All facts. Exactly how dempsey trained in a low ceiling shack and it's how he got his power from perfecting his technical progress & body movements in these conditions
In addition to stamina and keeping your hips placed correctly most beginners have a difficult time twisting/rotating their back foot when they’re shooting the rear hand. It has a lot to do with being either flat footed, keeping their heels anchored to the ground instead of the ball/front portion of their rear foot.
crazy how you make vids on the things im working right as im working on them 1.)Shadow boxing for more Gas 2.)My footwork to be lighter on my feet 3.)my balance and strengthening my legs cause their weak atm. Thanx Jason again.
Thank you so much for this Video and all your other videos, I've been trying to solve the unstable hips. My local boxing coach keeps pointing that out but never taught me how to stabilize. I learned most of my boxing from your videos, and thank you for making me love boxing.

Thank you so much JT. You gave me pain to die for. Bro i hate this drill but imma keep working it till i love it it. Then imma get even lower. Awesome drill
Thanks a lot coach! So much respect for all the effort and quality content you are putting up since, always. I went through all of it along with you, and man, this is very cool and useful
This brings back all those years of low horse stance punching/kicking drills when I trained trad martial arts. :D great drill, so important for a solid foundation.
Awesome video sir! I started watching your videos just to shadow box as cardio but there is so much to learn! Will be doing this workout today. Thank you! 🥊🥊
Hi JT, I went low but I could do the 3 sets without feeling the burn or wanting to get up. I guess I've got strong legs😅 I'll think about staying low when boxing. I come from kickboxing so it's a different position. It was boring as hell but you've got to do what you've got to do😉🙏🏽👊🏽
At first I thought it was very easy just by watching. Then I followed the whole drill & my legs got burned out 😅 Many thanks Coach. Thanks to you my confidence level is building up everyday.

Tyson’s side to side body swing is unorthodox either. Normally one has to press one side of the shoulder diagonally to the other side of hip, but Tyson just does pure side to side swing.
I’ll try this out Tuesday Monday today quality thanks mate very good increase my power even more yess loveing it loveing it loveing like this power strength balance it’s the bollocks I love it
hello to the best pound for pound boxing trainer on RUclips I really mean that. Jason how are you doing you've been putting out a lot of weed video lately like this one here. Jason I want your opinion on the Lopez versus lomachenko fight coming up this Saturday? I think this is good fight boxing needs a kind of fight it's good for boxing I think Lopez will win the fight by knockout a throne if lomachenko when's the fight he's going to win it on points either way no matter who wins it's a damn good fight and I wish you and I we're watching it together. Stay positive and save my friend you stay positive and good things will happen
If you use a heavy duty elastic band(s) tied to your ankles you can make it very challenging. You can speed up the movements using the bands for added challenge. This transitions very well to other sports, thank you for the video.
Did it just now. Kicked my ass. But I had more problems in pivoting. Sometimes I lost my stance, and sometimes I was confused which is clockwise pivot and which is counter clockwise pivot. Though, as a beginner it is totally expected. I also had problems in left and right since, I am a southpaw so our left and right are same but stancewise motion are opposite.
Focus on defence, footwork and landing your jab in the first round. Maybe the occasional 1 - 2. Then start to throw a bit more when you start to figure out the range. A lot of fighters think they need I be really aggressive at first. Don’t. Figure him out in the first round then you can start to throw more once you’ve made some plans.
@Da Shadow Assassin yeah my punches feel fine. And the end of the video I spar. The guy has 2 years experience over me. Hes one of my friends friend who wanted to spar
I’m just curious Tony Jeffries has a video about how you don’t want a wide steps with knees bent because it makes your hip flexors tight and you can’t twist your hips as well or move. He said you want head over back foot and to push your butt out and that will naturally put a slight bend in your legs.
This is more of a conditioning drill, not technique or tactics. You don't want to box like this. Just like you do push-ups in training but not in the ring, ya feel me.
I will ask u this way it is when u come down low on your stands but the others teachers show not the same but I like your stands it is more better for winning fights
Thanks!

Try this with a resistance band around your legs above the knee. Have fun! Your glutes will thank me
Above the knee ?
@@heart3356 bit lower than the knees. but it doesnt matter it has to work for you to put more pressure on the legs 👍
that just puts more stress on your glutes. Not really doing anything for ya except for that burning feeling

So is this why kung fu / karate do all the "horse stance" practice?
most definitely
Yeah just thinking that, especially cuz I do Hung Kune But now I have a better understanding about why I have been doing it.
