- Because it's hard to find the ages of the protagonists up to date i decided to make a video listing them myself, also I discuss what I think they'd be doing
DISCLAIMER: I am not the best at math so there may be some mistakes and also i didn't take into consideration the break length between certain arcs so some characters may be wrong in the way that their a year older or younger

are you sure the age is right don't forget that red and yellow and green return to stone for three years and didn't age while being stoned so you must make sure to count age 3 year. They didn't age because they were stuck a stone statue 3 years I'm not sure if you added that into your account when coming up with three age
Yellow's just 1 year older than the Johto dexholders in the Gold, Silver, & Crystal arc breh
I know I am late but in Pokemon oras, red mentions that green(m) went to kalos for work (I don't remember properly) and at that time red was 20 years old so green also must be 20 as of kalos arc. I don't know if I am correct🤔

@@ShahzDaneil agreed. I hate the evolution and masters iteration. They’re so inconsistent and the manga came first anyway. Only issue I have is Y having Greninja but the canon is solid.

there’s infinite iterations of the protag so it doesn’t matter which starter they choose imo
with how competitive ruby and sapphire are with each other i can completely see them constantly trying to one up the other at their own profession.

Gold as a gambler would be funny since the 2 elderly of the Pokémon Daycare moved to another region, which is Sinnoh (prior to HGSS vol.2). Still, he might stay as a Breeder since it suit his title as the 'Hatcher'.
Ideal outcome is that he takes over the daycare from them because it's right outside of Goldenrod, so he can be a breeder and then go hit up the Game Corner to feed his crippling addiction
It's even funnier when his own togepi adopted his gambling habits.
Also, the elderly daycare couple still calls gold in even in HGSS. More breeding and breeding.

i think a lot of the jobs or other avenues they are attending too makes sense, besides Gold’s. Was saw him in the HGSS arc taking a liking towards Pokèathalon so i would assume he’s now an esteemed athlete there

There's this INCREDIBLE fanfiction called "Maps I Must Keep" which is a short but sweet look at Ruby and Sapphire's married life after she gets pregnant, with all the Dex Holders grown up, with jobs even.
Ruby takes over the Lillycove contest Hall, Sapphire suceeds Norman as Petalburg Gym Leader and so much more.
Red in particular has his own arc about getting his job and dealing with PTSD of all things, and Silver becomes a freelancer. He's not poor, but he has the unavoidable duty of becoming everyone's babysitter across the entire damn world.
Also, as he likes to emphasize, he's single... And content!

Fun fact the names for green and blue are swapped from what they should be. The girl is the real blue. It's because the original 2 versions are red and green in Japanese
Yes, but it makes sense to swap them in English, since the games we got were Red and Blue.
@@testytest69420 But the rest of the world uses the correct Japanese names. Also, the remake named FireRed and LeafGreen so Red and Green are the names of 2 main male characters make more sense.

I just love the continuity of these stories. It shows growth and connectivity to the audience in real time.
That is one major advantage I put over the anime. As they take the promotional episodic approach With limited character development and world building, The books have more artistic freedom and world polishing to keep the reading Audience engaged.

I love the pokémon adventures ages them being a bit below 30 makes sense and the newest pokédex holders being teenagers so yeah happy 20th anniversary pokémon adventures
actually, according the manga debut, red is 25 years old. I know you are considering the game ages as well, but thats a big mistake, you have to take red's age into consideration first and according to that adjust it. I am making a multiverse anime where these characters are the top main cast, so i will be taking red as and the original dexholders to be 25
Wait what I didn’t use the game ages for this I just used a timeline of Pokémon Adventures then just added on the years it’s got nothing to do with irl factors

Red and Blue are 21 in Sun and Moon. It’s been 10 years between SM and RGBY.
Did they ever confirm Black 2 & White 2 that Red is actually 28 years old in that game? I know that GameFreak didn’t updated Red’s sprite to give him more adult appearance unlike Red looked very much an adult in Sun & Moon.
I think it was more to do with em using math to add up the ages rather than an official confirmation it’s on bulbapedia so i trust them

The names were swapped in the official English translation of the manga, so that Blue is the guy with the charizard while Green is the girl with the blastoise. I think the reason is because the pokemon red and pokemon blue versions of the game being the ones released in America, while the pokemon green version wasn't released there. The official translations swapped the names to make it easier for young readers to connect the names with the games. I could be wrong about this theory, though XD so take what I said about the reason with a grain of salt.

Call me crazy but I believe that Green and Blue would be similar to Blue's parents, married but not present. I can see them spending a lot of down time together at professor Oak's place after Professor Oak basically adopted her after the GSC arc. and their personalities bounce off each other really well.

I think Henry and Casey should be 13. They definitely don't look 11 or 12 because their don't seem to be too different from their game counter parts but that's just me.

Personally I don't think there wouldn't be a 7 year difference between ORAS to S&M arc since in the final chapters of XY kalos professor I forgot that dudes name but he sent two of his assistants to alola region to research about zygarde so that wouldn't take that much time for me the time difference between both arc would be 1 years with highballed maximum 2 years old but I appreciate your hard work of calculating all of Thier age very well but game vise age calculation of red and green (blue in English) could be right since both of them looks in Thier last 20s when they challenged by sun in the game
Sun and moon takes place two months after XY. XY and ORAS don’t have any links other than Gurkinn and Blue being mentioned so them having a difference still makes sense because you gotta remember ORAS chapter takes place before gen 4,5,6 and 7
