Hello everyone! Once again, I'm still away currently, but I prerecorded this video for you before leaving. What did you think of Aizen's role in CFYOW? Will we see it in the TYBW anime? Let me know!
I doubt CFYOW will be part 4 of TYBW anime and TBH i dont want it either. Why would we want them to speed up the anime just to start and finish CFYOW in a single 12 ep arc??? that just seems really bad. Instead it makes more sense for them to do CFYOW as a separate arc AFTER the 4 part anime as its own thing
Seeing how Ichigo has a part of the soul king maybe he has his own mini version of Almighty it would explain why Yhwach said he's changed fate/the future before maybe Ichigo activated his Almigjhty and changed fate not to mention he has a young Yhawach's powers or spriit in him he could potentially unlock it but that's all headcanon/speculation
Aizen is literally an immortal God that sits on a throne deep underground in darkness, peacefully, plotting, planning, pondering, and sometimes simply not giving a f%&* 😂
Aizen's goading of Hisagi with the truth about Tosen in CFYOW and then remarking of the truth of their world was a tantalizing moment. Hisagi got very emotional and Soifon restrained him. Aizen's ability to provoke will always be an underrated tactic of his.
I think it is a very nice part of Aizen’s character that he can read other people so well, yet he struggles with reconciling his own conflicting views and desires. It is also quite telling that he was paying attention to Tokinada while in Muken, hinting that he wished to know what happened to the man that caused his most loyal follower so much suffering. That he then seemed to fondly reminisce about Tosen and noted that he left behind a notable legacy, aka Hisagi, is a rare humanizing moment for Aizen.
Aizen actually has never intended to provoke. Slapping truth into people's faces even without any intention to provoke sadly causes them to devolve and lose their brain power to emotions. Aizen provided Tosen with everything he could to achieve what his heart truly desired and prevented him to die more than once while all Hisagi ever cared about is the image of Tosen he created in his brain for his own sake, never even trying to understand neither his heart nor his agony while in SS. Komamura was a chronic dumass though, at least Hisagi is capable of feeling it after enough slaps in face.
I really like how CFYOW showed that Aizen’s bond with Tosen was the closest thing to a genuine friendship that Aizen had. The fact that a blind person was the one that was able to get a glimpse of the more human side of someone so God-like that he could literally control your perception of him through sight, is a very nice bit of character writing.
Truth. Their meeting in the cemetery after Kakyo's funeral and Tosen's beating by Tokinada's thugs was one of those flashpoint moments in the saga. Tosen saw the truth of Soul Society's justice and met a man who would change everything for him.
@@manuelacosta9463 I really like how Tosen was clearly reluctant to the notion of trusting Aizen, after what Tokinada had just done to him. But, in time he would come to see Aizen as the one person able to change the flawed world that killed Kakyo. It does make me wonder if Tosen had asked Aizen if killing Tokinada could be the last thing Tousen would do before taking his own life? Considering the fact that he did not believe someone like him deserved a place in the world Aizen would create. Regardless, it would have been entertaining to see Aizen torment Tokinada, given all the things the Noble had done for his own twisted amusement.
I mean he is blind so it makes sense that he would be the only person to be able to know the real aizen somewhat bc he isn’t affected by aizens zanpakuto. Not necessarily bc he somehow got aizen to genuinely let his guard down.
I always thought that Aizen wanted to speak to Ichigo about the current status quo and how, despite everything he’s done, it’s a system doomed to fail. Until Ichigo actually starts living in the SS and experiences the corruption beneath, these problems will persist. Considering the fact that Hell is opening, even Harribel admits that Aizen has always had a point
That’s the one thing I don’t like about ichigo. The guy is so simple in how he really doesn’t take anything into account besides what the soul reapers say lol. He never ask any questions.
@@skubaRu7 agree Ichigo should not even be an ally with the shinigami (except a few), they had not hesitation to use Ichigo as SK replacement, that should have been a huge trust betrayal
I also wanted to see more interactions between Ichigo and Aizen, since Aizen spent so much time building up Ichigo as someone to rival his power level. They even teased us in the anime with the possibility of him having the almighty or abilities worthy of a SK replacement
Aizen honestly most of the time just tells the truth. His ability to see through most people just makes it very easy for him to mess with them. Then add the most broken zanpaktou in the series and you’ve got one of the greatest villains in anime history. And easily the most entertaining bleach character imo. If he somehow showed back up I would be all for it….side note him and kyoraku are definitely the best characters 💀
I think in the Future Hell Arc: Kyoraku will once again get agreement from Central 46 to leave Aizen on top of Soul Society and out of Mugen; to protect and try and balance the displacement of Reishi when all of the current Captains and most Lieutenants go to Hell for xyz reasons. Because the whollle point of The Hell Arc is the fact that Strong Density Reishi figures (previous Gotei 13 High Figures/Arrancar/etc.).. Is starting to unbind the linking Precipice Worlds between The World of the Living/Hueco Mundo/SS/Soul Palace/Hell/(Heaven?).. For being in Hell mostly instead of other areas.. Therefore threatening the Soul Spirit Energy Balances and Cycle of Rebirth between the Many Realms.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH THE GUY HAS OP BRAIN NOT JUST HIS SPIRIT ENERGY LOL and hes not really a villan you got to remmeber what he told kisuke before he was sealed lol anything refering to the soul king and quincies cannot rule over him and i agree they are f ck ng useless
The reason why Kyoka suigetsu effect fades when Yhwach impales him is because like Gin said. If you touch the sword you aren’t effected. And Aizen fused with his sword. So after he hit the real Aizen and stayed in contact with him. The effect faded. Because he is touching the sword(Aizen)
@@bonKondebed Except Gin managed to at least temporarily nullify Kyoka Suigetsu's effects by holding the blade when he was betraying transcendent Aizen. And Aizen was in his 3rd or 4th transformation by that time, so he had already fused with Kyoka Suigetsu. So, taking that information, it does seem possible that just touching Aizen at all could nullify the hypnosis. Yhwach physically and actually impaled Aizen, so Kyoka Suigetsu would have been nullified temporarily.
@@bonKondebedthe same way Gin lied Aizen may have lied to Gin about the touching the blade part, remember before getting strong enought Aizen used moatly Kido to kill his enemis, probable cutting anyone will break the ilusion if the person have not die.
Guys.... You have to touch the blade before he activates it... Not when in use.. Which he was still using while fighting Yhwach.... I am more inclined to believed he had overused Kyoka Suigetsu
@@dweller132 Gin didn't negate anything, aizen literally refused to use it after his chrysalis in favor of the hogyoku. Yhwach calls Aizen out on his arrogance of either disabling Kyoka Suigetsu and believing it would hold him after death.
That was no great loss… I feel bad about it, but every time she gets stabbed, in that one scene, I can’t help but cheer, because it was such a victorious moment for Aizen.
I swear Aizen is literally the greatest antagonist to ever exist how can you hate this man he’s a perfect villain all around kubo really put his all into making Aizen they way he is👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It would seem both Aizen and Kyoraku knew how "evil" the soul society is and to Aizen, justice meant doing something about it, while for Kyoraku, his ideals were probably more centered on just living with it the best that one could.
their zanpaktou also illustrate that point. Kyoraku's bankai is about balance, finding a way within the rules that are set. All the while aizen's zanpaktou is about manipulating the very system itself to suit one's needs.
Kryoraku's snide comments about Ichibei showed his distrust. The way he spoke to him in the initial chapter of CFYOW was telling of his stance, his disapproval of some of these "traditions".
@@lamefarthe and Kisuke clearly understand Aizen. But they're more about playing it safe rather than venturing into the unknown and possibly distrust in Aizen's vision of what the world is supposed to look like. Aizen is half right basically.
@@kab1r Nailed with half right. Thing is Aizen is not the solution. He's a sociopath. Kyoraku and Urahara are pragmatic. They don't believe in ideal worlds but still have a degree of morality. That's why they make great leaders.
I think Aizen surrendered willingly. Especially what Aizen said about "courage". And he said Ichigo was "a hard man to forgive" for entering the Royal Palace first.
@@j.d.604 It occurs at the very end of the TYBW, I recommend you read it yourself rather than have someone be the middle man w/ a quick google if you're interested
I like 2 think that Aizen truly loved bein strapped 2 chair-sama and spent his time remorsing its death after TYBW. He never planned on escaping and only wished that a new 1 be made so that they could live in peace happily forever
@@officejetpro365x3 but we've never seen him break out of chair-sama. Y would he not only enter battle in a chair-sama but then allow himself 2 be recaptured and confined?
I hope chair-sama gets more attention in the anime. Lord chair has done so much for the Gotei 13, he spent two years in Muken, constantly listening to Aizens mad but of course logically sound rambling. How he will one day take over the world, how he will one day end Ichigo for good, and about how awesome it will be when he finally loses his virginity. And Gichō-sama did that without complaining. He really deserves some spotlight for that!
Aizen is sitting and waiting for the Hell situation to get out of hand and for Shunsui to free him again, wouldn't surprise me if he planned for this with him and Ywach no longer balancing the scales and then taking advantage of the chaos in a more chill and relaxed way.
How can we ever be sure of anything regarding Aizen ? For all you know, he could probably be behind you right now , watching you as you watch this video.
Part of me thinks Azien chose to go peacefully and prepare for what to come on the near future. This man has always been scary smart and strong and seemed always 10 steps ahead. Kubo might already have some big plan for Aizen in the Hell arc (if Kubo ever get back to it). Aizen being as smart as he is would had a idea of possible events that could happen due to TYBW and all the powerful souls that had died in a rather really short time period.
Kubo would be crazy not to have can’t fear your own world adapted into the anime after the huge success with the war arc 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I won’t be surprised if we do. Seeing more of Aizen is always welcome and you know he’s definitely gonna come back in the hell arc at some point. Maybe we can even get an anime adaptation of spirits are forever with you. I imagine that Aizen wanted to speak to ichigo about the true nature of the soul king. He would be disgusted knowing Ichibei wanted to turn his creation(ichigo) into the tool he despised (soul king)
OR we might get lucky enough to see it adapted somewhere within the tybw arc itself, it would make sense for it to be adapted now than it being adapted after the war.
Yokoso Watashi No Soul Society. I love Aizen’s speech at the prologue of TYBW where he finishes Ichigo's speech about courage. Also, his small but amazing role in CFYOW. His teasing of Hisagi, but also in a way gives Hisagi closure whether he likes it or not. And seeing his relationship with Tosen.
I always assumed Aizen chilled out and was voluntarily taking a break for a few hundred years to reflect because I can’t imagine him not being able to escape after the Quincy invasion if he actually tried.
I personally think he knows the system won't take long to collapse, so he is waiting for it to collapse, and then when it does, he plans to take the opportunity to mold the world into the form he wants it to be
My theory is that Ichibe, Kyoraku and Urahara agreed to allow Aizen to be an actual SK. Meaning that he has a say in Soul Society matters and Yhwach’s corpse is just a totem. I can’t see any other reason for Aizen to help seeing how it doesn’t change his affairs because he’d still be imprisoned. Just my opinion though. EDIT: He remains in Muken just to maintain order and appearance and the only people that know are the aforementioned three.
I thought he chose to help because his goal of overthrowing the Soul King and Yhwach's goal was not the same. He didn't want someone else asserting their will as a new SK. I also think Ichigo defeating him, and everything else he went through afterwards, managed to reach Aizen in a way maybe no one else had done before. I find your theory interesting though, very cool.
@@anibal5845 Thanks man I appreciate it! I do get where you’re coming from, I think it is a stretch that those three would let Aizen have any sort of influence. But it’s not outta character for them as they would do whatever to maintain the Soul Society’s existence, even if it means working with Aizen.
I think its simple what aizen future is Either he will become strong enough to break out of prison Or mayuri will develop a device that will be setup on aizen and he will be freed If aizen ecen thinks of doing something unnatural He will be dragged down to muken because of the device My theory..... 💀
Yes, it felt like the defeat itself against Ichigo didn't upset him as much as Urahara's trust in the SK despite his intellect. It even felt there was a bit of nostalgia when he fought together with Ichigo, coupled with the fact Ichigo was in the SK palace
My thought on Aizen not wanting to talk, or give his last words, to Kyoraku or the others was not so much arrogance or a mischaracterization of him in CFYOW. He had just come out of a fight where he, and Ichigo, managed is central goal of killing the Soul King. Perhaps he gained some new insight about himself, or what he really wanted, and wished to ruminate on that feeling or idea. In that, maybe the wish to be able to talk with Ichigo was part of that, as the only other person at his level, participated in the fight, and could potentially understand what he was thinking.
9:30 If Memory serves, Mayuri was injured pretty badly in his fight against Pernida and Nemu had died, so both of these things may have slowed him down.
On the question of soul suicide, the difference between Tosen and the vizards is this. The Vizards (minus Ichigo) had nearly a century to master the balance between their different reiatsu and we see Ichigo mastered that balance as well. Tosen's didn't have a mastery of his hollow reiatsu balance or his hollow transformation. He clearly never used it before as he was too distracted by having eyesight. So Tosen was especially vulnerable to soul suicide.
I loved CFYOW, I really hope it gets animated. Aizen was used well in the story, and I loved seeing Shūhei get the MC spotlight that fans wanted for him. More Bleach is always good.
There was a theory that Ichigo's Bankai holds a form of the Almighty hence why he might be a candidate for the Soul king. You comment about the Vizards not undergoing soul suicide, Maybe they couldn't due to the treatment that Kiskue gave them to stop them from Hollowfying. After all, he did use the Hyogyoku to save them. maybe that played a part.
I like how this showcased very clearly just how powerful the Hogyoku's regenerative powers are. Aizen got completely reduced to nothing. Then shows back up some time later. Sure it took a long time to regenerate, but the fact he can come back from even that is insane. Yhwach said it would take too long to destroy Aizen fully, but I wonder if that was more of a bluff, and he really has no effective means of permanently destroying Aizen. Just containing him.
@@em_demiurge4868 I don't think he has anything in his repertoire that can overpower the Hogyoku, nor separate Aizen from it. Perhaps the only thing that could suffice is actually winning and destroying the balance between the worlds. If the power balance is destroyed, it likely also means everyone's "powers" will stop working the way they did. But that's all theoretical at best.
The novel doesn't say the soul king was able to build the world due to the almighty ability but it says almighty as in huge power not the ability. Also Aizen killed tousen because tousen asked aizen to promise him to kill him if he ever decided to change his mission or goal to go against the gote or if he ever got soft on that goal
Aizen is technically the soul Society devil he is literally in the lowest point in the dimension he is manipulative and extremely Powerful, I can see in the future many generations treating him like a boogeyman or devil that they go to make deals with when desperate.
CFYOW made me love Tosen. And Luppi for that matter. But back to Tosen, all the talks between him and Aizen, and Aizen's overall presentation, were my favorite part of the novels in a sea of great moments and wrap-ups. I only wish we got to see a little more, but that may be down the line yet. Excellent video as always Mr. Tommo!
@@yirmiyahu7265 Yeah! Grimmjow's temporary replacement in the arrancar arc and (SPOILERS) One of the zombified Arrancar in TYBW. CFYOW really fleshes out how hollow he feels without anything to destroy until grimmjow comes around, and then he bursts to life. It feels like him and Grimmy both earned the aspect of death destruction but also gives a little hint as to maybe how grimmjow could feel without his intense fixation on someone like Ichigo. You get to see under a facade, unlike with a lot of the other minor Arrancar.
azien said it himself welcome to his soul society, wouldnt doubt he's not actually locked up but working from the shadows like with central 46 in the beginning.
11:42 it is pretty likely that we will get a hint towards the reason next episode. After all, Ichibei seems to be testing how capable Ichigo is to become the Soul King and the training will surely be wrapped up soon, since Ichigo already leaves the Royal Realm in 555. IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED ABOUT EP 16 LEAKS, DONT READ FURTHER! The leaks show Ichigo having 5 pupils per eye, the 4 additional ones in a different color but it really looks like he used the Almighty for a very brief moment. So maybe it is not that you need the Almighty to be the Soul King but you need to have the capability to carry that power and so far only an Almighty user was able to do it. So Ichibei is testing the influence that a power similar to the Almighty has on Ichigo. That's my theory but we will see on Saturday.
I always imagined that Yhwach may have been constantly obliterating Aizens body. Aizen completely recovered from the Final Getsuga, despite his body being completely and totally destroyed. I imagine Yhwach basically just kept obliterating him over and over and preventing him from fully healing, because monster Aizen healed from total destruction in maybe a minute at most
If bleach's story keeps going in the long run I think Aizen will ultimately challenge the very understanding and principles of the soul society's role in creation. I also don't think Reyo is dead, he was too powerful to simply be killed, he has to be out there somewhere in some form or another.
I'm still under the impression aizen allowed them to put him back in muken. Like basically they already had a backup chair and aizen went in and sat in it of his own accord. Saying I'm ready to go back now. 🗿
I understand Kubo's health issues resulted in the manga being rushed, leading to a 10-year time skip with limited information. It seems like he took inspiration from Akira Toriyama's approach to ending with a similar time skip. This could potentially benefit fans by offering ten years' worth of new stories if the series is revived after the TYBW anime ends. Just like how Dragon Ball returned 20 years later after Z to fill in the gaps. Fingers crossed for a similar possibility with Bleach! Additionally, the Hell arc could be explored, too.
The manga was rushed, sure, but the ending wasn't incomplete because of health issues. The higher-ups at Jump wanted to end the manga, and chose to let him do one last arc, which became the TYBW, but then they thought it was taking too long and gave him 3 chapters to finish the story. That's why the ending is so rushed, he literally only had 3 chapters for the final fight and to wrap up the story.
@@Forty2de It was five chapters, I think, not three. I say this because I remember back in the day we suddenly got an announcement of how Bleach was wrapping up in five chapters.
@@deathmark1940 rumors at that time were that Kubo was in a 'war' with the publishers, i don't know what is the truth, some people say the problem was his health, some problem say other stuff, the truth is, bleach was rushed as duck and probably at minimum 20 chapters off, i hope they are or will fix the missing pieces with novels or with the anime
Kyoraku is my favourite character as well. He is such a fascinating and complex character. I know he got his due in TYBW but I wish Kubo made him even more prominent in the earlier arcs, instead of someone like Zaraki or Byakuya who are great but kinda one note. That way when he was made the captain commander after Yamamoto's passing, it would've made more sense than initially feeling kinda random. I also feel he should've been one of the war potentials, not just because he's powerful but also his intellect to play the game.
I knew it! Aizen did kill tosen out of mercy! I always thought it was strange that the way it was shown Tosen was about to die anyway. So there was no practical reason for Aizen to kill him.
Me and my best friends headcanon is that aizen willingly walked right into Muken with everyone watching in some sort of weird backwards like flex of power because it’s not like anyone could really stop him yet he walks right in and sits back down and with a smirk (it’s like a criminal who nobody could catch or stop turns himself in just for the hell of it not because of remorse )I always thought that’s a very twisted way of showing power like putting yourself in time out before your parents can u basically took there power 😂
Honestly considering all of the stuff with Hueco Mundo, I absolutely can believe it. Like aside from Ichigo, I don’t think anyone could stop him even with the restraints on him.
@@aimanbabahmed7449 Yamamoto has no counter to KS, that's why his plan was to kill everyone in FKT arc, based on what we seen from his bankai we could say KS is a direct counter
@@asasdsaasda which is my point. Yama can nuke himself and all of society. Which is the counter to ks im talking about. Yama can potentially take aizen down with him. And if he releases his bankai aizen wouldnt be able to wound him i think. Unless with perhaps an incantation of a 90's hado.
@@aimanbabahmed7449 Well, double suicide is not really a counter, is it? his bankai is directed counter by KS, we have seen Yama bankai put a huge burden on his body, all Aizen has to do is wait, it's not really that hard, Aizen doesn't need to engage Yama, and to make it worst, he can attack yama from range with kido that would drain his energy even more
I think this is all part of Aizen's plan. Aizen's main goal is to "stand alone at the top" and rule everything. Ichibei is the true villian and the soul society and hueco mundo are two halves of the same whole and Ichibei needs to be eliminated, the soul king freed(destroyed), and the reunification of both halves. Ichigo is obviously pivotal in all this as well. We need a final hell chapter arc where all these threads finally come together. To answer your question Ichibei has the full power of the soul king flowing through him and is the real "soul king'. There are three major powers in their universe. These are the Soul Reaper ,Quincy, and hollows. Ichibei has the Soul Reaper powers when he betrayed the og Soul King and split the worlds. He further gained the Quincy powers at the end of TYBW. Now he waits for Ichigo's time of death to gain the final power of hollows and forever be supreme. He has always intended for this for Ichigo. Bleach has masterclass twists and funny enough both Aizen and Yhwach are villainous heroes (antiheroes) trying to destroy the true villain of Ichibei and restore the world to it's proper state. As far as Aizen killing Tosen goes. What makes you think Tosen is actually dead? Aizen was always using his power, which can be seen when he tricked them into attacking Momo. I firmly believe Tosen, Ulqiorra, and Yammy are all still alive and awaiting orders from Aizen to really let loose.
@@KaizenDomain Not true. He lies and does everything to instill despair. His regeneration never made sense at the end saying he can regenerate organs and then his arm and legs were empty. Seems like he intentionally lost to Ichigo and that was always the plan as Aizen was not surprised to see Ichigo emerge victorious. He most likely regenerated back in his thorn bush.
Aizen talking about the "truth of their world" makes me suspect that Aizen's Bankai is connected to the opposite of his Shikai . While his Shikai creates illusions through hypnosis, his Bankai removes all illusions . If that's the case, who knows how Gin managed to hide his plot until Gin managed to find an opening to strike Aizen.
@@roar1nghe dos it’s so not his Charakter to not have masters this and in can’t for your own world it is reviled that wizens banksia only worked on those ho have seen his shikai
If they plan to animate all this stuff they better really invest in the sound design because the entire thing that sold me on bleach growing up was it having the best soundtrack of anime ever even to this day, though GitS SAC is right there with it too.
Regarding the idea of soul suicide killing Tosen vs Aizen killing him, I don't think it's too farfetched to believe that Aizen USED soul suicide to kill Tosen. By that i mean, we can assume Tosen's equilibrium between hollow and reaper was caused by the hogioku. At this time, Aizen was bonded to the hogioku, and even though it hadnt responded to his desires yet, I don't think it would've been difficult for him to use its power to remove Tosen's equilibrium.
Its always confused me why Aizen didn't just immediatly dip out the moment ywhach was defeated because thats exactly what i would of done if i was Aizen the moment Juha died i would be flash stepping my ass to the nearest senkaimon and went into hiding in the human world
He absolutely could but for whatever reason *chooses* to be imprisoned. My guess is that it’s so he can continue to monitor the SS and develop his powers as he debates on his next course of action. Which could be thousands of years into the future.
Aizen has got to be the most op and intelligent villain I’ve seen in a while. I literally was rooting for him and didn’t feel bad at all lol. New subscriber
I feel Aizen gave himself up purely because he rather see what he says come true. Similar to when you warn your friend of something but he ignores you and says you're wrong and don't know what you're talking about so you sit back and when it blows up in his face you're sitting there smug. I feel Aizen wanted to talk to Ichigo to tell him don't let the SS use him as their muscle and speaks about how the Captains don't see him as a friend but as a threat to their order. Similar to how they used Ginjo and had him thinking they were allies but in reality he was nothing more than a tool. But Ichigo is too dumb to realize he's being used by the people he calls allies
I always thought it was pretty obvious that Aizen just chose to play along with Soul Society for now. He's more curious right now where Ichigo and gang's paths will take them than remaking the world right now.
Based on his final appearance in CFYOW that seems to be the case where he says something about seeing where the current SS goes and how that’ll illuminate his own path
It's funny how much Aizen speaks of the lies and illusions of the soul society when he is the wielder of Kyoka Suigetsu, guess I never noticed that before, weird. Almost makes you think that Aizen's Bankai would allow him to break any world altering ability used against him.
Considering how Zanpakutō reflect their Wielders, his Shikai is definitely all about his lies an manipulation. That’s why his Bankai would be fascinating to see since that’s an ever deeper look at the person
Well i guess Ichigo bankai ability to make the impossible possible could be just as good as the almighty. Also I believe Aizen wasn’t knockout I think Aizen went willingly to prison where he will have all the time in the world to understand the abilities and power of the Hogyoku and to basically have a feel of what the world is doing around him. Also I do believe when he acts like no one deserves his words is more of a taunt and a way of saying nobody would understand his reasoning. Aizen is a complex villain I feel he is way past pettiness at this point I do believe he has the best although misguided intentions for the Soul Society.
You should do a video on the implications for Aizen in regards to the Hell arc one shot chapter, if that manifests. Though, I imagine there may not be enough content for a video.
I kinda think Aizen realized that after he lost to Yhwach, he still didn't have nearly enough power to kill the soul king even after all he'd gained. After the battle, he may have surrendered as a form of punishment on himself for failing in the way he looked down for and is now reflecting and growing stronger in Muken. Him not having final words was a mix of him think on one could understand his thoughts and a bit of Aizen not feeling worthy of belittling anyone as he's in his mind failed just like them.
Aizen was still sealed somewhat during that fight, right? His black clothes and eye patch were part of the sealing I believe. So if they were removed he would've been even stronger right?
I may not always agree with your takes on BLEACH (in fact, I often feel very differently about the various characters, plot-points, motives, interpretations, narrative intentions, etc. than you do), I still love your videos and takes, and respect your opinions, as Kubo certainly left A LOT up to interpretation and the imagination. That's why this manga/anime has stuck around in the subconscious AND conscious public/fan discourse as much as it has, even during the "dark" times. :)
Aizen is an incredibly complicated character and wish that Kubo went into depth about what drove Aizen to become this infatuated with the destruction of the hierarchy of soul society and what does he know about the essence of what the soul society is. What was his reasoning for all of his actions? What was his ultimate goal? What happened in his past to warrant his betrayal of the soul society? Just a lot of unanswered questions
what if this story will ended up aizen will successfully killing all of them, and showing that he finished all of them in plan, making them fight each other and kill them selves, now he is the ruler of the new world, aizen is underrated tho but he is O.P. AF
Perhaps Tousen's death is a combination of both explanations. Meaning that Aizen somehow made Tousen's soul even more unstable which caused the Soul Suicide.
No Aizen did exactly what tosen asked him to do ………… he wanted to be removed from the world swiftly if he ever waivered on his conviction …. So that’s what Aizen did
11:39 I think the power of almighty is required to spilt the worlds but not to hold them like that. I believe just about anyone with an amalgamation of souls of each race can be used to as soul king to hold the worlds apart. Only ones being possible are Reio himself (as all races started from him), Yhwach (being the son of Reio), Ichigo and Hikone. There was some discussion about Ginjo also being a potential soul king but I think that's should either shouldn't work(due to him lacking quincy blood) or work for all fullbringers (as they all have 'nails' of Reio). Maybe being combination of fullbringer and soul reaper makes him worthy of being a soul king but I don't know how it makes sense.
I’ve been holding out on reading the light novels because I hope they get animated. I’d rather experience them first via anime. Do you guys think it’s likely they’ll get animated? (At least cfyow or safwy)
11:30 I feel like the thing with Ichigo is that he was to be the last resort of last resorts. Since there's no precedent for anyone but the Soul King holding the worlds together, I would assume that Ichibe was banking on Ichigo having a piece of every race's reiatsu in his body to be enough to act as a replacement. Given that they were able to track down Yhwach's corpse and use it instead, I think Ichigo more lucked out than anything. If that last Getsuga had disintegrated Yhwach, it may very well have been Ichigo tossed into that amber in the Soul King's palace.
I doubt that would happen, they would have to face a full-power Ichigo/wizards/Isshin/Orihime/Ishida/Yourichi/Kisuke and other allies to do that, my money is on Ichigo team
@@asasdsaasda Seemingly, the only reason Yhwach was able to beat Ichibe was because he awakened to his Almighty power. If Yhwach can only beat Ichibe by turning into a capital G God, I don't think even an army could stop Ichibe, considering all he has to do is hit someone once with his Zanpakuto. That's even before including the others in Squad Zero. Then again, ep 16 shows that Ichigo might have the potential to awaken to the Almighty himself, so who knows.
@@Fgtr4Life yah, i don't think powers in bleach work like that, if so, Soifon would be the strongest character in bleach, Rukia would pretty much 1 shoot everyone with her bankai, and so on, Ichibei bankai is not the only OP bankai in the series
@@asasdsaasda But that's how his ability works. You get painted by Ichimonji, he changes/removes the name of what's painted, that's a wrap. Hell, you speak at him wrong, and he removes your ability to talk in general, so that potentially shuts down any kido. Ichibe is more a monster than a man. Its hard to imagine someone who's been around since the dawn of creation being taken out by anyone who isn't just as much of a monster as him. Every power system has to have a ceiling of some kind, and it wouldn't be exaggeration to say that he's almost at that peak.
Well Aizen did end up absorbing his Zanpakuto. Which means he technically became the sword itself. Therefore it would make sense that when Yhwach impaled him, he was essentially touching the sword, which as we know dispells Kyoka Suigetsu.
10 years after the OTBWA Arc, for the efforts of saving the world. Aizen gained the freedom of his left eye and mouth. At least he can see and talk now, such a nice reward.
To be honest (speaking in hindsight) i think we couldve or were meant to assume that Yhwach was the soul king due to him being directly related to the soul king. I also think that yes the almighty is key to keeping the world's separate, but i also think you need to be of all races. Hence y people like kugo was a candidate and hikone.
Aizen is very much like orochimaru. He's a vilian as a means to an end. He isn't evil to be evil. Orochimaru wanted immortality, and there was no legal way to do that, so he became a criminal, but in boruto, now that he had legal immortality, he's become a scout mom level threat. Aizen wasn't evil to be evil, he wanted to test how powerful he was and reach his peak. Upon reaching his peak he was defeated by ichigo, and even now that he is stronger than he was when ichigo beat him, he sees thst ichigo is stronger still. At the same time aizen wanted to see a more active leadership in soul society, but by the end of the series the old guard is dead and the new people in power sre what aizen wanted. He has no reason to fight then because he got his happy ending.
I feel him not talking with others makes sense. To him, everything was a test subject in his goals. But Ichigo became the outlier he wanted if Ichigo's or Urahara's(I don't remember which one said them) words after Aizen's defeat are to be believed. If he found someone who defeated him, then why would he need to talk to anyone anymore. His goal has changed. And I feel the reason he was chummy in TYBW was because he felt Yhwach could give him another challenge like Ichigo. But he ended being sidelined at the last minute. So in that regard, I can see him not wanting to just deal with anyone. He might be brooding a bit because he can't have his fun. But that's just how I interperate it.
They’ll probably expand to the ending, but theres 2 other ways it goes for me… - It ends exactly the same with an abrupt cut then its the 10 years later. - Or (my favourite) it doesnt end & goes into material of the novels & “Cant Fear Your Own World” in another season of 2 expanded Cours.
The Vizard were also treated by Urahara, having their souls balanced with a good ol' shot of Quincy Juice. Tosen had no such dosage. He was probably Hollowfied via the same method Aizen made the Arrancar. Just backwards. Less stability because Aizen had less practice _successfully_ hollowfying shinigami.
I just hope that we get a extended full power Ichigo vs Soul King Yhwach fight, before Yhwach decides to break his sword. And of course and extension of Aizen and Ichigo vs Yhwach, because well more Aizen screentime the better. 😂😂
Hello everyone! Once again, I'm still away currently, but I prerecorded this video for you before leaving. What did you think of Aizen's role in CFYOW? Will we see it in the TYBW anime? Let me know!
It's okay we know you are enjoying Honeymoon 😃
@@thepd8006 I'm just hoping to see what new revelations will come in the upcoming hell arc.
I doubt CFYOW will be part 4 of TYBW anime and TBH i dont want it either. Why would we want them to speed up the anime just to start and finish CFYOW in a single 12 ep arc??? that just seems really bad.
Instead it makes more sense for them to do CFYOW as a separate arc AFTER the 4 part anime as its own thing
what source do you use for the colored pages of the manga?
Seeing how Ichigo has a part of the soul king maybe he has his own mini version of Almighty it would explain why Yhwach said he's changed fate/the future before maybe Ichigo activated his Almigjhty and changed fate not to mention he has a young Yhawach's powers or spriit in him he could potentially unlock it but that's all headcanon/speculation
Aizen is literally an immortal God that sits on a throne deep underground in darkness, peacefully, plotting, planning, pondering, and sometimes simply not giving a f%&* 😂

It's not a throne

That he then seemed to fondly reminisce about Tosen and noted that he left behind a notable legacy, aka Hisagi, is a rare humanizing moment for Aizen.
yup, as Komamura noted to Ichigo in Fake Karakura Town Aizen's a master at it.
Yeah, dude's a professional Troll.
Emotional Damage is his true power. His Manipulation and patience serves this power exceedingly well
I really like how CFYOW showed that Aizen’s bond with Tosen was the closest thing to a genuine friendship that Aizen had.
Yes I told my friend this story a while back bleach’s writing is so overlooked in my opinion I would argue it’s some of the best in SHONEN
I mean he is blind so it makes sense that he would be the only person to be able to know the real aizen somewhat bc he isn’t affected by aizens zanpakuto. Not necessarily bc he somehow got aizen to genuinely let his guard down.
Kaname couldn't get fooled by Kyoka Suigetsu and straight up could counter it if he wanted.
He truly believed in Aizen.
Hopefully, we'll see more Aizen if we get more hell chapters.. Maybe he helps again and ends up a decent guy at the end? 🤔
I also wanted to see more interactions between Ichigo and Aizen, since Aizen spent so much time building up Ichigo as someone to rival his power level. They even teased us in the anime with the possibility of him having the almighty or abilities worthy of a SK replacement
@@asasdsaasdaexactly i don’t see…how ichigo trust them
Aizen honestly most of the time just tells the truth.

You have to touch the sword before it is released, not during.

We have stated facts about him, overthinking everything creates your doubt
That's a lot of walls to prod his skinny azz through.
Aizen was hiding as Ichigo kurosaki and Ichigo became Kazui because of hogyoku.

I imagine that Aizen wanted to speak to ichigo about the true nature of the soul king. He would be disgusted knowing Ichibei wanted to turn his creation(ichigo) into the tool he despised (soul king)
i read somewhere that hisagi might have been the main character in kubos earlier drafts, so the arc must be a call back to that

I always assumed Aizen chilled out and was voluntarily taking a break for a few hundred years to reflect because I can’t imagine him not being able to escape after the Quincy invasion if he actually tried.
probably due being injured by a direct hit by SK yhwach and later drained by kazeshini they were able to seal aizen..
EDIT:
He remains in Muken just to maintain order and appearance and the only people that know are the aforementioned three.
Either he will become strong enough to break out of prison
Or mayuri will develop a device that will be setup on aizen and he will be freed
If aizen ecen thinks of doing something unnatural
He will be dragged down to muken because of the device

My thought on Aizen not wanting to talk, or give his last words, to Kyoraku or the others was not so much arrogance or a mischaracterization of him in CFYOW. He had just come out of a fight where he, and Ichigo, managed is central goal of killing the Soul King. Perhaps he gained some new insight about himself, or what he really wanted, and wished to ruminate on that feeling or idea. In that, maybe the wish to be able to talk with Ichigo was part of that, as the only other person at his level, participated in the fight, and could potentially understand what he was thinking.

Aizen is such a well in depth character, making him immortal was the best decision for the series
The Hogyoku allowed for them not to die.
That's honestly the most plausible explanation
I like how this showcased very clearly just how powerful the Hogyoku's regenerative powers are.
Aizen got completely reduced to nothing.
Then shows back up some time later.
Sure it took a long time to regenerate, but the fact he can come back from even that is insane.
Yhwach said it would take too long to destroy Aizen fully, but I wonder if that was more of a bluff, and he really has no effective means of permanently destroying Aizen.
Just containing him.
Best believe that Yhawch would destroy him
@@em_demiurge4868 I don't think he has anything in his repertoire that can overpower the Hogyoku, nor separate Aizen from it.

And so Aizen pulled the pin and let the effects of hollowfication play out and left nothing for Mayuri to dissect and experiment on.
How’s you see these leaks already??

I genuinely always wanted to know about this! Thanks for the video 🙏 much love~
Wll, Zero Division did say Aizen is the personification of evi itself. Kyoraku letting him speak was a gamble.

Kyoraku is my favourite character as well. He is such a fascinating and complex character. I know he got his due in TYBW but I wish Kubo made him even more prominent in the earlier arcs, instead of someone like Zaraki or Byakuya who are great but kinda one note.
@@sanddry738i doubt ichigo can. I mean nobody has a counter to kyouka suigetsu. The closest is azashiro and yama who is dead.
@@aimanbabahmed7449 Well, double suicide is not really a counter, is it? his bankai is directed counter by KS, we have seen Yama bankai put a huge burden on his body, all Aizen has to do is wait, it's not really that hard, Aizen doesn't need to engage Yama, and to make it worst, he can attack yama from range with kido that would drain his energy even more
My headcannon is that the shinigamis decided to give him a radio that plays music as reward for helping against Ywach.
Ulquiorra definitely isn’t Alive
@@KaizenDomain Not true. He lies and does everything to instill despair. His regeneration never made sense at the end saying he can regenerate organs and then his arm and legs were empty. Seems like he intentionally lost to Ichigo and that was always the plan as Aizen was not surprised to see Ichigo emerge victorious. He most likely regenerated back in his thorn bush.
@driitzshepard2234 That would be badass, but I doubt it.
thank you for these breakdowns
Aizen talking about the "truth of their world" makes me suspect that Aizen's Bankai is connected to the opposite of his Shikai . While his Shikai creates illusions through hypnosis, his Bankai removes all illusions . If that's the case, who knows how Gin managed to hide his plot until Gin managed to find an opening to strike Aizen.
aizen doesnt have a bankai atm
@@roar1nghe dos it’s so not his Charakter to not have masters this and in can’t for your own world it is reviled that wizens banksia only worked on those ho have seen his shikai
@@Revan638 in the manga its said he doesn't have it. Idc what cfyow says he don't got 1
@@roar1ngwhere in the manga dos it say that? It’s not even said in the anime?
@@Revan638the anime doesn’t have a of the story. The main canon is the manga.
Hopefully, we get to see these little closing scenes in the anime. They end the story how it should have ended in the manga in the first place.
He technically ended up like the soul king, can't move, although he could still think he's just as helpless as the entity he was trying to overthrow
I think Aizen is the true hero and he got really tired of the BS but realized Ichigo was the savior to save every one and make it fair
I’m hyped for the hell arc 💪 Great video!
Dude has a busted shikai, the reality warping hogyoku, and the reiatsu and skills to match.
i dont think aizen will ever use bankai since bankai is basically the perfected version of a shikai
I hope to one day see Aizen have a talk with Ichigo; uninterrupted.
I think it was confirmed that Aizen would have won if ichigo did not defeat him
@@Revan638 yes because he would evolve to a higher being
His shikai probably stopped since he was so close to death. He lost an arm and heart
Aizen was still sealed somewhat during that fight, right? His black clothes and eye patch were part of the sealing I believe. So if they were removed he would've been even stronger right?
@@Alpha-pp8ty just wanted to remind everyone he still had plenty of seals. Didn't want to come off as a"know it all"
Just imagining a design for Aizen in 20k YEARS is insane
So that’s what Aizen did
Thanks for this.
WE NEEEEED AIZENS BANKAI!!
It was cool seeing Tosen swear his allegiances to Aizen.
Great video!
I’ve been holding out on reading the light novels because I hope they get animated. I’d rather experience them first via anime. Do you guys think it’s likely they’ll get animated? (At least cfyow or safwy)
Cfyow is possible
No
11:30 I feel like the thing with Ichigo is that he was to be the last resort of last resorts.
Thanks @Mr.Tommo2304, i like your content watching), l watched all the videos) good days)
Well Aizen did end up absorbing his Zanpakuto. Which means he technically became the sword itself. Therefore it would make sense that when Yhwach impaled him, he was essentially touching the sword, which as we know dispells Kyoka Suigetsu.
I think Aizen just went and handed himself in, it would drive people nuts trying to figure out why and what it could mean.
I always love the idea that aizen will eventually just be let out
Aizen is very much like orochimaru.
Aizen and kyoraku having an intense convo is like a hacker and a chess master agrueing over who is right
They’ll probably expand to the ending, but theres 2 other ways it goes for me…
- It ends exactly the same with an abrupt cut then its the 10 years later.
- Or (my favourite) it doesnt end & goes into material of the novels & “Cant Fear Your Own World” in another season of 2 expanded Cours.
Aizen IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ANIME CHARACTERS IN ALL OF HISTORY!!!
The anime better give us more of Aizen x Ichigo v Juha. Thats my most anticipated moment to see animated.
Same! I really hope they expand those scenes. I don’t care if people say it’s just fan service. Give us more damnit
Free Aizen! Aizen did nothing wrong!
Free my boy 🙏
Aizen trolled the most powerful character in the series
He's satisfied
If you want to see the truth without obstruction you must struggle onwards with your own flesh , blood and soul as a sacrifice - Sosuke Aizen
Really hope that everyone learns the truth in the Hell Arc.
It’d be a good time to really dive into the nobles and the history of the SS and their *sins* considering it’s the Hell Arc
