    I really love that you can expose shots up to 4s. I have two questions though:
    Is it possible to use HDR in night mode so that the brightly illuminated parts are not getting overexposed?
    If there is a car passing by and I would expose the photo for 4 seconds, would I get a light streak or would the iPhone delete it in post processing?

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  2 года назад +2

      HDR works automatically on the iPhone and there's no way to force it to activate in certain situations. The night mode doesn't capture light streaks. It's best to use a dedicated app for that called Slow Shutter Cam. There will be lots more iPhone photography tips to discover in our iPhone Photo Academy course! Hallo, ich habe immer immer die selben Probleme mit der Kamera, wenn ich fotos im dunkeln mache, oder in der Stadt welche beleuchtet ist, habe ich immer schlieren auf dem foto, das ist nicht schön, ist das durch fettige finger ? ich putze jedes mal bevor ich fotos mache die linsen ab, manchmal wird es weniger, aber ganz weg ist es nie.
    Habe auch das ``Fachwort´´dafür nicht und kann daher bei google nichts finden, ich habe eine hülle, und komme eigentlich nie an die Linse, oft mache ich spontan fotos oder gar videos, und diese sind dann voller ``Streifen´´...... oder einfach weil die Kamera nicht mehr gut ist ?

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  2 года назад +1

      It sounds as if something near the lens is causing some kind of reflection hitting your lens at night, causing those glare stripes in your photos. Try removing your case and see if that helps. If the issue persists, I recommend taking your phone to the nearest Apple store so a technician can look at your images and do further testing.

Now with every model forward it just kept getting more complicated and complex. Currently, we don't have a dedicated lesson about recording videos at night. However, we have an article on concert photography that may be of help. Here's the link: iphonephotographyschool.com/music/

    What about lense glare...this has been bothering me since getting an iphone 13 Mini. Much worse on that one then on my previous SE II

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  Год назад

      The green dot is a result of the lens flare from shooting directly into the light source. One way to resolve this is to cover your camera lens from the direct rays of light.
      You can also quickly correct this using Snapseed or any other editing app. Open the image in the app, find the healing tool, and then tap the green dot to remove it.

    How can you enlarge photo to frame and hang…. won’t the picture lose quality due to the grain or pixels???

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  Год назад +1

      You could use the new enhance feature in Photoshop to increase the resolution of an image, which will allow you to enlarge it for printing. Here's an external video that will show you how to do that: ruclips.net/video/WOyDbBKiYaw/видео.html :)

    What tripod do you use or recommend? And what mounting clamp for the phone? There are a lot of really cheap ones on the market but I really want to get one that will last. This is also one of my favorite videos and a fantastic way to use night mode. There were so many times when I just simply couldn’t find it, and now I know why, I have enjoyed your emails and videos since I signed up for the notifications.

      Our tripod recommendation is the one used by Emil in this video. Here's the gear information:
      Manfrotto Compact Action Aluminum Tripod Kit with Hybrid Head: amzn.to/3S6Tneb
      Manfrotto Universal Smartphone Clamp, Basic Version (MCLAMP): amzn.to/3WOic14
