Fun fact : the last piece was rewritten for 3 violins after it was deemed too challenging for 2

The last duet; due to the double stops being played by both the violins, doesn't sound like a duo at all. Instead it sounds like 4 or more violins playing together, which is absolutely beautiful.

the thing i love about twoset is that when i used to watch prodigies or just really good violinists i, would consider them as a completely unreachable goal
but when i see twoset, two young, relatable guys, play this beautifully and skillfully, it makes me think one day i can do it too
and that fact alone gave me so much more confidence and motivation with my violin

I was like: Brett and Eddy were the EPIC duets. Maybe individually, your violin playing still need a little bit more practice, but once you play together, the amazing chemistry between you two is magical! It feels so good hearing your duets, seeing your adjustment to fit with the other and feeling your connection. It’s something that other duet performance may not have: mutual trust. I love this, Twoset! I just come across this video and it lightens up my day! From a non-muscian who has been musically trained.
