About this video:
In this video Yaro from Aviator Inspirations talks about how to pass any pilot interview. Passing an airline pilot interview takes lots of work and preparation, and in this video you will learn how to prepare for a pilot interview. I'll cover airline pilot interview prep, airline interview questions and answers, and talk about the airline pilot job interview process. Finding that first pilot job is hard, so you want to be prepared!
What other questions do you have about the pilot interview?
What is the psychological/cognitive testing about? What sort of questions get asked there?
They are designed to measure problem solving abilities and general IQ. If you google cognitive testing you will find many examples. For the psychology part, they ask you random questions like “do you like flowers” and then ask you the same question but worded differently to gauge if you answer them consistently.
These tests aren’t something you need to study for, it’s just another tool for the airlines to assess their candidates.
Not really a question, but a video idea...... could you tell us more about flight training for international students in Canada, school's, costs (from scratch to flight instructor) and career possibilities (in Canada)?
Thanks for the videos, really like your content, cheers!
I already made that video 👍🏻, check out my channel
After getting an pr can Indian work in Canada as pilot?
I wanted just to tell you that I love you as a brother in aviation even if Ive never meet you in person before for you have helped me alot through your videos ... keep the blue side up ! And keep sharing with us your great knowledge ... god bless you
Wow, thank you very much, I really do appreciate your kind words!! 🤙🏻
Excellent points. I like the SPARE and the research on the company are good take aways. I have been with small companies and they go by who you know.
Once you build an aviation network and a good reputation as a pilot, getting work becomes much easier. Are you planning on flying for the airlines someday?
@@AviatorInspirations Yes, working on building hours right now.
@@richa4425 Perfect! Well refer to this video once you are ready to move on
Excellent, thank you!

I like your videos im not going to be a pilot But just showing my support !!! I just Got Hired With Breeze Airways as a Flight Attendant. I start training August 2023.
Oh amazing, and thank you very much 😊! Is this your first aviation job?
Yup
Gracias
You’re welcome!
So when you interview with an airline ... in order to pass the sim eval, you need to fly the aircraft they’re hiring you for - even if you’ve never flow that aircraft type previously? Is it different for regionals and majors perhaps?
Hi Buddy,
I am 34 years old, I am planning to start my collage for Pilot training, Is this a good idea? Please advise. Thank you
Suggest flying school in Canada
I have seen your video about flying school
Awesome! Then may I recommend my video about international pilot training, I list several schools in the description of that video as well
Thankyou much love
Hello Yaro,
What did you do after graduating ? Did you become a flight instructor ?
I worked for a small charter outfit until they shut down, and then I went back and did my flight instructor rating👍🏻. Check out my video about life as a flight instructor!
Greetings!
How are the opportunities in Canada after completing the 200 hrs (PPL+CPL+Multi IFR). I'm a local. Please suggest
I have a video talking about finding your first pilot job. The first job is always the hardest, but with the pilot shortage (I also have a video on that) things are moving much faster. Look through my channel, I have many videos helping pilots in their aviation career👍🏻
I have never been in that type of emergency. When I was asked this same question all I could think of was the time when I shat myself on a bus. I got off as soon as possible and managed to find a field where I wiped using my socks and threw it away along with my pants. I didn't get the job, what should I have said given I haven't had an aviation emergency ?
😂 did you actually say that during an interview?
The answer is truth, you can say “I’ve never been in a real emergency, but during my training we practiced ……(power off landings, simulated engine failure etc) and then you go through the whole acronym I explain in the video. Sometimes you stretch the truth, they aren’t there to fact check you, as long as you can give an example and what the outcome was and what you learned from it. Keep practicing!
@@AviatorInspirations yes, I did say it because it was the only thing I could think off and once I started I couldn't really stop half way through.
I actually don't even have any flying experience apart from being a passenger on a commercial airline which might also be a problem. I can't afford to train but maybe I should just save up for a few lessons.
What job where you interviewing for?
Great job buddy but video too long and the background music too loud
Thank you for the feedback! 👍🏻
Hello sir I am trying to pass an interview to go to aviation academy but I don’t know what is the type of the question that the pilot will ask me about cuz I’m new here so hope that you can help me please my interview coming soon hope u can give me an idea thanks
What aviation academy are you applying to?
@@AviatorInspirations Gulf aviation academy
I’m a North American aviation channel, so I don’t know exactly what they will ask. But be ready to present yourself with confidence and sell yourself to the recruiters about why you want to become a pilot, and demonstrate any aviation knowledge you may already have.
Great, tips from a 21 year old low time cadet
Are you a cadet or you’re calling me a cadet?
I think he’s calling you the cadet…
Classic insecure avgeek comment 😂

If I have sweat in my palms can I become a pilot?
I don’t know if sweaty palms is a medical condition? Best to ask an aviation doctor
Do the Canadian government gives education loan for commercial pilot training?
No, you have to find other means of funding your training.
Sir, can you please make a video on Aeronautical Engineering.
I’m not versed in this topic so I don’t think I can provide any useful information.
