All inquisitor Marrok scenes - Ahsoka

- Every scene featuring former imperial inquisitor Marrok, the mysterious new guy from Ahsoka. Many theories existed about these guy like he's Ezra, he's Galen Marek, he's eight brother...
None of them was right, it seems like Marrok was just some random jedi hunter from the empire era.

Star Wars has this horrible problem of making awesome looking characters and then having them die in the most unsatisfactory or downright stupid ways possible.
What's annoying is this is especially frequent with inquisitors. Genuinely what was the point of Marrok? His appearance here only perpetuates the whole "inquisitors are useless" shit
@@Imperialstorm03damn you got a smart brain

The new boba fett, only line is “as you wish” and “she’s on the wing”

notice how he only shows up once morgan's out and about, if he really was with baylan and shin, he would've taken part in breaking Her out
Maybe he was a pilot. But then idk why he stayed on the ship, so I agree.
@@Cardo...
He was doing his nails 💅
I agree, also out of all the inquisitors he’s the only one without the Empire Logo on him
@@noahwojtak9303you mean in the show that takes place a decade after the empire fell? Yeah I doubt his suit looks exactly the way it did as an inquisitor
@@zacwilson6231that would be 5 years not 10
It's actually a little nuts how an inquisitor is holding his own against Ahsoka like that. Considering how the others fared against her, lmao, and how Kanan handed the Grand Inquisitor his ass.
He was probably enhanced with nightsister magick.
Didn't Seventh Sister held her own against Tano for a while? At least compared to Fifth "i am the next in line" Brother
@@sugdolomar Lol not long.
Seeing as he outlived all the other inquisitors (or atleast in some sense seeing as how he was brought back by nightsister magick) he probably had a lot of time to train
@@kevinzhang6623 7th Sister dueled Ahsoka more than twice, which this inquisitor can’t say the same.
the ahsoka show got live action inquisitors MILES better than the kenobi show.
Facts
The kenobi show was a straight up disgrace…. Ewan and Hayden deserved so much better.
@@thearthurmarston9897 well at least it was better than the sequel and you should thank some of those who did their best. It appears to be in a little improvement from Kennedy’s little sicko fantasy the last two of the sequel.
@@darthdracul8372 well TFA was actually better than Kenobi by far
There was no difference but 👌
He looks so badass
I had hopes Marrok would be a past, thought dead character alas the witch magic isnt too bad
Idk maybe the 8th brother even tho it isn't actually said at all
I actually met the actor who played Marrok at a convention. Even he did not know Marroks backstory and identity. The only vage thing Dave told that he was "not entirely human" "kind off mechanical"
Bro Dave himself have no idea who Marrok is
That backstory applies to any inquisitor as they are all in some way a cyborg due to vader cutting off their limbs to teach them about loss
@@skinnyj123
Straight up rip off from Metabarons
Wish he was in the show just a bit longer. But I enjoyed the character! Great video man
Thanks!
@@Cardo... why you acting like you made this video. Reporting you
@@borris3768 Because I made that video? I didn't make the show, if that was what you meant to say.
@@Cardo... You poorly edited some clips and make it out like it was hard work
@@borris3768 Where did I even mention the hard work? About the clips: There could be some scenes that are cut in the middle of a word, because the character leaves the scene eg. Or the second option is that I cut Marrok in the middle of his line or something like that. As I don't know what exact clips you mean, you can choose the answer from the above.
When you hire a Dark Souls character designer...
Same thing for the Inquisitor in tales of the Jedi
"Marrok the reborn warrior"
Undead sith jaja
He kinda reminds me of Karl Kroenen from Hellboy
I think I'm the only one who think like this 😅
Makes sense after all both are undead assassins
Marrok was an Inquisitor. His dead body was recovered near a temple by Darth Maul and the Nightsister clan.
From where do you have that info?
@@Totally-Not-Sauron
In the Sith vault , he'll return....
Source trust me bro
The dead maul? Or the dead nightsister clan? Why would either of them have any interest in an inquisitor? The only reason Morgan has him is because she's imperial
No es el mismo es otro inquisidor el del templo sith
So is he dead? Or... dead again? He's just like, Nightsister Magic right? Could he get brought back by another Night Sister?
Marrok was cool. Not a fan of his helmet though.
Marrok was such wasted potential he shouldn't have been killed off not at least this soon, he also is a side character but he is literally more powerful and more skilled than Shin Hati, it's not fair that he died... He is near Baylan in terms of dueling and power, although his Lightsaber was his weakness here...
No he doesn’t, he’s a resurrected henchman and that’s all he was and was always meant to be. The fandom is so stupid they made this character feel important when he wasn’t at all
@@omarbaba9892 Why conjure a wholly new Inquisitor design if his only purpose is to perpetuate the "inquisitors suck" nonsense? What role did he serve in the story? Besides as a temporary obstacle, Marrok offers nothing to the plot. Switch him out with some other ex-Jedi merc and the story changes nothing. The scrutiny is towards why make him an Inquisitor at all? Why offer him badass armor when his actions amount to so little to the point he's deserving of so much more? The fact they made him out to be a resurrected henchmen is also ludicrously canon breaking to the point I question why even have a third ex-Jedi at all if they don't intend to explore anything about him.
@@Imperialstorm03 canon breaking? Are you dense? Redirecting people from the dead has been a thing in Star Wars for decades and seen in canon in both clone wars and fallen order. And anyway he got 2 entire fight scenes to him which definitely isn’t that small of a role
And tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if they named him that to tease the fandom because they knew his name would send them into an autistic tirade of speculation which is what happened. If that’s true it’s hilarious because this fandom is idiotic with stuff like that
@@omarbaba9892 I'm not dense, are you? Because at no point has nightsister magick shown explicitly that they can resurrect the dead to the point they can communicate or behave as though they were ordinary humans. They've only been able to exercise necromancy in the sense they create zombies, not living people. I can't think of any example where resurrection of this capacity is possible in star wars and quite frankly if there's any, you realize that's also stupid right? It's the most cataclysmic addition to lore.
Shitty marketing tactic is all it was. A desperate attempt to *galvanize* an audience for this horrendously written show. Marrok has no point beyond that, hence he's wasted potential.
@@omarbaba9892 Are you? Lmao the nightsisters having the ability to "resurrect people" has NEVER been anything more than zombies who can't behave anything close to an individual. They're mindless and enraged. Marrok having the ability to speak is a plot hole. The very show literally shows that the night troopers by the time they were killed and "resurrected" were mindless. Any other instances of literal resurrection occurring is.. also stupid I hope you realize?
The fact they even bothered tells me they were just desperate for an audience, a way to gain viewership. Replace Marrok and nothing changes, there was very little reason to have him be a part of it much less make him an inquisitor.
Needs to be checked for scoliosis
Nah, the stunt actor who plays him is just very fit.
Omg I needed this video so much. Thx
I think the reason they killed that guy is cuz of budget cut and he’s probably same actor that plays Enoch, they both have similar thin body structure
Nuh uh nada nada yada yada nuh nuh uh
Actually, they are not the same actors. Enoch is played by Wes Chatham (who also plays Castor in the Mockingjay movies and Amos Burton on the Expanse) and Marrok is played by stuntman Paul Darnell (he doubled for Cobb Vanth on the Mandalorian, was one of the Night Wind Assassin in the Book of Boba Fett, was an ACU Trooper in Jurassic World and has done various stunts on other big movies).

I do not think he was a zombie brought back to life by magick. He moved too swiftly with concentrated moves and without zombie noises for an undead.
Nah, I think he was a living being - a survivor, who got a power boost from Morgan's power.
Yeah, I think that he's maybe boosted like Savage Oppress was.

Agreed
Except that we see the night troopers slowly become more nimble after they were resurrected in the final

What a waste
You mean like the sixth brother atleast this Inquisitor got more then 30 seconds of screen time💀 (im not sure if the sixth brother is the one ashoka killed barehanded)
@@Pablo-pr5ktThe ToTJ Inquisitor probably isnt 6th Brother since the Ahsoka novel says the 6th Brother was the first Inquisitor Ahsoka ever fought and it happens a few years before the show, although with how Dave retcons the fuck out of past work without giving a definitive answer the whole novel's canoncity is called into question so this very well could be the 6th Brother.

He seems to be stronger than the grand insquistor, kanan didnt have much training in his life but he was still a pretty skilled force weilder and lost to grand inquistor a couple of times but then the grand insquior lost to kanan even tho it would make sense for grand insquistor to win but kanan overpowered him but when marrok fought ahsoka the first time no one raelly won and we could see that he put up a good fight with her and the last time it took just a bit for ahsoka to win but its kinda differnet than the grand insquistor and also hes much faster
i might have not made sense what i was typing and what i meant just do your own research on stuff

I like the idea of the Inquisitors being inferior to a Jedi but at least they should be smart and attack in numbers... Like 3 inquisitors coordinated attack should be able to make Ahsoka run for her life until she can finally fight them in favorable terrain or 1 by 1.
Even a trained MMA fighter wouldn't like to fight 3 guys at the same time even if they're inferior fighters.
Instead all they do is use the Inquisitors as punching bags who are almost never a threat on screen because their presence don't make any sense.
Anyone else think Marrok was played by Sam Witwer?
No, but he voiced him.
It is actually a stunt performer named Paul Darnell.
You forgot the hologram scene.
2:34
5:05 Is Tràkata 😮
Can you also Do Anikan & Obi Wan
Probably not, cuz they have like 9-10 hours of screentime each across the star wars universe. Anakin, Obi-wan & Ahsoka are probably the only characters I do not plan to do.
Does anyone know the name of the track that starts at the start of the space battle scene at 2:00? I can't find the track for the life of me.
