newport Rhode Island and then St. John (Bay of Fundy) and Halifax. Should be a beautiful trip! Keep up the great work!

Good videos I just found you two. This boat is noisy compared to your Alaska cruise. I loved Celebrity going to Alaska their smaller ship was able to get right up to the Dawes glacier and really good food.

Yes it’s a much rowdier ship than the Alaska one! Alaska is generally a quieter more laid back cruise though I feel.
We were shocked to see how good carnival sushi was ! We actually thought it was better then RC … also there tapanyaki , is amazing ! Way better then RC and the experience is cool!
The sushi for me (the vegetarian GF) was right on par with Royal, the edamame’s were so good! They definitely beat our Royal there haha! The only thing that edges out Royal as better for me is that you can get some GF fried rice at Izumi on the a la carte menu!
Otherwise they are fairly similar in quality!
We did the teppanyaki but neither of us were crazy about it, we tried it but we don’t think we would do it again.

Tip for drinking alcohol. Get you some "BLOWFISH FOR HANGOVERS"!!!! When you wake up with a hangover, you take 2 of these with a glass of water and in 30 minutes, the nausea is gone, the headache is gone, the feeling weak and tired is gone. You feel like you never had a drink! TRY IT!!! Walgreens has it. Amazon has it.

Kala, the vegetable roll isn’t on their regular menu, but the rolls with seafood are either $5 or $7, so I’d be surprised if your roll cost more than $5!

My adult son is on Jubilee right now, and I'm playing the same game of "on Celebration that's the ....." Was trying to tell him that Bar 820 also has coffee since the lines are so long at the actual coffee shop on 6 at Celebration Central (or whatever it's called on Jubilee lol) and had to go google to find out what the equivalent name is on Jubilee. I think it's the Marina bar? From what I'm seeing though, I kinda like the decor and theme of Jubilee just a little better! Dr Inks is super cool, what a giggle on the name.

We are on Norwegian Pearl for the new years cruise!
We just started back after Covid, so we’re making up for it 😂.The pearl is a sister ship of the gem. It’s an older ship, so it doesn’t have any of the slides and other activities like NCL’s newer ships. Don’t judge NCL solely on that… I love the older ships and the new ones. They both have their own unique features. The escape and encore are my favorite newer ships. The go karts are so fun on the encore! You can make dining reservations 130 days before your trip. If you want to do any of the specialty restaurants, you can make reservations then. You can also make the right when you get on the ship. Just some NCL advice … have fun… can’t wait for your vlogs!
@aliciamarques6211 thanks for the info!! We definitely make sure to judge ships based on other similar class ships so we would never put this up against a brand new manga ship, we would make sure to compare it with another smaller ship like the jewel of the seas or something.

Well here I am BACK on your video because we are FOUR DAYS OUT from leaving for that cruise I booked so long ago! I am obsessively excited and totally good with rewatching this series because it was so flippin long ago I've forgotten a lot of it, and you guys just make the kind of vlogs I like to watch. That trophy belt scene was hilarious! I think I'm going to start the Triforce Adventure Team Olympics on this cruise. Myself, sister and son have a little running inside joke that's the name of our gang lol Bonsai Sushi is maybe the most underrated restaurant on Carnival. I absolutely do NOT like sushi. It's not even the seafood. I cannot tolerate the seaweed paper they wrap it in. It's right up there with liver and cucumbers for things I just cannot eat. That said, there is more on that menu than you can even get to in one meal for non-sushi eaters and it's always FANTASTIC. And you're spot on that it's possibly the best place to eat on Elegant night on the whole ship. Okay, your over-poster is moving on to the next vid ;)

To be honest I don’t think we ever ate any of the included foods (if there are any)

I found out that the sandwiches are included but the pastries are an additional charge. It’s a separate line from the coffee orders

The wasabi is supposed to be mixed into your soy sauce and not more than 1/2 a pea Should be mixed in. The ginger is meant to be eaten between rolls to clear your palette not to be put on your roll. But if that is the way you like to eat it you do you. 😃

What are the price differences between Royal and Carnival alcohol package?
Royal fluctuates there's based on the type of cruises (newer ships, weekend cruises, that sorta thing) it ranges from 89-120 ish. Carnival just recently changed theirs so someone can correct me if I'm wrong but it's 69.95 if purchased before the cruise on shorter sailings and for longer sailings it's $59.
Was formal night on the Celebration your first sea day? I realize this video is for the Jubilee. I have a cruise coming up on the Celebration and can't find info on it. Thank you for responses
Usually formal night is on the first sea day which is usually on day 2 and then again on like day 5 or 6 on a longer cruise.
Having just sailed RCI Oasis, how would you compare to Jubilee?
We would say the ships are pretty comparable!
We want to eventually do a RC vs Carnival video but we want to make sure we have all the info before we commit to it lol.

Wow your first cruise that's so exciting! We haven't been on the dream but some general Carnival tips would be:
- Make sure to show up during your boarding window to avoid wait times, there's a Starbucks nearby that's a good spot to hang out if you're early.
- Guys burger joint is amazing
- Comedy on Carnival is usually pretty busy go pretty early but I find their comedy is really good.
- Carnival events are usually the best, the white night party and 80s rock n glow party are lots of fun make sure to bring an outfit or some dollar store glow sticks for extra fun. (Maybe check your ships activities to make sure they have these events).
- Family feud / Deal or no Deal are lots of fun
- limelight lounge for night life entertainment.
- You can bring on 2x bottles of wine per Stateroom
