I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it! Just so you know, I also have a newer version of this tutorial with more up to date information on the features: ruclips.net/video/tsQtwbY0yf4/видео.html&ab_channel=NataliaKalinska
You are amazing!! thank you! I have watched over how many weeks and brought many online courses on how to use this and I have watched you for 11.55 and I its made sense and I have created my first content calendar and first task!! You explain it so well!
That’s so great to hear Janice! ✨🥰 I’m happy you’ve finally found the answers here and that you’ve already started applying them. Good luck on your content journey 🍀
I was researching different project management tools for my freelance work since it's scaling and you've sold me on Asana. Thanks for this great tutorial!
You're very welcome, Therese! You can do it from within the task and attach it by clicking the paper clip icon at the top of the task. You then can view all the files for the entire project in the Files tab in the project itself. Hope it helps!
Yes, absolutely! This is a computer-based tutorial, but the principles apply to using both an mobile app and a web Asana option. Let me know how you get on Marina!
This was a helpful video!👍 I just started to use asana to help me organize my social media strategy. I'm my own team lol. Do you know if there is a way to color code individual tasks in asana?
I’m so happy it was useful to you, Stephanie! ✨ You can use project labels or tags to color code the tasks. They won’t appear as colored tabs, but as little colorful labels next to the task name.
You're very welcome, Bert! And yes, you absolutely can synchronize Asana with Outlook. You can do it either for a project or the My Task tab. You can read more about it here: asana.com/guide/help/api/calendar-sync
Great Video. Thanks so much. One question: seeing as the task disappears when you mark it as complete, is there a place to see all your completed tasks?
Have a question, can you link your todo or task with a contact so you can get a phone number, all my todo require me to call someone on that leg of the task. Example order a starter for a company, the company is in my google conatacts I do not want to keep looking it up
Hi Kennedy! You can color code them with the projects (so as you mention the different boards/lists etc) or by adding tags to them as well. You can create a tag by clicking on the three dots on the task and selecting Add Tags. There’s also a shortcut for it which is Tab + T. Hope it helps! 👍😄
@@NataliaKalinska I am trying to set up roles and responsibilities on my Asana and would like to see all my staff tasks in one calendar to include. Recurring tasks
Hi Natalie, great video! I just signed up for free trial to explore the tool using the project I’m working on, which involve multiple functions. Do I need to set up all the functions as different teams? Or something else? Thanks in advance for your help.
If you have one team that deals with all the different parts of the business, you can leave it under one team. However, if there are some people involved in different sections of the business and they don't normally interact that much, I'd create separate teams.
Hello Natalia, Could you tell me please, how can I convert my work on Asana into a link, or a page to use as a part of my portfolio for potential clients? Is there a specific procedure for that? Thank you for your great representing
Great video and many thanks but you were moving too much between the screen and yourself which was a bit annoying . Could you please just stick to the screen even when you are explaining? Thanks
I’m glad you’ve found it useful, Fender! That was my very first video so I’ve definitely changed the way I do tutorials now :) I completely get how this way would be distracting.
I didn’t get value from this because it was too dumbed down. I suppose I was looking less for a tutorial that walks through the product features, and more a high level picture about what Asana can do, why to use it, and what sort of functionality a power user gets from it.
It is a tutorial for beginners so my aim was to teach how to use Asana and explain basic functionalities. I’ll definitely consider making something a bit more advanced with a good overview of different applications of Asana.
Great easy to follow tutorial. Thank you.

I’ve just released an updated version of this video for 2023 so this might be worth a watch!
Loved this video and I was able to follow along as I entered in tasks on my own Asana
That’s so great to hear! ✨ I always try to make tutorials that are easy to follow so I’m happy you were able to work it out along the way! 🙌
Thanks for the Great Tutorial, Well explained...

Używam tego filmu do szkolenia swoich chińskich pracowników. Dziękuje.
Cała przyjemność po mojej stronie! Cieszę się, że to wideo pomaga szerszemu gronu ❤️
Great video. Thanks for making and sharing.
By the way, was I the only one waiting for Natalia to accidentally knock the green plant off of her desk?
Hahaha, the perks of having a wobbly desk + overactive hands 😅 So happy to hear the video was helpful to you, Ben! ✨
Wonderful video! How do you get an underline on your "My Tasks" sections??
Glad you think so, Christine! ✨ I believe it changed since I recorded this video and the underline sections are no longer available.
@@NataliaKalinska 'thank you for following up so quickly!"
My pleasure, Christine!

Hi, from Philippines! Your videos are awesome. ❤️
Hey Hailey, all the best from Scotland! Happy to hear you're enjoying the videos! 💗🙏
Thank you for the intro video. How do I send / attach files to the team?
You're very welcome, Therese! You can do it from within the task and attach it by clicking the paper clip icon at the top of the task. You then can view all the files for the entire project in the Files tab in the project itself. Hope it helps!
All the tutorials I find are focused to cellular phones... Do all these things work the same on a computer set up?
Yes, absolutely! This is a computer-based tutorial, but the principles apply to using both an mobile app and a web Asana option. Let me know how you get on Marina!
This was a helpful video!👍

Hi Natalia, thanks for the video, very informative. Can you tell me if Asana can be synchronized with the outlook agenda? Greetings, Bert
Yes, there is a filter drop down for Completed tasks.
That's precisely how you do it!
excellent presentation

Thank you so much it has been really useful for me .
Brilliant Mohammed! I'm so glad to hear this 😃
Thank you for this. I do not see the "progress" tab on the top of the screen. Am I missing something?
It's actually no longer there! You can go to the first tab which is Overview and have the progress options from before there. Hope it helps!
Hi! how do you color code the different task? is it only if I have different boards that can be different colors?
Hi Kennedy! You can color code them with the projects (so as you mention the different boards/lists etc) or by adding tags to them as well. You can create a tag by clicking on the three dots on the task and selecting Add Tags. There’s also a shortcut for it which is Tab + T. Hope it helps! 👍😄

Hello Somaya, I don't think this is possible, unless I'm not aware of an integration with another app that would allow you to do that.
