About this video:
In this video Yaro from Aviator Inspirations talks about can pilots have families? Do pilots get time for family is a common question from young aviators, and in this video you will learn about family life of a pilot. I'll cover married to a pilot what's it really like, what it's like being married to a pilot, and married to a commercial airline pilot. Realistic expectations of marriage to pilot is also covered, so hopefully this video answers your question the family life of airline pilots!
love this channel, always my go-to on all my aviation related questions
Always appreciate the support 🙂
Great video!
Thank you, hopefully it was insightful 🙂
@@AviatorInspirations definitely. While most of your content is something US pilots can relate to, I feel like you are in a unique position to tell the story of Canada’s pilot situation! I love the different view point!
Thank you, glad to hear! Yah there are many US channels, but I’m one of the the few Canadian ones. 👍🏻
Awesome insight and a well-explained video! Please could you make an episode on the route for new pilots with 200 hours to find their first flying job
I actually do have a video on how to find your first job. I have a career playlist that you should find helpful 🙂
Hi, My partner is going to become a pilot soon and I would like to know how much time she’ll be away once she finishes her training and eventually when she moves to a bigger company and flies internationally.
We both live in Canada and I want to figure out what needs to be done. Your help will be very productive!
Great question, and I have another video about pilots and relationships if you want to check that out as well. At the regional/airline level pilots are normally gone 14-16/month. So it’s a different lifestyle dynamic that you will have to get used to and figure out the logistics with kids etc
Can you pls give information about the Turkish airline’s policy
No idea. Did you try Google?
@@AviatorInspirations yes I tried but they showed your video I’ll try again 👍🏻
Could you please make a video about pilot shortage in Canada?
I already made one a few years ago, except we are in a deep pilot shortage now in Canada as well 🙂. What other questions do you have about the pilot shortage?
@@AviatorInspirations Any particular reason for this deep shortage?
Would like to ask how hard are the ATPL papers in Canada?
There are 2 exams, and there is a prep course you can take to get ready + study books. They are challenging but not impossible
@@AviatorInspirations Did you do it when you had your 750 hrs or through a integrated program?
I did the modular path, so I built close to 1500hrs before writing the exams. However the integrated program has many advantages in todays fast moving environment, as many airlines in Canada are hiring with 1000-1500hrs and ATPL exams written
@@AviatorInspirations how much did it cost you to do those papers?
I did it over 10years ago, so prices have changed, but the course is called AeroCourse and you should be able to find pricing on their website.
Some can, some can't and some won't
Very true! More and more people don’t want kids, so the aviation career will be much easier for those people.
