We have spoken at great length about both Kairi and Aqua on this channel. But outside of maybe a passing comment or two on a podcast, there been no mention of the common flaw these two characters have. And so - this video now exists - ENJOY!

So much talk of both Aqua and Kairi on this channel but I never took the time to put this video together to point out their common flaw! Is there a common flaw I have missed? Let me know Lodge Gang!

I feel like aqua is going to fail at something while teaching kairi I think it would be nice to see aqua meet's Master Yoda and he tells her that failure is the greatest teacher!

I wanna see Kairi save Sora in a sort-of subverted role reversal of old fairytales like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Very good analysis of the characters man. I think that Kairi can learn how to be more confident in herself from Aqua because Kairi seems to lack it especially when Sora or Riku aren't around. You can tell from even her battle qoutes in remind when she says "Please work." Yep and Aqua can learn a bit of patcience from Kairi. Since Aqua is so gifted in magic perhaps she can even teach Kairi how to use her powers as a princess of heart.

Great mini video Landi. Idk if it was on purpose, but the intro portion had no audio. Just thought you should know. Anyway, nice brief discussion as usual dude.

I love Aqua and I love that she's training Kairi so she's not a damsel in distress anymore and Aqua is going back to the realm of darkness with Terra and Ven maybe they'll find Ephemer there and bring him back to the realm of light🎉

So, there has been one thing I've never understood. Could you explain why Kairi training under Aqua is a big deal? "Master" is at the end of the day, just a title, which should be evident by the fact that Aqua recieves it before even leaving Land of Departure. And it's not like Kairi has had no training whatsoever, and while we don't see what it was it was at least considered more efficient than just traveling the world as Sora does, and involved sparring with the person the Organization trusted to deal with traitors, including experienced keyblade wielders. While Aqua may have ten years of fighting monsters under her belt, I don't see how that makes her a big deal when Kairi has been struggling against humanoids, a different type of opponent all together. Then there's even less hype on the gameplay side of things, as KH0.2/3 already nerfed Aqua and made Kairi as good or better in every way except for a super mode. While I can see her fighting style developing, I cannot see how that would be distinct from learning from any other keyblade wielder, or even just through personal practice.
