    It sucks that almost every iteration of the Empire in Star Wars has to have some "Konstantine" character in it. Someone who is always incompetent or overconfident just for the sake of the hero's making it out.

    • @skywolfx76

      Nearly every imperial officer is either a bumbling idiot or a insufferable blowhard. Grand Admiral Thrawn is the only acception to this

      Dee Bradley Baker I would say a superstar close to legendary in my opinion and kind of always yeah he does a lot of voice acting for a nefarious different Star Wars Medias usually clones but outside of that he has done a lot of other Works to be honest like SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Codename: Kids Next Door, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Phineas and Ferb, Ben 10, The Legend of Korra, The 7D, Milo Murphy's Law and American Dad!
      the surprisingly he's also the voice of Atlas and P-body from Portal 2 and Reuben the pig
      Legends of the Hidden Temple in his early parts of his career

    12:10 I once read that the lieutenant could refuse Konstantine's orders.
    Because Konstantine only commands the Interdictor and Thrawn commands the entire fleet. And is also higher in rank.

    • @erikthomsen4768
      @erikthomsen4768 2 месяца назад +13

      That’s the problem with authority in the Empire.
      No one is willing to contradict an admiral and most admirals are too used to get their orders followed without anyone high ranking enough to overrule them.

  • @ArcticWolf00Alpha0
    @ArcticWolf00Alpha0 2 месяца назад +103

    What you will notice is that Konstantine is somewhat competent at the start of the show, but as time goes on and Thrawn shows up he becomes more incompetent. You can clearly tell that he is only as competent as the people writing him. Which explains why he has never had a win.

    • @OberBrickwebel
      @OberBrickwebel 2 месяца назад +14

      Now that you say it and I also see this compilation, he really seems relatively competent in the second season.

    • @stubbornspaceman7201

      More likely he didn’t like how Thrawn operated which caused him to make irrational decisions. And maybe even didn’t like that Thrawn wasn’t a human.

      La incompetencia de Konstantine se debe a dos cosas.
      La primera es porqué buscaban a alguien que ocupara el espacio vacío de la mediocridad dejado por Aresko y Grint.
      Y la segunda, por obvias razones, es para qué Thrawn sea visto cómo el único hombre inteligente del Imperio.
      En conclusión, fue culpa de los escritores.

    What I also find interesting:
    By refusing Thwarn's orders, the Phoenix group was able to escape at all. Including a hammerhead. This is exactly what ensures that the rebels can transmit the Death Star plans in the Battle of Scarif. By destroying the Star Destroyers.
    I don't know if it was exactly the same Hammerhead Corvette, but still very interesting.

    • @Jeksignup49
      @Jeksignup49 2 месяца назад +5

      Yep, that hammerhead in the battle of Atalon is confirmed to be the same one in scarif, it’s also interesting how it’s not just Konsinteen’s fault for that one, it’s also Lyste’s fault for letting the Hammerhead get stolen in the first place

    • @OberBrickwebel
      @OberBrickwebel 2 месяца назад +6

      @@Jeksignup49 To be fair, Liste had used every means available to protect the corvettes.
      He wasn't negligent.
      He was just an inexperienced lieutenant, having previously only served as a provisions master. But ambitious and loyal.
      He just didn't know that he was protecting the ships from Leia and not for Leia. He had allowed himself to be more or less intimidated by her.
      So I can't necessarily blame it.
