Jay, I really enjoy your videos. I feel like their honest, true and right to the point. I don't care about the quality of your videos, although I know those who might regardless.
I don't think you should stress as much from the pressure from others. If your hobby is stressful, it ain't much of a hobby. I know this is your living now, but jobs can still be hobbies.

This video is why I like watching your channel. You're a human being and not a corporate puppet. I think you're absolutely right in that many of your followers may become disconnected if make some different moves. Also, nice touch with the revolver fittings. I am really happy with the black nickel/chrome fittings I chose for my hardline build. Anyways, I am really digging your orange theme.

Really happy you're doing an orange build. I feel like the hardest part is finding parts that match the build since most builds are red, black, or blue themed. I'm really loving how it looks and can't wait to see it be built. Also, I think you're one of the only people to really do a decent orange build

jayz, watching your vid on this channel, following the development of skunkworks, make me feels so grateful for what i have especially my humble rig. Even though i cant afford to set-up my own water cooling rig, i don't feel sad, subdued, inferior or whatsoever.. in fact, you have make me love my rig so much as i love skunkworks. thanks for being honest and sincere in your videos. Love your simplicity, naturalistic, true-to-life attitude. Keep on growing your channel and make other people happy.

I really find it cool watching you build Skunkworks, and learn about what it's like being a big RUclipsr at the same time, I would've never thought about the burn-out or competition near the end of the year.

I was really skeptical with your decision to go with orange, at first. But now that I see it I am starting to like it. And this is coming from a girl who REALLY hates the colour orange....

+Ryan Geran You are correct. I generally like blue LEDs in the front to bring in nice cool air and red LEDs in the back to push performance out the back.
Love Performance-PCs. They literally ship your order the very next day and have a huge selection. I'll order after mid night on Sunday and my package will already be sent out with a tracking number by the time I wake up the following morning. When something goes out of stock it's usually back on the shelves within a week. Can't say enough good things about them. I haven't had to deal with their customer service department yet but I'll take that as a good thing. If you can go 5+ orders with over $1,000 spent and not have to contact Customer Service once then you know they're doing something right.
Every person needs to relax some time, so thanks Jay for being open and sincere! You shouldn't be judged based on the fact that you are a youtuber, as everyone needs some personal time, and you shouldn't worry. Just keep doing what you do best.
Just wanna let you know jay, your style of videos is the reason i still watch your channel as opposed to all the other tech channels. I still drop in on linus occasionally for his reviews and stuff, and tek syndicate for the tek, but your channel is one of the few i actually care about.
i like the Vlog style every once in a while, it feels more personal and connective

About the different color on the dye caps; they are probably different batches. The actual color of the dye can change from batch to batch and sometimes companies change the color over time. Also if it's a printed color apposed to the actual dye on the tip the printer toner could have been off. And it's probably printed because dye fades fast but even the printed color could be faded by light over time. So if you're buying dyes always try to buy the same batch for accuracy. Also, love your channel! You've encouraged me to build my first computer :)

I've been out of pc gaming for years now, but looking into getting a decent build soon so I've come across your channel, watched a couple videos the past couple of weeks but hadn't yet subscribed. Funny that what made me subscribe was the "Year of.." reference. You're right, this is a very intimate format, keep it up.

Nice looking car Jay, I love the look of the 350z for the most part. Just really dislike the rounded rear end so i couldn't ever really get into it 100%. GT-R rear end looks damn sexy,, too bad they didn't go for the same look. I'm more of a classic muscle car kinda guy though anyways, but that's mostly because of my biased towards them since my father restored a 68' RS Camaro for me.
You can bend 10mm/12mm PETG Hardline tubing from bitspower, Its what I used for my whole system. I would only recommend to heat it up once, then bend. if you make a mistake, when you re-heat, it will bubble.

Glad you took a chance to unplug. Burnout is a very real thing, and even if a few dissenters don't agree with it the majority of us understand. Considering not long ago you were burning the wick at both ends plus balancing home, work, and RUclips. we are glad you have hung in there. And because of that dedication I try to get as many of my tech friends to check out your channel (and hopefully disable adblock for them.) I am interested in how you are going to grow your channel and can't wait.

Man Jay, ive been with you for a damn long time. Before Skunkworks existed, before your 900d and before the 700 series from Nvidia. Wow lol. I remember when you still had your white system with the 680s and the 8350 and thw white tubing. Good times man.
When you re-paint your old fan rings, can you do a full DIY on that? What to use, etc. etc.?

Nice board choice, I have the X99-UD5, which is that board minus the added extra OC stuff. Solid motherboard, and picked it out for same reason, the winner was 130 bucks for it, display item.
the 370 looks amazing cool ride. liking the color choice. my favorite color for that car is the darker blue. hope you enjoy the ride.

Finally subbed today! I've watched a few of your vids and found them all very informative and presented in a digestible manner. You have also helped me to make a few decisions for the i5 6600k build I'm planning.
You can do both Jay. Do some of the more corporate looking videos, while still doing the VLOG or just in the same room style videos. It's a lot of work, but it will help the channel grow.
I did some tests and found orange Gatorade performs better than other cooling fluids and can help in a pinch while gaming if your thirsty

My pc is gunmetal grey and orange as well. I had mayhems pastel orange coolant, but it turned into mayhems pastel brown. All components were flushed so yeah... I'll change to the regular orange dye coolant if I like the look with your system.
its nobody's business what you buy but trolls will be trolls. I doubt they are being serious, just trying to be funny. Havent seen the comments. Also I think you shouldnt feel bad about the show changing slightly but dont change the foundation of the channel from builds etc like linus is doing. The builds are why we come here. Even if you possibly get bored doing the same stuff a lot, it taught me how to build a pc. And I like watching different kinds of builds, its comforting like a procedural court show.

I've loved the yellow Skunkworks has had for a while, but holy CRAP that is a nice orange..
Looking like a nice plan jay, I'm planning an overhaul for my current gaming system using a 750D airflow obsidian going with a red and black theme, only problem is... Money, the whole setup is going to cost me around £850 and being a student it's like nigh impossible for me to get that money... :( looking forward to see skunkworks when it's updated :D good luck!!

I always love your content Jay! It might help if you brought on 2-3 people on board with the channel! That way, someone could be monitoring your emails/responding to your emails and the other person could possibly be helping you out with the videos/editing =D. Jay, i know i might be late, but i was really intrigued by what you said. you said this year would be the year of expanding the channel etc. please jay, don't expand the channel if you don't feel like it. i know this might sound vague, but really. please please let this be your hobby that you happen to make money off. i know this is your job now, but it really shows if you make videos that you want to make versus videos you think you have to make. i and a hell of a lot of other people enjoy the "freestyle - i am jay and i do and i say as i feel and if you do not agree i don't care" kind of videos. there are too many yourubers out there that are making videos because they feel they need to - because they feel pressure. please. you are awesome. if you decide to not upload for 2 weeks, i would not care, because i know you put your time and passion in every single video that you make.

So, you're replacing your 350Z with a 370Z Nismo? That's cool. That's actually the car I want to get as soon as I'm able. Not a 2010, but a 2013. I like the styling on that year better, and it's the year I graduated from high school, so it holds special significance for me. Unfortunately, it means I'm probably going to have to wait another five to six years before I can even think of actually getting it, lol.
Paint the fans themselves, maybe? Excited to see how the channel expands.
