Dont mind me, just trying to make sense of the pattern: 4:28 Row 1 - 4dc, skip 2,front post 2tc, front post tc into 2 that was skipped, 8dc etc 10:14 Row 2 - 4 dc, back post 4dc (in order), 8dc etc 13:08 - row 3 - 4dc, front post 4dc, 8dc etc 15:29 - row 4- 4dc, skip 2, back post 2tc, back post 2tc of the ones skipped, 8dc etc 19:35 - row 5 4dc, front post 4dc, 8dc etc 22:00 - row 6 - 4dc, back post 4dc, 8dc etc
I started making one and am stuck on when you say to do it again from 4:28 on the back panel . Do I start it all over again from 4:28 and repeat it to the end on when you finish the back panel on 21:49?

I LOVE the way you explain everything, this will be my first time making a garment/doing this kind of paneling as i’m more of a granny square blankets, tote bags, and plushy crocheter at the moment, but this video is super helpful! :))
@@AlyshaAutumn update: i’m about 1/2 done with this project and LOVING it, and my sister who is ALSO a big swiftie just told us she is pregnant! gender not confirmed yet but everyone is CONVINCED it is a baby girl, and if it turns out that she is i’ll be attempting to adapt this pattern to make an itty bitty baby cardigan (planning to use super fine/sock weight yarn and a small hook to get a good amount of cables in, and probably use appliqués instead for the stars). if it is a girl and i do try it out, i’ll let you know how it goes! thanks again for this pattern, it’s great!

Hi! i made this around a size M/L, i don't really provide exact measurements, so when I say like "make a chain that's long enough to go from shoulder to shoulder" you could base that off of your body's measurements, or off of a sweater you already own :) hope this helps

How do you size how many chains to do for the back? For example: how many chains would it be for a medium sized cardigan versus an extra large cardigan?

What's the trick to crocheting with nails? I have little nubs but had acrylics put ok for prom and I about pulled the nail off my finger, they kept getting in the way 🤣
I think that you just get used to it and adjust accordingly with practice! I forget how easy it is without nails after I’ve had them on for so long lmfao

Yep! As long as the sizing is the same as acrylic the pattern should work the same!
