My brother was a Vet and needed help in Winter Haven. 911 was called and responders did nothing to save him. Polk County Fire Rescue only 0.8 miles and Winter Haven Fire Dept only 1.6 miles from him after 5am on a Saturday. The responders made claims of lividity and rigors and no life saving measures taken as should have been. The 911 audio was found in the trash bin and given to our Mom. You can hear my brother speaking on it. People involved not even disciplined, still going on calls!! My Mom was a witness!
As a citizen, veteran, and father , I can't thank you enough for what you're doing, Jeff. Your videos are educating citizens and public servants across the board. I watch your videos with both of my kids as a teaching aid about our constitution and interacting with law enforcement. I think what we enjoy most about your channel is that you highlight all types of interactions. The fact that we are seeing more and more positive interactions is a testament to your work. Correct… and I’m not blocking their entrance as she claimed. I always try to stand next to a bench, a trash can, a light pole, a parking meter etc because that part of the sidewalk is already blocked by a fixed object. That way any and all claims that I’m blocking or obstructing the sidewalk would be false.

Went from being an arrestable offense in the state to a city ordinance violation to something he doesn’t have a problem with to he really appreciates what you do. Eye opening how many people’s rights they violate just by being threatening with a badge and gun and relying on the ignorance of citizens.

The case law Jeff refers to is a Washington State Supreme Court case law so it wouldn’t apply to Florida.

Sgt. Garcia attempted to make us believe panhandling was illegal in all cases but Jeff backed him to the truth, which is basically aggressive panhandling which break other codes/laws. Panhandling isn't a crime in the land of the free.

I perfected it after working in “health care” for 20 years. “Health care” is not so much for care as it is for profit.
My brother was a Vet and needed help in Winter Haven. 911 was called and responders did nothing to save him. Polk County Fire Rescue only 0.8 miles and Winter Haven Fire Dept only 1.6 miles from him after 5am on a Saturday. The responders made claims of lividity and rigors and no life saving measures taken as should have been. The 911 audio was found in the trash bin and given to our Mom. You can hear my brother speaking on it. People involved not even disciplined, still going on calls!! My Mom was a witness!

Correct… and I’m not blocking their entrance as she claimed. I always try to stand next to a bench, a trash can, a light pole, a parking meter etc because that part of the sidewalk is already blocked by a fixed object. That way any and all claims that I’m blocking or obstructing the sidewalk would be false.

All except my uncle have unfortunately past away but THANK YOU ! Thanks for bringing acknowledgement to homeless vets. Everything our Vets have done goes unrecognized, it makes me sick. If it wasnt for our vets we would be living in North Korea ! Fkn scum bags !
I also come from a family of veterans including my mother who was a ww2 woman's army core nurse who treated my dad for his injuries. She not only would have loved jeff but probably would have stood there with him. It's good to see that there are still some good people in the world who try to make a difference!

That cop absolutely would have pushed the panhandling and threatened you with arrest if he didn't realize you knew your rights early. Him even mentioning it proves that. If he knew the ordinance was overturned, why else would he even say it?
