Bass may be good. But recorded with phone/camera, uploaded to youtube with quality being reduced and played through some rubbish headphones or PC loudsystem. Yeah that bass is great

What typically gets mics is the airflow over the small mic hole. And if you place it right next to the port, then of course, distortion city

That is actually very sad, they wont match at all soundwise, also the "subwoofers" arent really subs at all, but big midrange drivers.

Am I the only one that hates paper speakers/subwoofers? I know some of the best sounding speakers are paper but grot some reason I can't stand them and im not really sure why. I just feel the need to poke speakers from time to time and you can't really do that to a paper speaker xD

Most every professional speaker uses a paper pulp cone. I mean, I doubt poking it would do any damage, as that pulp is about 5x thicker than 110lb cardstock.
The reason a lot of drivers use paper pulp cones is because they dampen the resonant frequency of the driver itself. When you move to stiff materials, like aluminum, they have very little in terms of resonant damping, which causes the cone to "ring" at its resonant frequency.

@@zachskis819 the design of these woofers indicates that they are more like professional loudspeakers which have a wider frequency range, the cones don't have much movement which means it can reach the higher frequencies better, if they were dedicated subwoofers for bass frequencies only they would have larger and more durable speaker surrounds and probably a larger diameter voice coil. These probably have a frequency response of around 35Hz-3000Hz, i have a smaller 15 inch sub which has a rms power of 750w at 1ohm, it has a frequency response of 16Hz-250Hz

Song is called ‘Bass I love you’ while there isn’t even any bass in it. Sounds below 20 Hertz are not considered as bass. I think they should rename it to ‘Infrasound I love you’.

You can barely hear anything below 20Hz, if you play something below 20Hz and you can hear it - most likely you hear a resonance frequency, which is not a great thing for a sound system/speaker.
Harmonic. You hear a harmonic off the tonic.
You don't hear below 20 but you damn sure feel it.
Common misconception, a human can literally hear frequencies lower than 20Hz, just the hearing thresholds are different.
At 200Hz that is around ~14db, at 10Hz it's ~97db. And the only Subs on the open market which make that possible are JTR subs.

Yeah, they produce a lot more sound in terms of cone movement than those fat subs used in car and home cinema audio. They're also meant to throw the sound as far as possible and not rely on any living room acoustics, as Last Drop says, they're concert speakers.
I have both at home. A Good home cinema sub and middle priced pa sub. So to say it fast: when I want to blow The Windows out. Or when I have a Party in the garden ect. I User the pa. But the Sound quality of the home cinema is so much better than the pa. Wichtig the home cinema sub Bass is even more on point. Well, with music only The Difference is Good hearable But at Films.... Pls Do not ever Use a pa sub for Films. It will sound so fkn Bad againstall the cinema sub....

PA subs are basically just woofers that are designed to play loud and efficiently they are not the same as a true Subwoofer that can dig Into subsonic frequency's.
All in all it depends on the speakers frequency range and frequency roll off points and then box tuning and room placement.

Most of youtubers use these superexcursive car hifi drivers which gives nothing but swammy and boomy boombass without dynamics and details.
Most PA drivers are limited in the low end, meant for loud reproduction more than accuracy and range.
Still better than car audio. More honest specs as well in most cases.

No, no he couldn't. Those don't move enough, and produce enough pressure in those enclosures, and don't produce low enough tones to actually do damage.
Spike Kastleman higher notes are way more dangerous for your ear. It's REALLY hard to damage hearing with low bass.

No, they are not. They are mid-quality PA WOOFERS. a SUBwoofer plays SUB bass. BELOW 40hz. Which, even in the right enclosure, these will NEVER produce cleanly.
