Good morning. I've been in a chair (Quantum Edge HD) for a couple of years. I really appreciate your channel and I have a quick example of how your videos have helped me. A month or so ago the recline actuator failed, and the seat back went all the way back, dumping me on the floor. Only my seat belt was holding me in the chair. Fortunately, my wife was home and she managed to wrestle me over to a lift. I have a cheap Jazzy chair so I could still get around. i called my provider who was supposed to get me parts. that saga is still dragging on because they absolutely suck. Anyway, while watching your video on a Quantum chair you talked about how it did not have a power recline and you showed a solid bar in place of the actuator. that got my brain spinning and I ended up putting four hose clamps on the actuator piston to keep it from collapsing. I wouldn't have thought of that if I hadn't seen your video so thank you very much. I was able to McGiver my chair well enough to be able to drive again, which I haven't been able to do for almost a month. Keep up the good work!
I am m a Ham Operator, and had solar panels connected to a battery, on the battery I had a couple blue LED's and they were on constant for 7 years. And Still good today. They were bright, you could see them shining through the bottom of my Ham shack door at night.

whew its only with the planned project. For a second I thought it was about the lease again. Yep it took me 6 years to get around to putting light near my bed and i cheated with a pwm module. It will be wireless and voice eventually. Had the parts forever. Just waiting on the spoons.

Hey Dan, I’ve been a paraplegic for about 10 years. Started with “jazzys”, then Quantum, but the last 3 have been Permobil. I love the F3, except I hate the arm rests. I cannot find any alternative arm rests from Permobil, even my DME doesn’t know. These things are much too wide, all my door jams show the damage. Use your knowledge and skill to come up with a 2” wide replacement; the whole chair community will love it…
If you order the Permobil arm trough conversion kit, then ya get standard round bars and can install waterfall style or many others! Did it on my F3 :-)
Wow! One of those Quantum seat lift "test" plug orders was mine! I saw that your store site said it was "shipped." Can't wait to get it, but a bit nervous about messing with my new Quantum Q6 Edge 3 TB4 being delivered in the next few weeks. (I know, not the best chair, in fact, expecting it to be sub-par, but I had no choice). Not even sure your plug is even made for what Pride is kicking out in 2024, but the Lord hates a coward. Now I just learned the plug was made to order. Figure even if I don't use it, it was a way to kick you some money. Charles "Tod" W
quantum has a LOT of different chairs, but their 'ilevel seat lift' is made by one company - unknown if TB4 seating is super different.. i'd assume the electronics are gonna be similar.. who knows! lol thanks for the support tho!
