Oh Jenny... the sloth was adorable, but when that lizard jumped on you I was ready to scream. You handled yourself well. I may have screamed when it initially landed.
Poor Jenny.....
I felt so bad for here....
Oh no, I woulda been that scream you heard all the way back at port, 😂
Ok. I am in tears. Just booked this for the current 2023 cruise. I am more than excited because it is a bucket list to hold/hug a sloth. Yay. So fun. Can’t wait.
I would be all in for the sloth hugging, but count me out on being a perch for monkeys, birds, or iguanas. Jenny, kudos to you. I would have lost my crap if that prehistoric looking reptile jumped on me!
I LOVED Jenny’s reaction - that was a true sloth connection right there! 🥰
Jenny cried with the iguana on her…. And I cried when the sloth 🦥 hugged her… I think it was a “awe, mama cry”..so happy for her!
Aww....Jenny!
Oh my goodness what an experience. That looked so awesome. The sloth were so content. How amazing to watch. Thank you
Oh my goodness, Jenny B mouth drop !!
So proud of you!! Those claws hurt and you didn't scream. I did so laugh though. Man he got you at the end LMAO
One of my favorite videos you made .. At one of my favorite places... Cant wait to go back..
Sloth hugs look therapeutic! I'd probably skip the monkeys for multiple reasons, but the ones at the local zoo when I was a kid used to throw their own poo at visitors so that's the top reason😖
We are in Roatan this morning! Heading to Daniel Johnson’s after breakfast on the Mardi Gras
So cool, we are on The Vista for the Sailabration in 3 weeks, on this excursion. Can’t wait.
We have been to Roatan 4 times and still there is something to do each time. just love it
Oh my god, that iguana!!!!! It went right for you, Jenny LOL
Poor Jenny....i am glad she didn’t let that ruin her entire day. You are a trooper, Jenny!!! ❤️
My son and I watched this video this morning and we ended up booking this excursion for our April 2022 cruise! Thank you for all the amazing content you have made and continue to make! So appreciated!
Looks AMAZING!! Seems like an amazing port stop to have all sorts of cool experiences, epecially being able to hug a sloth!!
Gumbilina park is a really good place to interact with the moneys, birds and iguanas. They are not kept in cages and roam free. No slots tho.
What a wonderful and exciting day!! Thank you so much sharing.
I love your presentation, and the inserting of the photos. Nice excursion, thanks for sharing.
That looks so fun with the sloths
So beautiful, what a magical experience
Thanks for the tour. Towards the end of the year we’ll be on Carnival Glory. Looking forward to Sloth Time!
LOVED it! I so want a do-over in Roatan someday! Jenny you were cool as a cucumber under pressure! You rocked it girl (with the iguana)!!!!
Aww this excursion is so awesome. The sloth are adorable. I don't know how you resisted not hugging, rocking or rubbing them. The monkey's were ornery and hilarious. I love Parrots. Only because a friend of mine owned 2 in Florida and I was around them often and when I went to Sarasota Jungle Gardens I was around them. Also a lot of patients owned some type of bird. Then the iguana, Jenny what a trooper. Loved this video. I think this is one of my favorite excursion videos of all Travelers.
I would love that excursion! Very cool!
That looks like sooo much fun!!!
Oh my goshhhhh that widdle face! ❤️🥰
This is totally my kind of fun. Oh those sloths, then moneys...animals amaze me
Wow - Daniel Johnson's has grown since we were there last. The lizard area would be something I'd like as well, but poor Jenny! Thanks for sharing your adventures in Roatan! 🙌
We are going to these same ports in February of 2020. Looking forward to this excursion. Thanks Tony.
What a fun day. The sloths were so amazing. We gotta do that next time we are there ❤️
Yay what a great video!! We are doing this excursion in May when we sail on Mardi Gras!!!
Wow ya'll look so intense but happy at the same time. Great job, looks fun.
Not even 30 seconds in & I gotta hit the "Like" button. Gotta love the way Tony emphasizes words lol
Way to go loved this one💕💕💕
Love, Love, Love going to Daniel Johnson's been there 3 times. We book with him directly & get the tour with snorkeling. His people will take you on one of the best snorkeling experiences!!
I enjoyed following along as usual
I loved hugging a sloth best experience!
Hi Jenny and Tony, I enjoyed your excursion with hugging a sloth, monkeys, iguanas, and the birds. Looked like fun!🐒🦎🐟
We went on the same excursion in Sept 19. Made our trip!
I cant wait till january when i get to hold a sloth.. so excited
AMAZING EXCURSION!!!!!
I really enjoy all your videos. My husband and I are looking forward to meeting you on the Carnival Breeze in October 2020!!!!!
Be still my heart .... how sweet are you both Jenny and Tony hugging those sloths! 💕 MickieG Adelaide Sth Australia
Roatan, hot, and I'd be snorkeling, they have fantastic snorkeling there, truly a must do.
OMG the Sloths were sooooooooooooo cute.. Funny, I never actually realized what sloths were until this video. Neat tho, very cool to watch. I wish La Lido Loca was a TV channel, I'd watch it every day like the Discovery channel, lol.
The first time we went Roatan was the first time I ever stepped foot into the ocean it was on our excursion to the princess island resort I was amazed how salty the water tasted
Tony & Jenny how fun all of the pictures, video, and people you meet from your groups and local folks during the cruises and excursions. Creating "Cool Cultural Experiences" and "Memorable Moments" :D
Wow, what incredible footage you got! The Iguana launching at the camera scared the s#*t out of me! Hugging a sloth is at the top of my cruise bucket list and we are going to Roatán on the Mardi Gras next year so this vlog was very helpful!
That was wild when the iguana jumped on Jenny‘s head!
Awesome video!!!! I enjoyed it
When I took that excursion with NCL, a few years ago, we had a couple of bus loads of people but I only remember 1 staff member on site. So there wasn't any feeding of the iguanas or the tarpin. In fact, there wasn't any explanation for the fish at all. Everybody just kind of followed the path to see where it lead..."oh... big fish." And then we all walked back to the buses... I probably wouldn't do that excursion again. Once was enough for me. Thanks, Tony.
That little sloth saw Jenny for the sweetie that she is! Good call, little sloth!
Very fun!🙏❤️🙏
The iguana segment was hilarious I did not expect that 😂😂😂
My favorite part was Jenny hold the sloth.. The iguanas no way they scare me.. Felt bad for you Jenny..
Last time we went to Roatan we went to Anthony's Key Resort and swam with the dolphins (my wife goes bonkers over dolphins). Anyway it was great and the dolphins seem very well cared for. My kids would LOVE to see the Sloths and Monkeys. Oh what a hug lol! Jennie you want it? NO! hehe my wife could never handle the bird either
Oh, Jenny! You did so well with the Iguana on your head. That would have been a flying Iguana!!
I'm with Jenny after a big bird was on my head for like 2 seconds, "Ok, I'm good." I'm rather afraid of birds.
Love the sloth posing for the camera
We just chilled out at Mahogany when we were there in January, but that excursion seemed like mucho fun. My wife also would rather the iguanas stay their distance. 👍👍👍😎
I LOVE Roatan! So happy to see this video.
That's cool
Great camera shot of the Iguana jumping on your head Jenny. I thought he had jumped on my head for a second and I didn't like it either! Lol
So want to go to the iguana farm! I don't know why, but just love them. Have seen them on different islands (Aruba, Curacao, St. Thomas, etc.), but never so many!! Loved this video. Sloths, monkeys, birds, fish, iguanas, Oh, my!!
Angela Ivy we have tons of iguanas here in Miami!
Maybe Miami can open an iguana farm and make money on them, also! FYI they are not native to Florida.
Looked like a long walk!!!
Great sloth and monkey excursion. Sorry Jenny had to go thru an uncomfortable iguana 🦎 experience. Thx for sharing ❤️🚢
I would have died! That iguana came at you on a mission! Great shot though!
Jenny, you looked like you really wanted to rock that Sloth and then you were in the middle of a domestic dispute with the monkeys. Then you had a tour guides sweaty hat shoved on your head. Then a Iguana on your head. Then a bird on your head. Tony I will give you the heads up. Jenny has animal magnetism.
Loved Roatan. Going to try and go back for a 5 day stint in june.....it will be hot AF but after jelly fish season!
Jenny, speaking of hot, I ALWAYS soak a hand towel in cold water and hang it around my neck for shore excursions in hot a$$ places. Life saver! Replenish cold water as needed when available. I don't care how ridiculous I look.
I would love to go there
Funny we were on the Vista the wee before you. Both of you must’ve missed us waving to you. Lol. The same kid you have doing the tour did ours. He was great and so was the excursion. Both Tony and the sloth have the same color of hair...coincidentally???? Great job
poor Jenny, i would have lost it if that Iguana had jumped on me
We went to a different sloth, monkey Sanctuary that did not have iguanas Jenny would like it better too..lol..I will find out from Johan of Real Deal tours where he took us. He took us there first and it was not a lot of people there at all. We got a bit of time with monkeys and sloths😊❤, so glad you got to experience the hug a sloth !
Omg those iguanas freak me out. We have some really huge ones crawling around the canals here in Miami.
Well that's the only place in Honduras you'll see so many iguanas.
Iguana is considered a delicacy for the locals.
Did they explain why you aren't supposed to pet the sloths or rock back and forth like any mother would do? I'm not sure I could help myself unless they have a good reason.
Now that’s an excursion I would like to do
chaslangdon66 not to many places do it. It stresses the sloths out.
Thanks for sharing. Now I do not have to do that tour😄
Tony the lizard whisperer!! I'm with Jenny, I will watch from afar but lizards are too closely related to snake and I am afraid of snakes!! Thanks for sharing looks like you had a ton of fun!!
Was that Morgan Freeman standing beside Jenny? I really love Sloths and this video!
An iguana is just like a furless monkey! And they’re as quiet as the sloths.
We docked at Coxen Hole. No hill there but not much shade of you have a non-ship excursion booked and need to go out to the street.
Manawakie Park let us pet and rock the sloth. You couldn't get me in the monkey cage though LOL
Thanks for posting this excursion!! I
can only imagine how HOT 🔥it must have been there! Was humidity high too?
Awe Jenny that iguana jumping right at you. I feel for you girl. Although it wouldn't be scary for me. I've hand fed owls, squirrels, deer, and a wolf. This would be the best excursion. How much does something like that cost? Thank you and you 2 are so fun to watch.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️
Just saw where y’all are in Charlotte - we are near Greensboro nc (more know city near us)
wow learnt a different type of monkey looked interesting
Hi, loved your video. How much did your excursion cost and did you pay through the cruise?
Do you still have time to explore the port and beach before or after the excursion?
I wonder if you can still eat iguana on Isla Roatan. When we went it was on the menu at a zip line and monkey place. It looks like it was replaced with chicken on the new menu.
I so badly wanted to do this last year when we went on a cruise but I was trying to do it with a friend that was going and he kept holding off on booking and this was booked up so we did just the monkey and bird one where we had to go across a terrifying bridge that did not seem very stable at all. Def wanna book this if I ever get the chance for Roatan again.
In 2021 I got wheelchair ride back
So how far is this particular excursion from the cruise ship? We’re actually going on the NCL
I'm so excited for this excursion. I'm curious to know if the ride was comfortable.
It wasn’t too bad.
I just signed up for this excursion. I'll be going on the Carnival Freedom on 4/19. Do you have to take your passport with you on the island?
Did they say why you can’t pet the sloths
Was there a few years ago and the only close contact was a monkey. Would have loved to have had interaction with a macaw!
Did you learn about the Aussie who form a company for Roatan artists? He’s shop was pass the cruise owned tourist so-called handmade souvenir shops, through the guarded gate and down the worst poverty stricken street, Coxen Hole. Luckily we had a young local guide that kept the thugs away and believe me, there were shady looking characters lurking on ever corner. The shop is called ‘Made in Roatan’, a non-profit with all proceeds going back to Roatans.
Jenny you were amazing when the iguana jumped on you I would not of been able to deal with it so well but I would love to but a sloth. Why can't you let them.
