Budget is the way to go in regards to your room. I rather splurge on drink package, excursions. Your room is for sleep, poop, shower and shave.

@@DyslexicDonkey In the past Ive always booked balcony. I realized I didn't have the patience to sit out on the balcony for more than maybe 15 minutes and that was way too long. I like being out and about.
We always book a balcony…and stick the “kids” in an inside cabin across the hall 😂
Watching because my son and I are going on this ship March 17th, so thanks for the tour, and more importantly..... I've watched a bunch of these from different people, trying to learn as much as I can about the ship. And I mean this sincerely.......thank you for not being annoying! lol. Carnival's deck parties are the best., way better then other lines. I'm not a Carnival fan really but they do know how to throw a deck party.

I am a interior room cruiser too. I am rarely in the room enough to enjoy a balcony. I have used two so far but prefer the interior. I do like the option for fresh air though.

But I always tell people even with all my cruising I still watch other people's videos because I always learn something new from the videos I learn something new on each cruise. yes you DO want a balcony for alaska, you also need a tripod for your camera and you both will need a warm waterproof jacket. if you get to skagway be sure to eat at the RED ONION.
Sadly we only have the GoPro but we have attachments that we suction it and hook it on to stuff. We’ve heard of this Red Onion I definitely want to check it out, I think right now we were going to do the Railway and Yukon suspension bridge or something similar, there seems to be a few options. I’ve only been on Carnival in the 12 years I’ve been cruising. We get great deals and that’s what mostly keeps us coming back. We’re going on a Mediterranean cruise on the Pride this September and I can’t wait!

Hey Ryan and Kayla, sorry to hear that you had travel issues getting from home to Miami, FL. HOWEVER, I think my situation beats you guys! I boarded the Carnival Celebration on January 22, 2023 for a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise. The early morning hours of the 4th day of the Cruise I lost my footing on some stairs, took a bad fall and fractured my right Hip. I was Medi-Vac'd off the ship in Costa Maya, Mexico, transported by Mexican land Ambulance for 2 hours to the nearest Airport and flown out to Tampa, FL. I spent 6 days in a hospital and underwent surgery where screws/pins were put into my Hip. I have been home for 4 weeks and walking with a Walker.

Great video! You will love Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas to Alaska, we did that cruise in 2019…the Music Hall venue is fabulous!! The new Carnival Celebration looks really nice, our very first cruise many years ago was on the original Celebration ship out of Galveston Tx, but we’ve sadly stopped cruising Carnival, the crowds it attracts isn’t for us anymore. Always fun watching your videos!! ⚓️

My first time watching you two fun loving people. I subscribed at the end of this!!! I can’t wait to see more. My fist cruise was on Carnival over 30 years ago. Lol lol. I’ve been sailing Royal Caribbean the last two years and have two more cruises booked. I’ve been tempered to sail Carnival again. Carnival has gotten a lot of bad press the last few months. We are going on our 9th Carnival Cruise to Alaska(First time Alaska) this May. We were going to go in 2020 but the Pandemic. It's way overdue. So excited. Glad you enjoyed Carnival.

Oh, and there ain't nothing wrong with getting the inside cabin. I've been on a bunch of cruises and have always gotten the interior room. We are leaving on Carnival Celebration April 23. I’m wondering how cool the temperature is inside the ship. Cool ? Do you need long sleeves? I get cold easy in air conditioning. I weight 108 lbs. so I get cold.
We can't really recall if it was cold but I know Kala brought something for warmth basically every night so I imagine it would be a good idea for you to bring something as well. Sorry we couldn't be more help!! Thanks for watching ☀️😎🍻

Luv the video. You guys are great. The pool towels are always in the cabin on Carnival and can be changed out at anytime by the cabin steward, just saying.🤣

Hey guys! We came across your video while searching for cruise vlogs (we binge watch them when we aren't editing our own videos 😆) . We are avid Carnival Cruisers ourselves with 20 cruises with them under our belt and number 21 coming up with the Celebration in April. I'm so glad you had a fun embarkation day, but it stunk that you didn't get to experience a Carnival sailaway party, though. Well, that means you have to go on one again! 😄 We just subbed and we are looking forward to your future videos! 😀

Wow 20 Cruises that’s incredible, we are definitely going to cruise with Carnival again I think the next one will probably be the Jubilee next January/February, we had such a fun time on this cruise!! @Ryan and Kala thank you so much! We have the Jubilee booked for July 2024 (along with more Carnival in the mix). Someday, we will branch out to other lines, but at this rate, we might as well get to Diamond status.
We did six Royal Caribbean cruises, BUT lately we have done four Carnival, our 5th is Celebration in May. I can hardly wait. Thanks for sharing your video. I like the entertainment & some of the ports that Carnival offers, but Royal has Carnival beat on the quality of food in the dinning room and the buffet.

9:24 the only criticism I have of the celebration is how bad the elevators are you can hit the button and you’ll wait for a long time before one comes
Oh definitely, this is an annoyance on a lot of the bigger ships. There seems to be a lot of scooters too which doesn't help. We try to take the stairs as much as we can but sometimes we cave and wait for the elevator 😂
