STJ!! The way you film it is so good… it makes us almost enjoy as much as you do! Also, I personally like your style. I like the subtleties which get interwoven by you. You are focused and concentrated, yet ‘loose’ in another way. Your channel makes me wanna know more about Japan, and Japanese culture. Thank you for always uploading! : )
"it was a good experience" = "2 stars, would not eat here again." lol. Thanks to your videos I've talked my wife into coming to Japan in early October for a backpacking tour of the country. THANK YOU!
You should do an exclusively cakes-&-desserts video one day, I was blown away by the dessert section of this video, even more than the beef even though I am a carnivore. Japanese desserts have a very high reputation in other parts of Asia, we regard it as highly as French desserts. Keep on vlogging!
Your definition of "eating small" is about three times bigger than mine. I know, however, that you're making this sacrifice STJ, because you want to show your fans as much Japanese food as possible in a short video. Thank you for your sacrifice.
What a nice food tour. Your first meal was well balanced and looked delicious, especially the mixed salad. The dessert was heavenly, I could have inhaled it. I'm afraid your dinner was loaded with way too much protein . . . looked good though. Would have really enjoyed the breakfast chocolate danish. All in all, a very, very nice tour. Will catch you in the next one. Take care and stay safe.
Thank god I ate enough today, it is again mouthwatering and another place on my list to go to.. Thank you very much STJ-san! ok.. need to look for a liiitle snack now😅
All of the beef looked fantastic, but that cheesecake made me wish for a piece. I sense we may be seeing the buffet ship again. 😊 Thanks for taking us along.
Wow, I know this restaurant, it’s close to my home. I kind of expected you to stay at Meriken Park Hotel…Harborland is one of Kobe’s postcards. Hope you have fun in Awajishima, I think you’ll enjoy seeing the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, it’s an amazing view
Really love your videos! Please do Osaka. My family will visit at the end of June.. and I will try to convince my wife to take an overnight cruise on a ferry 😅
Two videos in one day! Is it my birthday? I could really tuck right into that Kobe in the boiling cauldron lol. I think you hid the salad from us and didn't really eat all of it...didn't you? Beautiful patisserie. My favorite French pastry is the "Napoleon" with an apricot glaze. I think the various kinds of beef were a tasty presentation. You can't go wrong with grilled meats in my opinion.
I agree with you, STJ-san. Kobe beef is not to my taste, but I do love some nice wagyu. That type of cheesecake is my favorite dessert, ever since I was little! I like mine with blackberries best :)
nice to see Kobe in a new video. unfortunately the last time i tried to go to Kobe, I couldn't do any sightseeing as it was raining heavily. Fortunately, we still went for our Kobe beef teppanyaki lunch which was fantastic! Thank goodness for the Kobe beef association website 😅
I was watching this with a full stomach but after seeing it, my appetite has expanded. Thank you :) Also, do you have any plans on going to any restaurants that serve "Chanko Nabe"?
Dear Dude, I don't know what your real occupation is but I envy your life style. I wish I was young and could travel all the time looking for good food, like you do. Thank you always for your interesting videos!
We made day trips to Kobe as we were staying in Osaka. went Kobe steakland for lunch & the price was too bad....another day we had dinner at Tanryu which was expensive
Raw eggs are safe to eat in many parts of the world. I myself eat raw yoke or semi raw often. But i would never eat neither raw nor semi raw egg white. The slimy watery white consistency does not make me feel well. Like raw oyster it reminds me of something else i very much preferer not mixed with food. I think raw egg must be an acquired taste. At least I know many here who would not eat raw yoke either.
In Japan, Chicken eggs are generally safe to consume raw or partially cooked. Salmonella may only be present in eggs when the outer shell surface has been exposed to poultry fecal contamination. In Japan, at the farm level - the chickens are vaccinated against Salmonella, the feed is heated to kill Salmonella, and the coops houses are regularly cleaned and disinfected. As a result, Salmonella occurrences are rare.
"one or two is the same," - this is the kind of dessert math I can get behind.

There are times when I wish I could be your food companion for a day. This is one of those days. Thank you for your wonderful style of presentation.
Kobe seems to be underrated compared to big brother Osaka as a food town. Good to see you giving it some love!
It's fantastic. It even has a baby Kabukicho for fun nightlife.
I don’t think so at all. I seen quite a lot of Kobe videos.
I always eat lunch or dinner watching your videos. You may be Solo Travel but you're my lunch companion 😊
"it was a good experience" = "2 stars, would not eat here again." lol. Thanks to your videos I've talked my wife into coming to Japan in early October for a backpacking tour of the country. THANK YOU!
Great content as always. I love it once again. Keep it up. Thanks. 👍👍👍😍😍😍
I'm excited to finally see the view from that bridge in the next video! We've seen it from just about every other angle.
My mouth literally started watering when you showed the close-up shots of the beef 🤤❤

Yes, he’s got a big appetite.
Yay! A new video! Love your channel!

I could feel the luxurious taste of the Kobe and Wagyu beef coming through the video screen. Thank you for the experience.
Absolutely gorgeous. And your subtitles are always a delight.
Beef looked so good! Thankyou for the delicious tour 🤘🤩🤘
All of the beef looked fantastic, but that cheesecake made me wish for a piece. I sense we may be seeing the buffet ship again. 😊 Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks! The cheese cake was great
My mouth watered watching this 😊
Brilliant! As a reluctant vegetarian I totally adore your videos 😂 ❤👍
I'm not sure I have ever met a reluctant vegetarian. 😂❤👍
Those desserts looked amazing :) 😋🍰😍
I wish I had waited to watch this until after I had dinner! 🥚🍚🥘😅
The fish market near Sannomiya (and the fresh beef/fish at the train station) was inspiring and had the best fotomaki too. I hope you visited.

Thank you so much for sharing this❤🧡💛
8:43 dessert looks so nice!
That creme fraiche caramel something something looked like a work of art.

I'm very glad I had lunch before watching this, because otherwise I would be very hungry right now

Sometimes it is possible to foretell the future, in this instance I can see a Luminous Kobe 2 Buffet cruise coming up.
i wonder if you have to pay extra for semi private room? i will be doing my own solo trip soon, Very excited. Thank you for the video
"That's coffee" yeah, and next to it was curry rice 😂 😂
For a moment, I was worried STJ wouldn't have enough to make it until lunch!
We made day trips to Kobe as we were staying in Osaka. went Kobe steakland for lunch & the price was too bad....another day we had dinner at Tanryu which was expensive
This looks so good 😭😭😭
美味しそう!
Need some advice for travelling around Japan can you help us?
Are there any places in Tokyo that do this that you recommend?
‘Buffet Cruiser’
That’s got your name written all over it 😂
that's quite expensive..but it's not about the cost of the beef..it's quality..impressive
I am tasting the meat as you grill it!! But I would have left it on the grill for an extra 10 seconds, less red.
2 videos in one day, what??? Is Christmas in April?? Take care and thank you...
Thanks
👍😊❤
Grill! That! Salad! 🤣
(Yes, I have watched and am referring to THAT episode of Kitchen Nightmares…!)
👏🤩💕
Gohan is soooooo Oishi, with tamago raw on it!!!!!
😳😳😳🍷😋😋😋
Instead of “it’s small a bit” we say “it’s a bit small”
Caught cheating on curry!!
Nice video as always, STJ! I don't blame you for liking regular wagyu over Kobe beef. The extremely high fat content just isn't for everyone.
Does anyone have the address/phone number for this restaurant
?
I agree. One or two is the same.
US store-bought eggs are nearly always pasteurized as well. Buying them from a farm, however, may not be.
In the U.S., not all store bought Chicken Eggs have been pasteurized, unless specifically stated on the package.
!!
I tried expensive Kobe beef and honestly I cannot tell the difference between black angus toro beef except price. Maybe my taste are not refined *lol*
Thanks for the super!

Eating raw egg is safe in Australia, America and Europe too. In what part of the world is eating raw egg unsafe?
11:16 Be kobe? Omg madura people has invaded japan..bekobe
Love your videos but the raw egg is something I'm not brave enough to try.

I don't like the taste of raw egg. It's nothing to do with them being safe or not.
To heck with raw eggs. I would have poured it into the broth. 🐔
That would turn it into a sludge-like substance.
@@eatlikealocal No, it becomes poached egg.
the only thing i cant get past is the raw egg . the rest of it is a go
Love your videos but raw egg? No thank you
