I had no idea what ALT text was, and I was like what does she mean lol I researched it and I am definitely going to start using it! For those that don’t know, alt text is used with screen reading technology for the visually impaired, it describes images the images to them. I am DEFINITELY going to use this💖 thanks love! I’m glad you’ve found it useful Djulia! ✨ You can double click on the three dots right next to the specific view, you’ll be able to edit the name. I simply click Win + . (dot) on my keyboard to pull up an emoji board and enter it from there. You can also copy and paste the emoji there to use as an icon. If you’re using the Notion app on your phone, you can go to edit the view name the same way and then enter an emoji from your keyboard. I hope that explains things! 😊

You’re so welcome Christie! ✨ Yes, everything you input into Notion is stored there so you can search for old posts. You can even add a tag to the posts that can potentially be reused later and create a new view with a filter to show only these reusable posts. Very helpful for when you’re in need of a super quick post!

Glad you’ve enjoyed it! ✨ Yes, absolutely, it’s all free to use. Notion is paid only if you want to upload unlimited files (you can only upload files that are up to 5MB), if you want to share things with more than 5 guests or if you want to collaborate in a team. For individuals, it’s a free tool!

Great question, Juliette! It is mostly copy & paste when scheduling ahead of time but if you're moving things over from Notion to post straight away, I use the Notion app on my phone. I download the images from Notion through the app and copy paste from there which is super easy for me this way.

You can plan everything in Notion but there is no way to directly post from Notion to socials as it's not a scheduling app but a project management tool. You have to do it manually yourself. You can either upload everything manually to scheduling apps like Later which post them automatically for you at a chosen time or do it yourself just before you post. This is why I mentioned the Notion app in the comments before. If I don't schedule content ahead of time, I pull up my Notion app on my phone, download the photo from there, upload it to Instagram and copy the caption/hashtags from Notion to Instagram. Then hit post manually.

How to you create the filters to pull up the content pieces based on what task still needs to be done for it? Ie "Needs Caption, images, hash tags or alt text?" Also how do you make it show the gallery view and just the ideas table? Also how to I add/create my own pillars? I have figured them out but want to put them in the program.
For the filters: To the right of your database, you can click Filter and then Status. From there, you choose the status you need (like Needs Caption etc.) and it’s going to only show those entries there. For Gallery or Table view: Not sure what you’re trying to achieve specifically, but you can create those views by hitting a plus sign next to the default view right below the database name. From there, you’ll be able to choose a gallery, a table or any other type of view. For pillars: I like to add those to my properties as shown in the video. You can access those by getting into any of the cards/pages created within the calendar (so your posts essentially!). When you’re in your post view, you can click Add a Property under the other properties like status etc. Choose Multi-select, change the name to Pillars, click next to your new property, and start typing out your own pillars. It’s quite tough to explain it all without showing it but I hope it helps, Michelle!

Hi Piyasi, you schedule posts to get published automatically from planning tools like Notion or Asana. Once you have your posts ready, you need to schedule them through an app like Later. From there you’ll be able to link all your accounts and choose which post goes to which platforms.

Hey Carmen, I've just double-checked the link and it is still absolutely valid. It takes you to my Notion template and you need to click Duplicate in the top right corner to add it to your Notion workspace before you can edit anything. Hope it helps! Think about whether your audience on Instagram and Facebook is in fact the same. If not, you may change things up a bit. As an example, as a graphic designer, you could post your recent work and wins on Facebook and showcase the process and behind the scenes on Instagram. I hope this helps! 😊

Hi Piyasi, you schedule posts to get published automatically from planning tools like Notion or Asana. Once you have your posts ready, you need to schedule them through an app like Later. From there you’ll be able to link all your accounts and choose which post goes to which platforms.

Hey Carmen, I've just double-checked the link and it is still absolutely valid. It takes you to my Notion template and you need to click Duplicate in the top right corner to add it to your Notion workspace before you can edit anything. Hope it helps! Thanks for the question, Carlos! ✋ I know it might be time consuming to create original content for both platforms so if you don't have the time to do it, just post the same content. Think about whether your audience on Instagram and Facebook is in fact the same. If not, you may change things up a bit. As an example, as a graphic designer, you could post your recent work and wins on Facebook and showcase the process and behind the scenes on Instagram. I hope this helps! 😊

You speak very clearly but it took me a second to figure out what you were saying on a previous video and I'm Irish. I just thought it would be especially hard for an American since they don't use 'wee' at all
