I have a Gamo Varmint and I can hit a tin can at 50-55 yards or so fairly consistently. I really like this air rifle for squirrel hunting, and it even has the power at 50-55 yards to kill a squirrel most of the time
I put an old 3x9x40 scope on it and this thing is very accurate. Center bullseye at 30 feet every time from a rest. Used the Gamo Red fire pellets 7.8 g and it dropped the squirrel dead in its tracks.
@@FunkyDragons I have the same pellets lol in Canada they sell a low power which is like you would buy in the states only require ment is 18 and then they sell the full one but u need a full firearms license for it
Since the ammo shortage (or maybe I should say the almost complete non existence of ammo) I have taken to shooting a pellet gun in the back yard. I have neighbors. Unfortunately 1250 FPS is supersonic. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find a subsonic break barrel pellet rifle. I wound up with a Beeman R7. A bit on the expensive side, but nice and quiet, VERY accurate, and easy to cock.
I got a mantis 4-9 x 30 on my G Varmint and can take the eye out of a sparrow from 75' with barracuda power 10.65 gr pellets. Consistently hit the same hole from 25' Good point on locking the scope down. I used gun screw locker glue. Great gun for the price.
I just bought the 495fps detuned gun. (I live in canada and the max limit is 500fps). Just trying to get this thing dialed in. I'm currently using stoeger x-hunt 8.64 grain pellets and it's going okay... most of the time I get good groupings about 35-40 feet. But then sometimes I get a pellet that will fly off into a random direction away from the grouping (maybe an inch or two). Do you have any recommendations? Thanks

There is two varmint models you can get in Canada. Regular varmint is 495 FPS and the varmint high power is 1250 FPS. Need your PAL for the high power varmint. Both are on cabelas
I would not say loud but it is not quiet. Might want to look at one of the ones with a built in suppressor. I think they are called "whisper" or something like that.
Nice video sir... Can you make video on long range shoot with this gun.. And can you tell me should I buy this or should I go with whisper igt.... Please reply me...
We have both squares and circles and I forgot we had put on circles for the video. I couldnt see them at that distance. LOL Nope, not from Texas but have been asked that before. I will take it as a compliment because most everyone I have ever met from Texas were good people.
If a Texan with a rifle says it's "a square inch," then it's a square inch whether or not it looks like its cousin, the circle. 🤠 I do believe the sharpsootin' Texan gentleman meant the area of the target was approximately 1 square inch. Regardless, both father and son made the shots!

Samuel, try rws superdomes. They work in most guns and are not expensive, 2.6 cents per shot for 177.
putting your target range on the front gate is a great way to prevent solicitors great idea

Can you tell me where I can buy parts for the Gamo .177 caliber varmint
I would also recommend a air rifle cleaning kit. You can acquire gunk in the barrel.
Could you just use a normal gun cleaning kit or does it have to be for air rifles?

there should be a screw in the base of the triger to adjust it.

Not sure because I have not tried the F4. I have been very happy with this one.

My son still is shooting it and doing great.
