I carry the 27 with a 23 magazine extension. I am thinking a bout getting a 1 inch longer threaded barrel. If I had a do over I probably would have went with a 23 since concealment isn't a big deal for me. With these 2 mods. The 27 is basically a 23
I appendix carried 23 for years and it is a good carry gun, but I wear fitted shirts and sometimes the grip can print when walking against the wind. I started carrying the 27 and that eliminated almost any printing and I can wear my fitted shirt without looking crazy and the capacity is nominal. I actually appendix carry the 27 with its 27 magazine in it and carry two 23 magazines for reloads. I figure if I shoot it won’t matter if I reload with longer magazine after that since I won’t be concealing anymore at that moment.
How much more of a difference is there when conceal carrying a 27 over a 23 I want a small carry size but I feel like the recoil on the 27 will be too much snap on the wrist but also thinking about the 23 being to bulky to conceal
You didn't mention the magazines. Like the G27 can shoot with the G23 Magazine, but the G23 can't shoot the G27 Magazines. Also, I would of liked to see a shooting comparison. Does the 23's longer barrel make a difference in velocity and range ?
No offense, but how about talking some about their particular handling characteristics, differences in felt recoil impulse, CCW (appendix and 4/8 o'clock positions), etc...The things that matter to most people watching comparison videos of these two guns.
Which would be a better suggestion for conceal carry? I like the size of the 23 because I feel like it's more comfortable in the hand and you'd be able to control it and be more accurate with it being you can get all 3 finger on it as to where you can only get 2 fingers on the 27's grip. Should I get the 27 but with a small extension or just go with the 23? I feel like the 27 would be best but at the same time I wanna get all 3 finger on it for more control. Id wanna appendix carry and back carry

Do you know if the trigger groups are the same? I ask because Timney says their trigger won't fit in a 27 but will fit a 23. I was under the impression glocks all had the same trigger group. I emailed Timney but the response was thoroughly useless.
Hmmm, in some cases it might but it also depends on the Gen model of the handguns. I would say to check with Glock. Also you may find some decent info on the web such as........ www.glocktalk.com/threads/smooth-trigger-on-g27.1440308/
@mikerobinson8734 because it's not my carry piece. It's my tinker piece. Why does it matter to you what I do with my stuff? Edit: The last sentence comes off rude. Not my intention. I can appreciate greatly that a timney is not a safe carry option.

The 27 is simply too small
Love me my Glock23 Gen4 ....
G23 is indeed a great handgun!

@@yosemitecam2741 thanks much for that link. Got an older gen 3. Looks like I may be in business. I appreciate the reply.
Why would you want a competition trigger in a carry gun? The timmney is not safe to carry.
