The aphogee 2 step protein treatment works and is amazing when it comes to stopping breakage in its tracks. I'm a regular user of it and it works the way it was designed to work. The negative comments you've read about the treatment are folks that didn't either like the smell, are protein sensitive or didn't do the treatment right. The protein in the treatment really stops breakage and lasts for 6 weeks once applied. Those other protein treatments and hair masks on the market wash out with a couple of washes. I just thought I'd defend the 2 step treatment because it really works when you do it correctly and soften the hair with a good moisturizer afterwards. I'd say from my personal experience It contributed to my length retention.big time. Please try it and see for yourself.

@@maicaknight1008I used UBH Satin Cream and UBH Silky Spray. They're not in production right now because she doesn't have a manufacturer to make her products. The last one was charging her too much to make them. I'm currently using Camille Rose products and they work well too.

The women making the negative comments about her hair are those jealous types that will try to use anything they can in order to attempt to put someone down,we all know those types, they are just mad because they probably want to be as pretty you but just don't got it and they know it

I love all your hair tutorial videos, it's been more informative than the advice I would get from any hairdresser. Finally I'm starting to understand what my hair needs and what ingredients I need to eliminate from certain products I buy. I actually got a journal now which I will be following. From the advice you have given I'm already noticing a difference. Thank you so much and God bless you! All the way from the UK :-)

New subbie!! I am actually using mostly aphogee products and love the line. I actually do use the two step protein treatment on my hair about once/month and usually try to do it with the first wash after my first relaxer and it works very well on my hair. I will also use it the last wash about a week before my relaxer. The key is to not comb or manipulate it when it's drying and to go back with a very good deep conditioner under a dryer for at least 30 minutes. I will also do it if I notice breakage and/or shedding. Once I get new growth I will generally avoid it on the new growth except near the line of demarcation of my perm/new growth. I usually stretch 4-5 months at a time...so glad to have found your channel. As soon as I find someone with healthy long relaxed hair it seems like they go natural lol😑

ALONG WITH GETTING OFF THE BIRTH CONTROL, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU COULD RECOMMEND FOR ME? I AM GOING TO BE PURCHASING THE LINE ABOVE THAT YOU RECOMMENDED TO SEE IF THAT LINE WILL WORK FOR ME! THANK YOU!!

I just want to say thank you so much for putting up a video like this because I have been looking everywhere to find some products for my damaged relaxed hair I'm 22 and I have been relaxed since a Kidd but now as an young adult my hair has been shedding so much and my hair and ends be so dry and brittle I did but my hair in 2013 it's 2015 and my hair rarely grew back I'm not big on hair products I just see something and pick it up and use it and hope it worked but lately I have been doing my research on what helps my hair and what don't then I came across your video about this line I do remember way back my mom did have a few bottles around the house but never knew much about it to use it but from watching your video and hearing the same thing about your hair and how mines is acting I definitely have to try these products when I go to the bss soon but I did want to know what products can I use for deep conditions, co wash, and how often will I have to use the hair mayonnaise!?

I really like the 2 step protein. I did not use it properly in the late 90's and did not benefit from it, and I feel like a lot of ladies who doesn't like the product maybe making the same mistake I did. Around 2010 I saw Ateeya's regimen and read the mixed reviews afterwards. You MUST use a moisturizing conditioner AFTER the 2 step hard protein treatment. I combine a non-protein conditioner with the Balance Conditioner right afterwards and have reap the benefits of this product. Avoid conditioners that says: keratin, strengthening, repairing, rebuilding, hydrolyzed protein because that is just adding MORE protein to the 2 step process and you need moisture. I use it every 6-8 weeks and I am careful not to use it before 6 weeks after my last treatment.

  • @thatlovegirl12

I've been using Aphogee since 2004. It works great on relaxed and natural have. Also, ladies do not be afraid of the two step protein treatment. I love it. I use it every 6 weeks. I cut my hair to shoulder length in January 2016 and I am current full bra strap length as of May 2017. I plan to reach waist length soon and I know these products will help me reach my goal.

I agree with what u r saying and I used the whole line starting out too my relaxed hair grew from neck length to waist length I'm now natural but I gave myself a healthy trim and than started with the products.... I don't think u should say no chop needed because there's no product that will fix damage and split ends at all...but u can grow it out n gradually cut but why hang on to damaged hair I was one of them who hung on to thin see through hair just for length I see it all over RUclips. health over length is my motto. Some ppl might need a big chop some ppl may not but I do think if ppl want to start this healthy hair journey thing out and start the products get yourself a healthy trim.

Paulena White hmmmm i definitely can see your point for the big chop however i was one of those ppl who did not want the big chop and decided to grow out most of my relaxed hair.. after 2 years of being natural i got a relaxer during & that time is when i clipped those dead ends and started a new healthy relaxed hair journey.. The thing that gets me at time is when i run into some one who did the big chop because they did not know of other options other than the big chop and starting over.. much luv hun i appreciate your thoughts xoxoxoxo :)

I recently just relaxed my hair and my hair dresser told me from where my new growth ended my hair was getting thin should u do the big chop like into a pixie cut and start all over or would the aphoege treatment work?

Thx for the video boo. Those of you with the rude comments just know that Lashayla is a very confident young lady so those lil stupid wanna be insults aren't doing anything. I'm sure she appreciates the views though.

*ApogheeTwo Step* has been a consistently well-favored product. It *is* strong; it will make the hair hard. So the 2nd step is the *Balancing Moisturizer* .
