That's an absolutely incredible setup. I can only imagine the tens of thousands that whole setup is and it rattles the whole house while remaining incredibly clean and not overpowering of the other speakers. Marvelous

I never thought I'd see a home system that makes mine look comparatively small, and mine's got 4 tower speakers comprising of twelve 6" - 7.5" bass drivers, two 12" subwoofers and one 18" subwoofer. Nothing more satisfying than bass so deep you can barely hear it, but the immense sound pressure makes EVERYTHING flap around like a tornado is coming. Very nice system there buddy.

Plus instead of having 4 separate subs in 4 separate boxes he just has two boxes with 4 woofers taking up less floor space. Does it look ridiculous, depends on the person but something like this meant to go behind an acoustic transparent screen for home theater. Stop making stuff up it just makes you look stupid.
takes me back 20 years... I had the Big box with 2 12 inch subs and used it in the truck and then moved it to the house. My neighbors didn't like me anymore for the next few years until I sold the house and moved :)
+CommanderLake I have 2 18" subs with 1000 watts to each and I made it a quest to soundproof the room. It took a layer of 5/8" sheetrock installed on sound channel strips, a layer of 6" Ruxol, another 5/8 sheet of drywall and that still wasn't enough so I doubled the wall with the same combo and that did the trick for about 99% or so. Worth every penny of material. I also made bass traps for my corners and it really helped take out the boominess without sacrificing that chest pressure when the subs hit GL on your build.
Hard work pays off. I told my wife I needed all those speakers because I was half deaf. She said the speakers were the reason and so I said I better get more then because at this rate I am going to be 3/4 deaf in a few weeks and will need them HA!
+Commanderlake - if you heard genuine 3hz bass tone for an extended period your internal organs would vibrate and kill you. So you weren't hearing a genuine 3hz, more like 10hz.
+Justin Hunting I find it amusing how people can lecture someone about something they have not experienced, I cant hear 3Hz but I can feel a small pressure in my ears. Try going into a room with no ventilation and moving the door in and out within the frame rapidly.

LudicFallacies i built 4 THTs , horns are a different ball game. these 4 18s will physically move more air, no doubt, but the horns may get substantially louder without as near as much distortion.
If it is a dedicated room for watching movies it is called a theater or theatre. You have a living room with a surround sound system. You could call it a media room but even that is a stretch. I like your front left to right separation. It should create a super wide front sound stage. To each their own. Hope you enjoy it.

nope, they are not for concerts my man .. there is a differenece betwen Hi-Fi and Professionals speakers. These are nothing compared to profesionals speakers but inside or outside in a small place they are the best .

PA loud speakers are woofers, and arent ment to play super low. 35 is prob the lowest youll really get from them.

That 183 burp wasn’t below 35hz more like 60hz. Also large well designed pa setups are designed to sound good across a large area. But what you can do in real life is enjoy the stunning cinema surround effects through those giant subwoofers while enjoying a action, drama or thriller movie with Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, Dolby Cinema or THX.
Daytons are good subs to have for home audio. I love how you built your sub enclosures. They remind me of the old Virtual technologies "VT" car sub boxs.. They used to make massive sub boxs and they was hella loud. Im sure you heard of em by the looks of how you designed your boxs lol. They are bad ass man good job. I built a custom jbl xtreme 2 i replaced the drivers with Dayton mini subs and a dayton amp ect and damn its way better even tho it was amazing to begin with now it hits harder bass gets deeper its a pretty good little setup. But i got 4 xtreme 2s and the 5th one had issues already so that's why its got dayton drivers and a dayton amp n bluetooth board from parts express lol
