Aizen couldn't put a scratch yhwach. Only ichigo has the ap capable of actually damaging the quincy king. Kyoka suigetsu was his saving grace. Even then the moment yhwach realizes he's unde it, he breaks it and puts a hole through aizen. Aizen is powerful but he's not on sk yhwachs level.
Tommo if the anime is made as an complemente to the manga, it is obivous that Yuha will win, he stated that he can kill Aizen and the only reason he do not do it for now is it will take time and in that momente he dont have the time nescessary to do this.

Aizens Bankai is the biggest variable here imo, so frustrating we have literally no clue what it could be. Aizen's Bankai augmented by the Hyogyoku could be something insane.
Honestly it would have been cool if it worked like izanagi. Where his shikai puts his opponent in a illusion his bankai would make his illusions reality. I guess similar to Grammy but not in a way where your are limited by imagination.
I feel like it couldve been a factor, but if he didnt use it in the battle against what is essentially God, whose whole plan was to assimilate and merge the worlds, then it might be one of those ones that requires a very specific situation to be used in.

Kubo should have just put it in seeing as he wrote himself into a corner with the arrow and ichigo cutting him in half. Obviously had time constraints but if there was a time, this would have been it. Really didn’t like how ichigo bankai was never explained or if he got another ability. Hopefully we’ll get something in the anime
For what he mentioned, his Bankai isn't at variable anymore, he fused completely with his sword, meaning he was already at his peak shinigami power. So a Bankai would be like descending in powe level
An Aizen video will always get a thanks from me. As for the illusion being broken after Aizen gets stabbed, maybe it’s because the same rule still applies that if you’re touching his zanpakuto it’s power stops working on you. And since him and his zanpakuto are one now, that means touching him. Unfortunately I think you’re right that he would probably lose to Ywach in a 1v1 lol, but I choose to believe that his Bankai was his real Ace card that he never had to use. Maybe it’s something like a “Shatter” ability like what you said in your Aizens bankai theories video. I could totally see him holding up his sword and saying “Bankai… now Revolt, Kyoka Suigetsu” giving him the power to shatter any ability that tries to assert control over him. Like Ywachs almighty power to choose his future. That would also play into Aizens character of not accepting anyone ruling over him or choosing his future.
I hope they leave it to be a surprise. And not spoil it in the trailer like Shinji's. It wouldav been so awesome seeing him use bankai out of nowhere but we're going into the second cour expecting Shinji's Bankai.
I think it will be changed and greatly expanded upon. Just look what the anime did with ichigo and Yhwachs first encounter, went from one attack in the manga to a whole fight, and showed a new move from Yhwach. It’s safe to say that the last fight will get the same treatment
You should do a video discussing whether or not Renji was even there at the final fight. After Aizen is removed from the battlefield he isn't seen again. Renji likely wouldn't even be able to hurt Yhwach at this point and Yhwach notes that Aizen wouldn't protect Renji. Aizen wouldn't do this, we even directly see him attack a shinigami previously in the arc. I suspect Renji never joined the fight against Yhwach, simply Kyoka suigetsu made an image of Renji in Yhwach's mind.

We all know how Bankai work with being broken, however Orihime could still probably heal his bankai as she did with Ichigos. Especially after Yhwach is defeated. Tsukishima could create another new timeline that wasn't affected by Yhwach's changes. Renjis only contribution is when he gets his arm cut off and gets blown away, however Aizen is then missing his left arm so we KNOW in this instance it was Aizen looking like Renji because of KS
With the way the anime handled the Yamamoto versus Fake Juha battle. I hope Aizen versus Juha gets a full or at least sizeable portion of the episode dedicated to it.
Seeing how rushed the manga was, there's a chance we could maybe get a look at Aizen's bankai in the anime. Won't be this season though if it gets animated.

Remember that Ywach pierced Aizen’s body so he comes into contact with the KS core power which dispels the illusion. The same reason why Yama knew it was Aizen when he was pierced by the sword or why the illusion ended when Halli was hit by it. Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to assume that the same thing happened when Aizen was pierced by Ywach.
Of course is too broken and I'm glad that Kubo make it op the way it is because comes from the creator of Bleach verse, Soul King alive was probably close to omnipotence.
A couple of thoughts about this prompt. Firstly, I think maybe because Yhwach was touching Aizen, it counts as Kyoka Suigetsu's weakness. It's speculation of course, but Aizen did fuse with his blade so perhaps grabbing Aizen now removes the illusion. Second, I think if push came to shove, and with Aizen being the last bastion, the Hogyoku would wake up to make Aizen evolve again if Aizen really wished to protect his Soul Society, but more refined possibly. Maybe it would be where Aizen's beyond bankai form comes in lol.
The reason why Aizen shikai ended in this particular moment is because Gin Ichimaru said it himself. If you touch kyoka suigetsu you aren’t effected by it. Aizen literally fused with his sword. So if you touch him the effect fades. Yhwach was touching him continuously while he was impaled. That’s my theory.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need to touch it before you fall under its spell? Like once you fall under Kanzen Saimen, it cant be undone unless Aizen chooses to undo it. Touching KS should only make it so you cant fall under Kanzen Saimen in the first place, IIRC

I might be wrong here but I assumed that Kyouka Suigetsu's general weakness was the same as Tousen's, that anyone directly touching the blade could see through its effects. That's why his deception is always revealed when he retaliates and cuts someone, because in that moment he's touched them with his blade. It makes sense that when Yamamoto was stabbed by him, and Aizen asked how he knew he was real, Yama said "I could never mistake this riatsu in my gut" (something like that). Based on that observation, Gin made sure to touch Kyouka Suigetsu before activating his own Bankai when he attacked Aizen in the real Kurakura Town... Given that Aizen kinda fused with Kyouka Suigetsu and his shown both using and not using a physical blade against Ywach, and puts Ywach under Kyouka Suigetsu without the physical blade in Muken, I'd assumed that Kyoka Suigetsu's weakness transfered to his whole body. Ywach could finally see through the illusion because he put his hand through Aizen's chest, therefore touching Kyouka Sugeitsu. Up until that point, Aizen had been foghting with Kido and I dont think they made physical contact... When Ywach says Kyouka Suigetsu was undone, that may have been either because he had literally punched through it or because he technically died. I could be entirely wrong here (maybe my memory is inaccurate) but that's always how i interpreted that fight.
He never really broke out the hypnosis.... And also you have to touch his (Aizen) zanpakuto before he activates it... But during the fight he had it active ALL the time
@@rein1329 Yet he still touched it before attacking Aizen. And Yamamoto said he could feel Aizen's/Kyouka Suigetsu's riatsu through the sword when he was stabbed. That statement and Gin's actions make it evident that he touching the sword provide some protection against it.

A couple of corrections: 1. The Kurohitsugi Aizen did on himself back in the Shinigami HQ wasn't full power since he didn't do the incantations. 2. Aizen does regenerate. The last chapter of Bleach showed Aizen with all his injuries gone. And although this isn't really a correction but rather a speculation, I'd like to think what caused KS to deactivate was Yhwach physically touching Aizen. It's pretty much known that Aizen fused with his zanpakuto and since he already used KS on Yhwach before off of a look, then it's safe to assume the weakness of KS is also essentially imbedded into Aizen as well. If touching the zanpakuto before makes one immune to the illusions, then perhaps touching Aizen's current form would be the same.
The Almighty has the ability to see and alter the future; he was put under its spell before he attained The Almighty, and therefor, he can't change being under its spell, as all futures he is apart of are are preceded by their interaction where he is put under the spell of KS. That being said, with Aizen, he's really beyond logic, and could have made that the illusion he wanted Ywach to see, in order to instill a false sense of hope.
@@--...--...--... How i see it, the Almighty can't distinguish illusions between reality because at the end of the day, both are still possible futures in his visions. I don't think it's necessarily because he was placed under the spell prior to activating his Almighty. Plus, KS deactivating soon after Yhwach stabbed Aizen kinda suggests that touching the latter did indeed do something to the spell. But again, that's just my interpretation, yours is ok as well.

Aizen is not in fact immortal. When u get back into Yhwach's first meeting with Sosuke he stated that killing him could have taken a lot of time and this was kind of the reason why Yhwach wanted to convince Aizen to side with him. So once again -He is not in fact immortal.

It's no argument that "if SK empowered Yhwach couldnt do that then who can". Yhwach clearly HAD a method. I mean there's no point to even argue it. I don't even know what an argument that is. FYI almighty Yhwach couldn't achieve his goals after all and got defeated as a result by the combined forces of Ryuken, Ichigo and Aizen. So it's not even an argument. Yhwach (as tite kubo stated in the moment I mentioned) HAD a way. It was just too time consuming. and the almighty "aspect" of yhwach is not an argument. Due to his ultimate defeat at the end :p Hogyoku is after all a thing that was out of reach for Soul King aswell one could say that it's even an anomaly. If you use the same logic u brought then ask urself why didn't Yhwach achieve his goals with his Soul King-empowered form? If he was so powerful. It's just invalid logic. Aizen's immortality was granted to extreme extend by Hogyoku, and u can clearly tell Yhwach had a method, was willing to carry over aizen to his side cause considered it as a threat. One of the special war threads. Just cause of that, and since time was a limiting factor that ultimately doomed him well u can clearly see why he did not bother with it.
21:14 you mentioning the vengeful souls of the quincies Yhwach has killed makes me hope that when the anime gets to it, we get see the spirits of all the quincies Yhwach turned his back on showing up and visually pulling him down. It'd be nice to see Misaki and Katagiri show up one last time to help out their sons.
I think I may know why the illusion is broken. As you mentioned the illusion is broken on Halibel and Hitsuguya as well, and the reason IS because they are getting hit. Remember the weakness of his Zanpakto is that, when someone is touching it they can’t be effected. So even when someone is slashed with it, technically they are in contact with his sword so the illusion will be broken. And after Aizen became a butterfly his Zanpakto fused with him if I remember correctly. So when Uha stabbed him with his arm he is in contact with the Zanpakto in a way so the illusion is worn off.
Aizen’s the only character that you cannot be that mad about somebody saying “we didn’t see him going all out, so we do not know.”, he never used his bankai, he lost because apparently he wanted to lose according to Ichigo, he was not thinking properly, he was hardly even thinking logically, he was acting more like Kenpachi. Also he can adapt, and make it so his power can surpass his foes. I could actually see him killing or absorbing Yhwach, and possibly gaining his brave souls 6th anniversary design.
But don't forget as well they was nerfing a good portion of his spiritual pressure cause remember when he wanted to get out of the chair or shoot down the sole king's palace the captain of squad 12 as well as the captain of squad 8/1 captain kyorraku explained to him he has limiters put in place internally that limited his abilities so What you saw and what he did in hado number 90 who's to say that's the strongest output he could have done with that? Also Yhwach made it perfectly clear it would be difficult for him to kill him so at a certain point he would have to put himself in a predicament that would put him in a range of being attacked or fatally wounded by Aizen,since he's fused with the Hyokoku
@@colgatemlp6368 it’s unlikely, he didn’t just master everything the shimigami’s had to learn, but he evolved beyond it. That, and he’s a pure genius who experimented on the evolution between Quincy’s, hollows, and soul reapers. It’s hard to do that if you cannot even evolve the shimigami side.
Ichigo didn't say Aizen lost because he wanted to lose, he said he returned to being a normal shinigami because that's what he wanted deep down, I don't think Aizen could have killed Yhwach precisely because of that, he returned to being a normal shinigami, and the fact that he banked on Ichigo finishing the job instead of doing it himself proves he couldn't have done it.
Gin explained perfectly why the illusion drops when Aizen attacks. You're in contact with his blade and the effects are dispelled when in contact with Kyoka Suigetdu
I think it's worth mentioning that even without the chair, Aizen is still under a bunch of bindings. Shunsui only unlocked 3 of the... like 20 seals, if the floor in chapter 617 is all of them. Even Aizen's _clothes_ were built to bind his reiatsu. We're still seeing a fairly restricted Aizen during his fight with Bachi.
This is something people never mention it seems like they do forget about it unless I’m forgetting they mention it don’t affect him but it’s highly likely that he is still being held back and that in reality it’s only like 5% of his power

i was under the impression that Aizen still had the majority of his power "Sealed". Wasn't that what the eye patch and parts of his clothing (like the straps on his arms, ect.) were supposed to symbolize? i always thought the reason Aizen wasnt able to beat Ywach with just his spiritual pressure alone was because of that, and that was the real reason why Ywach made him a special threat because of his spiritual pressure.

Sure if we're talking him at max power(having absorbed the Soul King). That's just not really fair. However, I think Aizen might win against him without the Soul Kings power. Though it really depends on how much the Soul Kings power buffed the Almighty which is hard to guess.
I think it goes back to what gin said about touching kyoka suigetsu. Once you touch the blade maybe the illusion ends in the same way that gin mentioned.
14:40 it probably is breaking the illusion since the weakness of Kiyoka Suigetsu is that its effect is cancelled when u touch its blade like gin did, meaning if Aizen cuts you, you would be touching his blade, cancelling the effect.
I feel like Kyoka Suigetsu stopped because Yhwach was touching Aizen himself, and touching the sword was originally the way to nullify it, so now it might be his body as they fused together, meaning Yhwach is technically touching Kyoka Suigetsu, therefor nullifying it.

It's hard to say. Aizen's Shikai alone is able to stand against literal omniscient powers. If his Shikai is that strong, just what the hell is Aizen's Bankai?
My guess is that the whole reason why KS worked against Yuha in the first place is because he put Yuha under his spell prior to Yuha getting The Almighty.
the thing about aizens bankai is that the potential is limitless. it could nullify all power exept his own, it could destroy everything in a instant, it could make everything happen within a instant, hell, it could prolly do all 3 and use every single shikai, bankai, ressurecion, schrift, and voltstanding ability or it could just not be correlated to his shikai at all we prolly WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT HIS BANKAI DOES
Gin explained the only way to get around Aizen’s total hypnosis is to be in physical contact with his blade, so it would make since that once he strikes someone with it the illusion would dissipate .
Unless Aizen’s Bankai is too become Tite Kubo, the Almighty Rules All. Even if some possibilities are false because of Aizen, Bach sees all possibilities as grains of sand. Ichigo’s enemies each presented a part of Ichigo’s history. Aizen - Controller of the Past Ginjou - Controller of the Present Bach - Controller of the Future Unless ALL possible Outcomes lead to Bach’s Defeat. Aizen will lose to Bach and since both are immortal, both will just eventually rejuvenate.
Great vid but without Aiken’s bankai, without those seals taken off. And in the actual situation where its just Aizen (he doesnt sense ichigo arriving) so, he in his own mind, would know he has to stop yhwach. Therefore his will would change, which would likely cause a different response from the hogyoku, we can never know. Did I mention Aizen has a bankai? An aizen stalling, with a hogyoku not sensing Aizen himself needing to do the entire killing by himself, knowing Kubo wasn’t going to make Aizen’s bankai appear so its as if he doesnt have one IS DIFFERENT to what AIzen could have theoretically done completely unbound. Unfortunately nothing except the stillsilver arrow can stop Yhwach at this point. Aizen could tag team with Urahara, Kisuke, Zaraki, Ichiho, Kyoraku, Renji; the list goes on, and nothing would change. Yhwach can simply revive himself from another timeline. That is how insanely broken his power is. Only through the stillsilver arrow does The Almighty stop working for a brief moment. That is the only window of opportunity where he can be killed.
You know honestly thinking. Couldn’t he just think of a timeline where he brings himself back ever after being hit by the arrow, and that would explain why he actually did it
The illusion never ended until after the real ichigo arrived. Juha was still seeing ichigo even as Ichigo ran Juha through. It was just Kubos way of revealing to us the readers that it was really Aizen the whole time so we wouldnt be confused. Because some readers were actually still confused after the fact. Some readers still believed the Renji and Ichigo were there fighting alongside Aizen and didn't even catch on weeks after the manga chapter. Juha was still seeing Aizen up until Ichigo ran him through. Or perhaps the whole touching Kyoka Sueigetsu started to reveal the true Aizen since they were touching each other. Although Juha wasn't touching the blade, Aizen is fused with his zanpakuto so maybe touching him was enough to slowly reveal the true auzen.

That’s why the illusion shatters every time someone is being stabbed. So now that Aizen has fused with his zanpakutto touching Aizen is the equivalent of touching the blade so the illusion shatters again
I really like the notion of Aizen deactivating his shikai on purpose after thinking they had won. It would say a lot about him as a character. Not only that he was overconfident. But it also kinda shows trust towards Ichigo in that he dropped all illusions and isn’t trying to pull anything funny. Which would be huge for Aizen bc pulling one over on people is literally his whole deal.

They don't affect his output or power... Hence why the kido corps member almost disintegrated when trying get close and touch Aizen.. His reaitsu is still transedent like it was after fusing with the Hogyoku
I think Aizen was able to easily win each time since the beginning of the story but needed to make sure than the Hell arc and Burn the witch stories happen for his ultimate goal
The way I interpreted was since Yhwach "died" the effects of Kyouka suigetsu's had worn off and once revived it doesn't affect Yhwach anymore and Aizen would have to hypnotize Yhwach again

That would defeat the purpose, the reason yhwach even lost was because of his obsession with ichigos despair, not because someone overpowered him. Giving them bankais and making the bankais the reason yhwach loses would defeat the point of the story
I think the illusion ends WITHOUT Aizen wanting it to end because it is how his power works now, after being fused with his Zanpaktou. Remember how Gin said the only way to not be under Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis is by touching the blade? Well, he fused with his blade, and that fusion was never undone. His blade may have "disappeared" but where did it "reappear" from if he had been tied up to the chair? It has to be because he is fused and can make it appear whenever. This would also be consistent with the earlier pre-Hyogoku battles, like when he stabs Harribel from behind and she then can see he is behind and not in front.
Aizen's "Come at me Bro" pose still cracks me up. I'm hardpressed to think what he could've done exactly since the Stihl Silver arrow was the only thing that seem to have any real effect on Yhwach but the thing is Aizen's black outfit is a bunch of seals right? Yhwach’s first attempt to kill Aizen resulted in him being accidentally freeing Aizen from the chair. Yhwach’s second attempt just resulted in KS being used on the Almighty. Yhwach’s 3rd attempt managed to temporarily immobilize Aizen the same way Ichigo did with the final Getsuga Tensho…..but as we all saw…Aizen came back Like he always does. At his strongest state he couldn’t permanently kill Aizen. Eventually Aizen would evolve to a state stronger than Yhwach. Might take a while…but Aizen is a patient man that doesn’t mind waiting for his plans to work out. Regardless…let’s not forget that KS was strong enough to do 2 things to the almighty: 1)Affect the Almighty’s sight of the future 2) Tricking Yhwach’s Almighty into thinking it’s fighting 3 people when it’s just 1 person.

Pretty Yhwach intentionally destroyed the chair and wasn't aiming his attack specifically at Aizen... Even if you try to deny its easily provable as Yhwach was able to effortlessly damage Aizen punching a hole and ripping off his arm...if he's able to damage after he is free from the chair. why wouldn't he able to damage Aizen when he is restrained to the chair and can't move? That makes no sense

I agree Aizen aint winning it 1v1 unless his Bankai is secretly cracked or the Hogyoku wakes back up to evolve him. But i dont think Uryus silver arrow was particularly needed, i imagine Kubo had other plans to defeat Yhwach originally and that was just his way to end the series faster. I think Uryu using the antithesis or something would help. So question is more so could Aizen, Ichigo, and Uryu best Yhwach with no silver arrow? Or could like the 5 great war powers beat Yhwach? No, it was always going to have to be a group effort to take Yhwach down. Aizen is definitely powerful enough to still scrap with and give Yhwach the runaround which is a feat in and of itself compared to how easily endgame Yhwach stomps anything and everything except the original Soul King, but just like Ichigo couldn’t do it own his own, neither could Aizen. Hence why he stalled long enough for Ichigo to land that critical blow… before the mfer REWROTE HIS OWN DEATH!

Aizen's illusions disappear because when you come into contact with Kyouka Suigetsu, the illusion dissipates. Gin Ichimaru tells us this before it can be activated, however. But it's just a reasonable assumption that coming into contact with the blade breaks the illusion.
I had always thought of it another way, Gin tells us that the only way to tell if you're under the effect or not, is touching Aizen's blade, and since he'd absorbed his zanpalto then touching him should still show you the truth, at least that was my thought, and I thought Urahara got the hogyoku out of Aizen when the sealing spell he put on him went into affect. Maybe that was anime only but i could swear there was a scene of him holding it after that weird thorned cross was there
I don’t think so. The Aizen we see fight Yhwach was at his full power using everything at his disposal and he still couldn’t even touch Yhwach. Because of the power of the SK enhanced Almighty, even if there was a modicum of chance that Aizen could be victorious, all Yhwach would have to do would be to rewrite the future. I know alot of hardcore Aizen fans always mention the hogyoku and evolution, but not only did he NOT evolve in this fight against the strongest person he’s ever fought, but he got overwhelmed and was eventually knocked unconscious due to the assimilating process. This matchup is the unstoppable force vs the immovable obstacle through and through. Aizen and Ichigo were basically fighting God and were losing handily until the still silver was involved.

His whole “no one rules over me” attitude and defiance were the main reasons he chose to oppose Yhwach in the first place. Remember, everything Yhwach had done while infiltrating the royal realm is what Aizen had intended to do as well, at least with the exception of merging the worlds, whereas Aizen wanted to stand in heaven and prove his point. Narratively, it makes zero sense for Aizen to be like “hmm, my greatest foe is right before me, but I have no desire to actually stop him from getting what he wants. Better not evolve.”
Aizen said he fused with his zanpakto, maybe his whole body is now part of the weakness Gin pointed out, when Yuha pierced Aizens chest, he was touching kyoka suigetsu thus cancelling its power and reveiling the truth. The second possibility is just to make a surprising panel.
Even gin said yes kyoka suigetsu is a terrifying power no doubt but that's not why all the espadas fear and respect aizen, they fear and respect him because of his overwhelming power and speed, if it was just for his shikai they wouldn't respect him so much but even aizen knows his shikai alone wouldn't be enough to take over the world he needed the hokyugou to actually get more power too to fight people like yama and ichibe those two alone would be enough to earase aizen if didn't get the hokyugou
People are speculating that Uryu's The Antithesis makes him immune to The Almighty however we don't know the exact mechanic of his ability. Jugram with The Almighty couldn't predict Uryu. He even admitted that The Antithesis can be a perfect counter against The Almighty.

Also, i think people forget that Aizen was still partially sealed here. His whole outfit is part of the whole sealing process for him. Nothing is wrong with his eye. My speculation is that the evolving qualities of the hougyoku were sealed at this time. It makes sense that Urahara and the soul society would want to target that aspect of the hougyoku if they couldn't do anything about his body or the hougyoku itself.
Well we know that when it had come to Aizen’s zanpakuto if you placed your hand on it you could not be affected by it’s illusions. Maybe any form of contact, like being slashed by it could do the same. Plus Aizen and his zanpakuto are pretty much one after his battle with Ichigo. Impaling him may have a similar effect then.
that's what I was thinking as well. This seems to be the most plausible answer. since he merged with his zanpakuto - impaling him with his hand basically made Juha Yhwach touch his zanpakuto

I think the thing is different, I don't remember exactly where but I remember that Aizen has been stated to be able to evolve to the point of transcending everything and standing at the same levels of the soul king, If he happened to gain such power while fighting Yhwach then probably not even "the almighty" would have been of help against him
I believe aizen would defeat ywach. Aizen, just like with everyone else he fought, was playing with ywach, testing his power just as Mayuri pointed out when he restricted his power. Plus with the hogyoku aizen has the potential to evolve again, endlessly, I doubt ywach can. Plus aizen still has his bankai, I doubt aizen was losing power and strength, he was too arrogant to take ywach seriously. Once Aizen strikes someone AKA they make contact with the blade the illusion and just like Tousen's Bankai keeping in mind they have the same weakness One of them takes control of all five senses The other one shuts down all five senses these abilities are negated if you are touching (body contact w/ the blade.
In my opinion, Aizen sensed ichigo’s arrival therefore stopping for a moment for what seems as the window he created for ichigo to getsuga tenshou yhwach. After that, they both thought the battle Is over but suddenly yhwach eliminated the big threat of Aizen by absorbing him. If they knew it wasn’t over, there might have been a chance where AiEn would actually have to resort to using his bankai. Just a speculation on my part seeing that Aizen never truly reveals all his cards at once and does so only when absolutely necessary, it’s in his character and his bankai is supposedly his last resort in this situation given that yhwach revived without absorbing Aizen at that very moment.
Ichigo was more of a threat to Yhwach than Aizen ever was, infact, if we are going by the war potential lists, threads 1) Ichigo, 2nd) Kenpachi, 3rd) Ichibe 4th) Aizen, 5th) Urahara. Before Kenpachi lost to Royd, he was the biggest threat to Yhwach and his over all plans. Whether you like it or not or come back with "WEL KENPACHI ISNT EVEN STRONGER THAT ICHIGO OR AIZEN", that is irrelevant because that is exactly how the War Potentials list was written by Kubo himself.

Gin said in his fight with aizen that the only way to cancel the effects of his Zanpakuto was to touch the blade and with all the fusions with the hyogyoku fused him completely with his Zanpakuto
I think the Hogyoku would definitely resurrect Aizen, potentially giving him another crazy transformation. While it may be "dormant" or something following Deicide & his time in Muken, Aizen is still stronger than he was during Deicide. If the fight went down in that way I absolutely think it would become active and start doing the shenanigans we're used to, otherwise when it "rejected" him after Mugetsu it would have popped out of his chest or something right? Here's a basic analogy I thought up in like 2 minutes: From the Hogyoku's perspective, let's say base Aizen was a Dodge Challenger SRT-8/Scat Pack/whatever. It transformed him into a Hellcat and later a Demon, but after his defeat he reverted to a Hellcat Redeye. But it could theoretically turn him into a Demon 170 in this situation. For context, a Hellcat is rated 707hp, Redeye is 797hp, Demon is 808 (I think, and also specialized for drag racing), and the Demon 170 is something like 1025hp? and is strictly a factory drag car.

Aizen couldn't put a scratch yhwach. Only ichigo has the ap capable of actually damaging the quincy king. Kyoka suigetsu was his saving grace. Even then the moment yhwach realizes he's unde it, he breaks it and puts a hole through aizen. Aizen is powerful but he's not on sk yhwachs level.
Tommo if the anime is made as an complemente to the manga, it is obivous that Yuha will win, he stated that he can kill Aizen and the only reason he do not do it for now is it will take time and in that momente he dont have the time nescessary to do this.

Aizens Bankai is the biggest variable here imo, so frustrating we have literally no clue what it could be. Aizen's Bankai augmented by the Hyogyoku could be something insane.
Honestly it would have been cool if it worked like izanagi. Where his shikai puts his opponent in a illusion his bankai would make his illusions reality. I guess similar to Grammy but not in a way where your are limited by imagination.
I feel like it couldve been a factor, but if he didnt use it in the battle against what is essentially God, whose whole plan was to assimilate and merge the worlds, then it might be one of those ones that requires a very specific situation to be used in.
I like to think that Aizen himself is the bankai. He took over the original user who first activated bankai.

For what he mentioned, his Bankai isn't at variable anymore, he fused completely with his sword, meaning he was already at his peak shinigami power. So a Bankai would be like descending in powe level
An Aizen video will always get a thanks from me. As for the illusion being broken after Aizen gets stabbed, maybe it’s because the same rule still applies that if you’re touching his zanpakuto it’s power stops working on you. And since him and his zanpakuto are one now, that means touching him.
Unfortunately I think you’re right that he would probably lose to Ywach in a 1v1 lol, but I choose to believe that his Bankai was his real Ace card that he never had to use. Maybe it’s something like a “Shatter” ability like what you said in your Aizens bankai theories video. I could totally see him holding up his sword and saying “Bankai… now Revolt, Kyoka Suigetsu” giving him the power to shatter any ability that tries to assert control over him. Like Ywachs almighty power to choose his future. That would also play into Aizens character of not accepting anyone ruling over him or choosing his future.

After Aizen is removed from the battlefield he isn't seen again. Renji likely wouldn't even be able to hurt Yhwach at this point and Yhwach notes that Aizen wouldn't protect Renji. Aizen wouldn't do this, we even directly see him attack a shinigami previously in the arc.
I suspect Renji never joined the fight against Yhwach, simply Kyoka suigetsu made an image of Renji in Yhwach's mind.

Remember that Ywach pierced Aizen’s body so he comes into contact with the KS core power which dispels the illusion. The same reason why Yama knew it was Aizen when he was pierced by the sword or why the illusion ended when Halli was hit by it. Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to assume that the same thing happened when Aizen was pierced by Ywach.

A couple of thoughts about this prompt.
Firstly, I think maybe because Yhwach was touching Aizen, it counts as Kyoka Suigetsu's weakness. It's speculation of course, but Aizen did fuse with his blade so perhaps grabbing Aizen now removes the illusion.
Second, I think if push came to shove, and with Aizen being the last bastion, the Hogyoku would wake up to make Aizen evolve again if Aizen really wished to protect his Soul Society, but more refined possibly. Maybe it would be where Aizen's beyond bankai form comes in lol.

The reason why Aizen shikai ended in this particular moment is because Gin Ichimaru said it himself. If you touch kyoka suigetsu you aren’t effected by it. Aizen literally fused with his sword. So if you touch him the effect fades. Yhwach was touching him continuously while he was impaled.
That’s my theory.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need to touch it before you fall under its spell? Like once you fall under Kanzen Saimen, it cant be undone unless Aizen chooses to undo it. Touching KS should only make it so you cant fall under Kanzen Saimen in the first place, IIRC

I might be wrong here but I assumed that Kyouka Suigetsu's general weakness was the same as Tousen's, that anyone directly touching the blade could see through its effects. That's why his deception is always revealed when he retaliates and cuts someone, because in that moment he's touched them with his blade. It makes sense that when Yamamoto was stabbed by him, and Aizen asked how he knew he was real, Yama said "I could never mistake this riatsu in my gut" (something like that). Based on that observation, Gin made sure to touch Kyouka Suigetsu before activating his own Bankai when he attacked Aizen in the real Kurakura Town...
Given that Aizen kinda fused with Kyouka Suigetsu and his shown both using and not using a physical blade against Ywach, and puts Ywach under Kyouka Suigetsu without the physical blade in Muken, I'd assumed that Kyoka Suigetsu's weakness transfered to his whole body. Ywach could finally see through the illusion because he put his hand through Aizen's chest, therefore touching Kyouka Sugeitsu. Up until that point, Aizen had been foghting with Kido and I dont think they made physical contact...
When Ywach says Kyouka Suigetsu was undone, that may have been either because he had literally punched through it or because he technically died.
I could be entirely wrong here (maybe my memory is inaccurate) but that's always how i interpreted that fight.

@@rein1329 Yet he still touched it before attacking Aizen. And Yamamoto said he could feel Aizen's/Kyouka Suigetsu's riatsu through the sword when he was stabbed. That statement and Gin's actions make it evident that he touching the sword provide some protection against it.

A couple of corrections:
1. The Kurohitsugi Aizen did on himself back in the Shinigami HQ wasn't full power since he didn't do the incantations.
2. Aizen does regenerate. The last chapter of Bleach showed Aizen with all his injuries gone.
And although this isn't really a correction but rather a speculation, I'd like to think what caused KS to deactivate was Yhwach physically touching Aizen. It's pretty much known that Aizen fused with his zanpakuto and since he already used KS on Yhwach before off of a look, then it's safe to assume the weakness of KS is also essentially imbedded into Aizen as well. If touching the zanpakuto before makes one immune to the illusions, then perhaps touching Aizen's current form would be the same.
Point 1 is true but clearly he was unable to break out which is why Yhwach had to do it
The Almighty has the ability to see and alter the future; he was put under its spell before he attained The Almighty, and therefor, he can't change being under its spell, as all futures he is apart of are are preceded by their interaction where he is put under the spell of KS.
That being said, with Aizen, he's really beyond logic, and could have made that the illusion he wanted Ywach to see, in order to instill a false sense of hope.

I don't think it's necessarily because he was placed under the spell prior to activating his Almighty. Plus, KS deactivating soon after Yhwach stabbed Aizen kinda suggests that touching the latter did indeed do something to the spell. But again, that's just my interpretation, yours is ok as well.

Aizen is not in fact immortal. When u get back into Yhwach's first meeting with Sosuke he stated that killing him could have taken a lot of time and this was kind of the reason why Yhwach wanted to convince Aizen to side with him. So once again -He is not in fact immortal.

I think I may know why the illusion is broken. As you mentioned the illusion is broken on Halibel and Hitsuguya as well, and the reason IS because they are getting hit. Remember the weakness of his Zanpakto is that, when someone is touching it they can’t be effected. So even when someone is slashed with it, technically they are in contact with his sword so the illusion will be broken. And after Aizen became a butterfly his Zanpakto fused with him if I remember correctly. So when Uha stabbed him with his arm he is in contact with the Zanpakto in a way so the illusion is worn off.
Aizen’s the only character that you cannot be that mad about somebody saying “we didn’t see him going all out, so we do not know.”, he never used his bankai, he lost because apparently he wanted to lose according to Ichigo, he was not thinking properly, he was hardly even thinking logically, he was acting more like Kenpachi. Also he can adapt, and make it so his power can surpass his foes. I could actually see him killing or absorbing Yhwach, and possibly gaining his brave souls 6th anniversary design.
What if aizen never had a bankai, and he used his shikai to make everyone believe he mastered bankai. Just a thought crossed my mind
But don't forget as well they was nerfing a good portion of his spiritual pressure cause remember when he wanted to get out of the chair or shoot down the sole king's palace the captain of squad 12 as well as the captain of squad 8/1 captain kyorraku explained to him he has limiters put in place internally that limited his abilities so What you saw and what he did in hado number 90 who's to say that's the strongest output he could have done with that? Also Yhwach made it perfectly clear it would be difficult for him to kill him so at a certain point he would have to put himself in a predicament that would put him in a range of being attacked or fatally wounded by Aizen,since he's fused with the Hyokoku

Ichigo didn't say Aizen lost because he wanted to lose, he said he returned to being a normal shinigami because that's what he wanted deep down, I don't think Aizen could have killed Yhwach precisely because of that, he returned to being a normal shinigami, and the fact that he banked on Ichigo finishing the job instead of doing it himself proves he couldn't have done it.

I think it's worth mentioning that even without the chair, Aizen is still under a bunch of bindings. Shunsui only unlocked 3 of the... like 20 seals, if the floor in chapter 617 is all of them. Even Aizen's _clothes_ were built to bind his reiatsu. We're still seeing a fairly restricted Aizen during his fight with Bachi.
This is something people never mention it seems like they do forget about it unless I’m forgetting they mention it don’t affect him but it’s highly likely that he is still being held back and that in reality it’s only like 5% of his power

i was under the impression that Aizen still had the majority of his power "Sealed". Wasn't that what the eye patch and parts of his clothing (like the straps on his arms, ect.) were supposed to symbolize? i always thought the reason Aizen wasnt able to beat Ywach with just his spiritual pressure alone was because of that, and that was the real reason why Ywach made him a special threat because of his spiritual pressure.

I think it goes back to what gin said about touching kyoka suigetsu. Once you touch the blade maybe the illusion ends in the same way that gin mentioned.
14:40 it probably is breaking the illusion since the weakness of Kiyoka Suigetsu is that its effect is cancelled when u touch its blade like gin did, meaning if Aizen cuts you, you would be touching his blade, cancelling the effect.
I feel like Kyoka Suigetsu stopped because Yhwach was touching Aizen himself, and touching the sword was originally the way to nullify it, so now it might be his body as they fused together, meaning Yhwach is technically touching Kyoka Suigetsu, therefor nullifying it.

And in the actual situation where its just Aizen (he doesnt sense ichigo arriving) so, he in his own mind, would know he has to stop yhwach. Unfortunately nothing except the stillsilver arrow can stop Yhwach at this point. Aizen could tag team with Urahara, Kisuke, Zaraki, Ichiho, Kyoraku, Renji; the list goes on, and nothing would change. Yhwach can simply revive himself from another timeline. That is how insanely broken his power is. Only through the stillsilver arrow does The Almighty stop working for a brief moment. That is the only window of opportunity where he can be killed.

The illusion never ended until after the real ichigo arrived. Juha was still seeing ichigo even as Ichigo ran Juha through. It was just Kubos way of revealing to us the readers that it was really Aizen the whole time so we wouldnt be confused. Because some readers were actually still confused after the fact. Some readers still believed the Renji and Ichigo were there fighting alongside Aizen and didn't even catch on weeks after the manga chapter. Juha was still seeing Aizen up until Ichigo ran him through. Or perhaps the whole touching Kyoka Sueigetsu started to reveal the true Aizen since they were touching each other. Although Juha wasn't touching the blade, Aizen is fused with his zanpakuto so maybe touching him was enough to slowly reveal the true auzen.

You are correct, Tommo must have forgotten the dialogue shared between Gin and Aizen prior to Gin being killed.
I really like the notion of Aizen deactivating his shikai on purpose after thinking they had won. It would say a lot about him as a character. Not only that he was overconfident. But it also kinda shows trust towards Ichigo in that he dropped all illusions and isn’t trying to pull anything funny. Which would be huge for Aizen bc pulling one over on people is literally his whole deal.

They don't affect his output or power... Hence why the kido corps member almost disintegrated when trying get close and touch Aizen.. His reaitsu is still transedent like it was after fusing with the Hogyoku

The way I interpreted was since Yhwach "died" the effects of Kyouka suigetsu's had worn off and once revived it doesn't affect Yhwach anymore and Aizen would have to hypnotize Yhwach again

That would defeat the purpose, the reason yhwach even lost was because of his obsession with ichigos despair, not because someone overpowered him. Giving them bankais and making the bankais the reason yhwach loses would defeat the point of the story
I think the illusion ends WITHOUT Aizen wanting it to end because it is how his power works now, after being fused with his Zanpaktou. Remember how Gin said the only way to not be under Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis is by touching the blade? Well, he fused with his blade, and that fusion was never undone. His blade may have "disappeared" but where did it "reappear" from if he had been tied up to the chair? It has to be because he is fused and can make it appear whenever. This would also be consistent with the earlier pre-Hyogoku battles, like when he stabs Harribel from behind and she then can see he is behind and not in front.

Yhwach’s first attempt to kill Aizen resulted in him being accidentally freeing Aizen from the chair.
Yhwach’s second attempt just resulted in KS being used on the Almighty.
Yhwach’s 3rd attempt managed to temporarily immobilize Aizen the same way Ichigo did with the final Getsuga Tensho…..but as we all saw…Aizen came back
Like he always does. At his strongest state he couldn’t permanently kill Aizen.
Eventually Aizen would evolve to a state stronger than Yhwach. Might take a while…but Aizen is a patient man that doesn’t mind waiting for his plans to work out.
Regardless…let’s not forget that KS was strong enough to do 2 things to the almighty:
1)Affect the Almighty’s sight of the future
2) Tricking Yhwach’s Almighty into thinking it’s fighting 3 people when it’s just 1 person.

Pretty Yhwach intentionally destroyed the chair and wasn't aiming his attack specifically at Aizen... Even if you try to deny its easily provable as Yhwach was able to effortlessly damage Aizen punching a hole and ripping off his arm...if he's able to damage after he is free from the chair. why wouldn't he able to damage Aizen when he is restrained to the chair and can't move? Nah. We already saw that with Aizen helping Ichigo get a killing blow it STILL didn't work. The Almighty makes it so YH just says NO to being defeated. Thats why PLOT ARROW was needed. Aizen stands no chance alone. He would end up getting beaten down like he did against Ichigo before.

No, it was always going to have to be a group effort to take Yhwach down. Aizen is definitely powerful enough to still scrap with and give Yhwach the runaround which is a feat in and of itself compared to how easily endgame Yhwach stomps anything and everything except the original Soul King, but just like Ichigo couldn’t do it own his own, neither could Aizen. Hence why he stalled long enough for Ichigo to land that critical blow… before the mfer REWROTE HIS OWN DEATH!

Yhwach literally put hands on him. In fact Aizen never once harmed Yhwach. A lvl 99 kido got no sold.
Not a single person gave Yhwach a "scrap", they were all getting rag dolled and not even their plot armour abilities saved them (KS, Ichigo being MC, etc) literally none of them are a match to Yhwach, and got the most boring conclusion ever to a fight, a fucking arrow, how bad at story writing must you be you can't make your characters win with their own abilities that you need an arrow to do it for them.

Gut reaction is saying no. Almighty is just so fucking busted that even someone like Aizen would get overwhelmed. He also didn’t have time to plan or come up with something that could possibly temporarily stop that power like the silver arrow and Uryu.
Overall I do hope they flush out that fight more. Seeing him do 3-4 cool things then just get eaten and removed from the story till the end sort of sucked. He won’t win but he’d be a problem

Aizen's illusions disappear because when you come into contact with Kyouka Suigetsu, the illusion dissipates. Gin Ichimaru tells us this before it can be activated, however. But it's just a reasonable assumption that coming into contact with the blade breaks the illusion.
I had always thought of it another way, Gin tells us that the only way to tell if you're under the effect or not, is touching Aizen's blade, and since he'd absorbed his zanpalto then touching him should still show you the truth, at least that was my thought, and I thought Urahara got the hogyoku out of Aizen when the sealing spell he put on him went into affect. Maybe that was anime only but i could swear there was a scene of him holding it after that weird thorned cross was there
I don’t think so. The Aizen we see fight Yhwach was at his full power using everything at his disposal and he still couldn’t even touch Yhwach. Because of the power of the SK enhanced Almighty, even if there was a modicum of chance that Aizen could be victorious, all Yhwach would have to do would be to rewrite the future.
I know alot of hardcore Aizen fans always mention the hogyoku and evolution, but not only did he NOT evolve in this fight against the strongest person he’s ever fought, but he got overwhelmed and was eventually knocked unconscious due to the assimilating process. This matchup is the unstoppable force vs the immovable obstacle through and through. Aizen and Ichigo were basically fighting God and were losing handily until the still silver was involved.

His whole “no one rules over me” attitude and defiance were the main reasons he chose to oppose Yhwach in the first place. Remember, everything Yhwach had done while infiltrating the royal realm is what Aizen had intended to do as well, at least with the exception of merging the worlds, whereas Aizen wanted to stand in heaven and prove his point. Narratively, it makes zero sense for Aizen to be like “hmm, my greatest foe is right before me, but I have no desire to actually stop him from getting what he wants. Better not evolve.”
Aizen wasn’t at his full power. He still had many seals on him.
Aizen said he fused with his zanpakto, maybe his whole body is now part of the weakness Gin pointed out, when Yuha pierced Aizens chest, he was touching kyoka suigetsu thus cancelling its power and reveiling the truth. The second possibility is just to make a surprising panel.
Even gin said yes kyoka suigetsu is a terrifying power no doubt but that's not why all the espadas fear and respect aizen, they fear and respect him because of his overwhelming power and speed, if it was just for his shikai they wouldn't respect him so much but even aizen knows his shikai alone wouldn't be enough to take over the world he needed the hokyugou to actually get more power too to fight people like yama and ichibe those two alone would be enough to earase aizen if didn't get the hokyugou

People are speculating that Uryu's The Antithesis makes him immune to The Almighty however we don't know the exact mechanic of his ability. Jugram with The Almighty couldn't predict Uryu. He even admitted that The Antithesis can be a perfect counter against The Almighty.

Also, i think people forget that Aizen was still partially sealed here. His whole outfit is part of the whole sealing process for him. Nothing is wrong with his eye. My speculation is that the evolving qualities of the hougyoku were sealed at this time. It makes sense that Urahara and the soul society would want to target that aspect of the hougyoku if they couldn't do anything about his body or the hougyoku itself.
Well we know that when it had come to Aizen’s zanpakuto if you placed your hand on it you could not be affected by it’s illusions.
Maybe any form of contact, like being slashed by it could do the same.
Plus Aizen and his zanpakuto are pretty much one after his battle with Ichigo.

I think the thing is different, I don't remember exactly where but I remember that Aizen has been stated to be able to evolve to the point of transcending everything and standing at the same levels of the soul king, If he happened to gain such power while fighting Yhwach then probably not even "the almighty" would have been of help against him
I believe aizen would defeat ywach. Aizen, just like with everyone else he fought, was playing with ywach, testing his power just as Mayuri pointed out when he restricted his power. Plus with the hogyoku aizen has the potential to evolve again, endlessly, I doubt ywach can. Plus aizen still has his bankai, I doubt aizen was losing power and strength, he was too arrogant to take ywach seriously. Ywach is nothing special without the almighty, without it ywach would get bodied, aizen without his zanpoktou bodied the entire gotei 13 by himself.
Yhwach in his base Form was strong enough to Steal and Withstand Yamamoto's bankai... No other Sternritter was capable of stealing Yamamoto's bankai just as Yhwach says... Once Aizen strikes someone AKA they make contact with the blade the illusion and just like Tousen's Bankai keeping in mind they have the same weakness One of them takes control of all five senses The other one shuts down all five senses these abilities are negated if you are touching (body contact w/ the blade.

In my opinion, Aizen sensed ichigo’s arrival therefore stopping for a moment for what seems as the window he created for ichigo to getsuga tenshou yhwach. After that, they both thought the battle Is over but suddenly yhwach eliminated the big threat of Aizen by absorbing him. If they knew it wasn’t over, there might have been a chance where AiEn would actually have to resort to using his bankai. Just a speculation on my part seeing that Aizen never truly reveals all his cards at once and does so only when absolutely necessary, it’s in his character and his bankai is supposedly his last resort in this situation given that yhwach revived without absorbing Aizen at that very moment.
Ichigo was more of a threat to Yhwach than Aizen ever was, infact, if we are going by the war potential lists, threads 1) Ichigo, 2nd) Kenpachi, 3rd) Ichibe 4th) Aizen, 5th) Urahara. Before Kenpachi lost to Royd, he was the biggest threat to Yhwach and his over all plans.
Whether you like it or not or come back with "WEL KENPACHI ISNT EVEN STRONGER THAT ICHIGO OR AIZEN", that is irrelevant because that is exactly how the War Potentials list was written by Kubo himself.

I think Kyoka suigetsu releases the illusion because since touching the zanpakuto is the only way to break the illusion according to what Gin said and since Kyoka suigetsu is now a part of Aizens body I think , would make sense that piercing Aizen would count as touching Kyoka suigetsu

Gin said in his fight with aizen that the only way to cancel the effects of his Zanpakuto was to touch the blade and with all the fusions with the hyogyoku fused him completely with his Zanpakuto
I think the Hogyoku would definitely resurrect Aizen, potentially giving him another crazy transformation. While it may be "dormant" or something following Deicide & his time in Muken, Aizen is still stronger than he was during Deicide. If the fight went down in that way I absolutely think it would become active and start doing the shenanigans we're used to, otherwise when it "rejected" him after Mugetsu it would have popped out of his chest or something right?
Here's a basic analogy I thought up in like 2 minutes: From the Hogyoku's perspective, let's say base Aizen was a Dodge Challenger SRT-8/Scat Pack/whatever. It transformed him into a Hellcat and later a Demon, but after his defeat he reverted to a Hellcat Redeye. But it could theoretically turn him into a Demon 170 in this situation. For context, a Hellcat is rated 707hp, Redeye is 797hp, Demon is 808 (I think, and also specialized for drag racing), and the Demon 170 is something like 1025hp? and is strictly a factory drag car.
We need to see aizens bankai and see his full potential in the anime. I want to see some hogokyu augmented bankai that just blows our minds
