They were great if you plan to go back and forth between the beach area and the port area a few times. I believe it was $15 for the day or less if you were a child. They look like they’re comfortable too! We didn’t try them this time!
Hahaha Ryan calls it my jack sparrow hat! I love the sun but she doesn’t love me back… she’s making me wrinkle haha! Must hide from it at all costs now! ☀️ 🚫
I think you guys should try one of Carnivals old smaller ships. Simply because back in the 80s-90s Carnival was ahead of their time in Cruising and really paved the way for many cruise lines. Going on the Paradise, or Elation is like a “blast in the past” with the decor and overall design of the ship.
@@ryanandkala Curious, do you guys have any type of basically, for lack of a better word, "normal" jobs or do you mostly travel? I am happy for you all either way!! Again, God bless!
@robh845 we sure do!! We both work full time! I am an executive assistant and Ryan works for the Canadian government We travel during our allotted 3 week vacation and over holiday closures to maximize our ability to cruise!
We always love watching on Sunday night. Your sense of adventure is fun to watch. Y'all do things we'd never do!! 😂 what is your next cruise and when?? Thanks for all you do!
Awww thank you so much!!! 🫶🏼 Our next one is in May, we are taking our first Greek isles cruise out of Ravenna Italy over to Santorini, Mykonos, Athens and Croatia! We can’t wait we are so excited!!
Next time in Roatan, I highly recommend Little French Key resort. Beautiful place with tons to do. Plus there's a sloth/monkey place right next door you can add on. We just went for our second time a few weeks ago on Celebration, and we love it.
I have a question about booking that! Did you do thru carnival or did you buy it separately? If you bought it separately did you do it in person or online?

I love Mahogany Bay! So far as far as the Western Caribbean goes, it's my favorite. My husband and I love the free beach. Next time you and Kayla are on a Carnival cruise that goes there you should check it out. Also I think you two would like the Carnival Steakhouse. I'm not sure about Vegtarian/Gluten Free menus but you can always ask.
We loved mahogany bay too! We will definitely spend more time there next time!! We haven’t done any specialty dining in carnival yet because the free options are sooooo good! But we definitely need to check it out next time as well!
Looks like you guys had a fantastic time in Roatan. What a fun trip! I guess we were on a different side when we went a few years ago. Definitely like a real menu. Don't like carrying my phone all the time. You guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing your adventures! Happy Wednesday!!
Yes there’s 2 ports in Roatan we did the other side last time with Royal. We had an amazing time!! Honestly that zipline was the coolest thing! We also like the paper menus!
