Thanks Tony, i and my wife as it turns out got somewhat serious health issues going on right now so I can’t really dedicate myself to this but i’ve read over it and it’s exactly what i want to do at some point probably like a year from now God willing so i will be back to this also God willing but for now God bless you and i’ll still catch your tips and tricks when i can , you cracked me up talking about running out and buying a new guitar and at the time i had a chunk of money so went and tried out a $6,000 guitar I don’t even remember what it was but i knew I wouldn’t dare play it or have it around a bonfire and that’s mostly why I didn’t buy it but wish i had bought something i have a couple ok guitars an Ovation that i love but i was drunk and threw it one time sooooo next day epoxied it back together been playing on it ever since but it’s getting pretty haggered now that incident was about 20 yrs ago I don’t get drunk anymore anyway talk atcha later and thanks for what you do and how you do God bless
I'm an old guitarist and I love your lessons. When I hear a single chord or just two or three chords a song pops in my mind and it would be that I could play the song note for note like I have a photographic memory but now I can hear the three chords and play a different song to them and make it a different genre of music. The chords you used in this video did it. I'm humbled and grateful and am compelled to express gratitude. So thank you again. Keep doing what you are doing. God bless you, Tony Walkingstick, Cherokee,NC. USA
You explain my guitar life perfectly but then i’ve just been stuck for years playing the same old chords or barring them, anyway i feel i really connect with your teachings many thanks Tone!
Great tutorial Tony. Simple but challenging, practical and rewarding! Yours is my new favorite guitar channel as your tutes roughly match where I am at playing. Cheers from Aus.
love your lessons...and come here for your accent as well. defenitely a bonus! I suck compared to many but your lessons make me better! Keep them coming man!
Hey Tony I just want to give you a shout out man you have made me a better guitarist and I watch and like every single of your videos I can’t get enough of them it keeps me motivated. Thank you for all that you do brother.
I've been trying to play a few of your wee lessons and my guitar sounds different than yours. I always tune up before playing so I wondered if you were in standard tuning in "Fun Acoustic Blues..." video. Great videos -thanks for the lessons
Nice lesson, Tony. So we’re just basically playing the major pentatonic with those licks? My dogs are pretty much my only audience, they don’t complain much but one will howl when I start playing blues licks.
Hi Tony, thanks for this video, this was what I'm looking for to get back into guitar. I started about 40 years ago, took some lessons, learned some on my own, but as life got in the way, I dropped my playing until a few months ago. It took me a couple of minutes to get used to your accent, like when you were talking about the chord shapes, it sounded like sheep until I figured that out. You mentioned playing Springsteen for the "mellionth" time, but I knew that was millionth (if those are words, ha ha!), because my Mom says "melk" for milk. All joking aside, this was very well presented, and something a beginner (for the second time) can pick up easily. Have a great upcoming weekend!
Person: How do you perform so well? Musician: Practice. Person: It must be an inatte gift. Musician: It's practice. Person: I could never understand why some people have talent like this. It's magical and a mystery. Musician: Practice.
Learn more than diatonic chords... Diminished? Huh? Augmented? Huh? Secondary Dominants? huh? ...no more boring progressions... throw a min/maj7 in there for that 007 ending...boom epic.
For an audience, they should hear fresh songs. But if they're your roommates and just happen to hear you practicing, yeah. They're going to hear the same thing over and over. That's how you practice. Dems the brakes.
I would kill for him to use string then fret when he is saying where a finger goes. He is doing this for beginners who might get frustrated and rewinding just increases the frustration.

Loved it! Esp your patience showing the notes and strings you are playing
Liked the video. Very informative
Very helpful for a strugglng geriatric beginner. Thank you Tony .... Garrick
Very cool and I appreciate your work.
Excellent lesson, really made a piece of the caged system using the C shape and the A shape work with a simple melody. Thanks
Just discovered your channel; thank you for your very simple but effective guidance. Absolutely what I need to progress! Thank you.
I just found you a few days ago. Your lessons are great. I really enjoy them. Thank you.

Much appreciated to you Tony😎
Excellent! Love playing this.
Good lesson! Thanks!❤
Another good one Tony, thank you for posting these videos.
I am stuck in the G, C add9, and d, chord sequence, no matter how I try I cannot leave this sequence
One of your best video - thanks.
Nice lesson, Tony. So we’re just basically playing the major pentatonic with those licks?
My dogs are pretty much my only audience, they don’t complain much but one will howl when I start playing blues licks.
That’s a little more appreciation than I get from my wife 🤷🏼♀️ when I’m trying to play impossible stuff like Vinnie Moore or John Petrucci
Beautiful Tony
That was simple AND tasty. Thank you
Great wee lesson bud.
Thank You ❤

Great video as usual. You should try an Eastman guitar. I have an E10D. It’s as good as a D28 I once owned.
Thank you!
easy is good... thanks
yes i love it
Thank you!
Love it!
I would rather suck and still have enthusiasm to play.😢
Are you lacking enthusiasm amigo? Let me know if I can help 🎸
I was told by a retired art professor that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing poorly!
Thanks because that has been me for 15 years. But love every moment of sucking!
If you try, you get better, easy as that right?
You won't suck forever, that's the beauty of instruments.
Cheers
Of course you would… but your friends would prefer you didn’t!😂
If only I had the desire to try again. I’ve found that when you never get better despite making a concerted effort, you lose the desire to continue
i play this tommorow ^^ thx
If you are having fun and enjoying yourself playing guitar it will never suck!
.
Love this.!!!
.
💕💕
.
Just came across you videos, great stuff! Sub'd!!
perfect level for me
So easy even I could do it!
Fantastic..
Thank you! Cheers!
What model Martin? Nice acoustic
My parents alway said I’ll never be any good and 40 years later perhaps they are right , I feel hopeless 😩
I know I suck. I accept it. I still enjoy playing and have fun.
Every time you said ‘shape’, it sounded like ‘sheep’ 😂
Guitar sheep bahhhhhhhhh
Then he said two sheep, so I think it’s just a basic math class 🙂
Nice
Good

Instructions unclear. Played this, and I still suck.
👍👍
Thanks man
Nah. When they say I suck, they're correct. 😅

Nice friend's lol.
Making fun of you for something they wouldnt even try.
I had a friend like that once....once lol.
