You’re not bitching you’re venting. And you’re a good person do you have a good set of moral standard kinder to people than I would be. You look out for everyone. You’ve helped me understand wheelchairs I’ve been in one for five years now it’s hard your videos help me and I’m sure they help other people so carry-on. And if someone doesn’t like them they don’t have to watch. You’re going through a lot of things in your life don’t let them get you down. Thanks Frank
You definitely have more guts than I do. I would be terrified to go out in the woods like that alone, as with my luck my chair would die and i would be stuck there for days.
One other thing - I have MSA and I’m getting close to losing the use of my legs. That mate of yours who has MSA impressed me in respect of his support of the MSA Coalition. Please give him my greetings. Thanks for your channel. I regularly watch your channel and I love all the stuff you do.
Liked this video....I think you explained what a lot of us are feeling & dealing with. The disability life is a special kind of life NOT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART. Thank you for sharing Dan
Dan I don’t think you’re complaining none of us want to be in a wheelchair I went from driving a semi wrecker 50 ton powering around 800 pound wheelchair. It’s been five years now and I still adjusted to it. Used to go out in the trailer a lot more than you do now that’s what’s wrong. You’re a good person with a good set a standard. So carry-on just be you and you’ll do great. You’ve helped me and I think you for that. Thanks Frank
Yeah bro, all the changes going on in your life and the house not feeling like a home is definitely making things wacky along with the schmeh stuff going on in the world and Portland is like a snow globe full of shrapnel. Just keep truckin' as they say in my country🤙🏽. Yes, you need a vacation!
I love the trails. I got the tires for Bounders, it's awesome, last longer. I hope that wheelchair companies come with brushless motors, less maintenance
You just answered a question I had. I've ended up spinning out a few times. One time I was crossing a main road. I think the people at the light thought I was showing off...lol
Good one Not to worry I think we all have days like those. Life is battle everyday and there are times when we all get a bit upset at the constant struggles and then throw in some absolutely stupid actions and .... I Like the mods on the V6. I am due a new powered chair and I will be looking into one of those V6’s 73
Hi Dan i love your fid I'm the guy across the pond don't be disheartened you are amazing go and enjoy your friends company you make me sad to see you this way keep the vids coming
I do a garden and now I’m doing fruit trees and blueberries bushes and raspberries ya a little costly but it’s feeding me and I’m doing it myself u have to have accomplished something to make u feel good inside
I feel like wants you become diff-abled...every one treats you like a burden.... and some people’s reaction is to go way out there way to not be burdensome to the point of trying to erase their existence...us wheelchair users need to come together and make a better world for us too😅✌🏽
dan, your NOT ALONE! YES! a road trip will help you i am sure. i have one in the works as well with just a few more weeks to go! oh... and Damn... i had one eye closed when you went up that grassy HILL. butt puckering moment for sure! LOL take care! p.s. squish some ants for me! i hate HATE ants. they have ruined many a picnic and deserve it! ha ha ha
I’ve got an old m 3 what is 400 miles they gave me a new in three after five years I don’t like to fix up the old and three got 7 1/2 mile motors 120 amp controller there’s got to be something new with it. To make it a good off-road chair.
Hi Dan - recently found this channel as I started the process of getting my 1st power chair. Chair type was chosen by insurance & paid 100% - Invacare TDX SP. I am not sure i had any choice in Mfr or model. You are inspirational and I would love to hit trails.... but not certain my new chair will be half as capable as your mods make yours. I get the chair delivered next week...can't wait to get out of my house! Keep up what you are doing - it doesnt look like I'm alone in my admiration for your talent and insights...keep on keep'n on!
if you're careful ya can get most power chairs in a lot of places.. just gotta watch out for gravel, sand and deep grass etc... here's a video that might help out a bit though with not getting stuck as much :^) ruclips.net/video/C0Lr_YIMUck/видео.html just remember the chairs are HEAVY and the skinny wheels sink into a lot of surfaces. also front castor wheels tend to dig in pretty easily to soft surfaces. BUT watch the part of the video about running around in the grass.. just make large circles instead of trying to back straight up etc. as ya get used to the chair, make sure theres people around to help get ya un-stuck trying different surfaces etc. good luck!
Green poo?? What are you eating dude? LOL :-) Great idea with that different view angles! Can't wait for road-trip footage. It just doesn't feel right to complain knowing people are in a way worse shittuastion that you are, isn't it. But people who are in much better situation are complaining even more! Aren't they?? So don't apologize, It's totally normal after all :-) It will sound stupid, but it's kind of a good to hear that others life sometimes sucks as well :-)
those are some 24 volt lights from amazon. on my V6 theres a board under the seat with connections for lights, and a few other things. took some probing around with a multi-meter but figured out which pins were connected to the lighting buttons, and wired it up! the little board is under a thin plastic cover.. not sure if they have the same setup on newer chairs.. my V6 is a version 1 - they've changed a few things since then
Hello there Dan I know what you're saying Dan is it that I'm not interacting with other people don't cuddle No hugs there's something missing and it's positive interaction with other people I go to Walmart pick up my groceries I don't go out into the grocery stores don't go into the malls I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but I know what you mean does that make any sense I am just missing positive interaction with my kids and family and having positive reinforcement with other people I know what you saying but I don't know exactly how to explain it
yes! ive tried to figure that out before... in the good 'ol days (pre 2020) the first human interaction of the day always made everything better! even just a "hey hows it goin" from someone walking down the street, or gas station attendant etc...
Hey there Dan, I have been enjoying your videos for a long while now down here in Sacramento. I understand the mental health positives of getting outside having grown up in Hawaii. Anyways, I wanted to share some great mental escape I do, it is on twitch @AndyBumatai, mornings at 9am. I enjoy your videos, thanks for all your insights and humor. GB
Go outside for mental health purposes. Nature is medicine.
and thats why i like your videos!!

I would be terrified to go out in the woods like that alone, as with my luck my chair would die and i would be stuck there for days.
Just take extra food and water haha
I’ve gone out a couple times and it’s scary at first.
🎶It’s-a rainen ants!! Hallelujah it’s rainen ants, ay-men!!!🎶

Just adds to the cost with brushless motors

Hi Dan i love your fid I'm the guy across the pond don't be disheartened you are amazing go and enjoy your friends company you make me sad to see you this way keep the vids coming
Hi Dan
The first 14 minutes were pretty sweet.Almost like you were making a futuristic movie.
Pretty cool.
im never quite sure what the end result is gonna be when i start editing! LOL
Another awesome video stay strong always remember it could be worse and be well pal
Ya gotz da bugs drivin' ya BUGGY.
I like howling motors and slowing down with torque.
Totally wish I had trails like that close by me to ride to. Still working on trying to get a van, which would give me much more freedom.
I do a garden and now I’m doing fruit trees and blueberries bushes and raspberries ya a little costly but it’s feeding me and I’m doing it myself u have to have accomplished something to make u feel good inside

I am losing the use of my legs also. I hope to get my wheel chair soon. It’s a lot harder transition than people think. Catch u on the flip side.
Cool to see you out in your MM Frontier V6 AT!! As you know I LOVE mine!!
Hmmm, your motors are louder than mine. Interesting.
If you add a compressor I want one too!
My V6 is a solid Billy Goat! It climbs and climbs and climbs!!
My ties make more noise than the motors/gears.
It would be intersting to compare both our chairs. Hmmm, Portland isn't that far from Seattle....
It's crazy how much noise those Motors make. My front wheel drive V6 you cannot really even here nor can you hear the brakes hardly when they click in

Hello Dan I would like to know how to change the 90 amp control to 120 amp control. Or is there an old video that you can recommend me watch
I feel the same way

Hi Dan, Greetings from Sydney Australia. What do you think of Glide Centro bases?
How do you do that air on demand up and down that be cool.
You’re my hero Dan haaaaaaaaaaa!
Sometimes you just need to vent
Who install the lights in this chair? I saw the video that you was installing lights on the permobil , I want to install lights in my v6
those are some 24 volt lights from amazon. on my V6 theres a board under the seat with connections for lights, and a few other things. took some probing around with a multi-meter but figured out which pins were connected to the lighting buttons, and wired it up!

Thanks for taking a time to answer my question, I think my chair is the 2nd one I ordered on 2019
Not the way you are then you’ll fix it Up.
