I really enjoy the explanation from John about how Nightmarionne wasnt or isn’t necessarily the character itself but rather the concept of a “dark version of Charlie” The one quote that always sticks out from UCN is, “I am the fearful reflection of what you have created.” Charlie as the puppet in the same game mentions that they’re not afraid of Afton anymore, and Nightmarionne says “fearful reflection of what you have created,” which always felt strange as like… why are they the “fearful” reflection? I kinda hope they take that somewhere in the future, but the concept alone is cool.
I appreciate Matt bringing up the books being required reading for lore around 28:00, and therefore somewhat alienating a part of the fanbase, because hes right; reading is a HUGE commitment to some people. And in order to indulge in more of the FNAF lore, you are forced to read thru an ever-growing book pile that could take people months to read them all. John tends to stretch quite a bit for his videos. But what I love about it is that in doing so he's coming up with a lot of new ideas to think about and readjust our view of these games. Even if he doesn't solve something, he gives the community a new perspective and then we as a collective can solve it.
scott himself said in his interview with dawko that if the fanbase doesn't understand something he's hinting at, he will try to make a point in the next release to clarify maybe scott is using the graphic novels to achieve exactly that, but leaning more towards the book content?

As an artist looking at the chica rainbow in the graphic novel, there’s no doubt in my mind that is intentional. Look at the art style and line width of the other drawings on that page, the line art is a lot thicker and shakier on every detail except the rainbow, in fact the rainbow looks like it’s been added in post to me it stands out that much

i love how FuhNaff for the most of the video just sits there, like you sit during an audition for a job while the recruiter looks through your CV JUDGING YOU.
I really appreciate the sentiment "It doesn't really matter which of us is right" because in the end, this whole thing is supposed to be fun. Finding details and making connections to figure out a story is interesting and engaging and that doesn't change just because you use different details or make different connections or draw different conclusions - or if it later turns out that you were hinging a conclusion on a connection that didn't exist or a detail that wasn't important. It's the whole process that's cool, especially as it leads to this sort of collab where people approaching the same game from different perspectives can discuss the different things they see about it.
My dad does photography and graphic design stuff for a living, and I'm just getting into the animation field, which has involved a lot of college courses about learning the Adobe creative cloud and design in general. I sometimes show him my work and make the exact faces that John was making this whole video 🤣
I love these videos where you all come together and have fun bouncing your ideas and methods off of each other. I love that this franchise is still so engaging because it reminds me of when my oldest son was so much younger and the joy of sharing one of the 1st age appropriate horror game for us to share.
I'm glad that John doubled down on the parts of the theory he supported, but was open to being wrong and questioned other parts. I can't imagine how intimidating it would be to be questioned by people you look up to and the pressure to completely fold and abandon all your previous thoughts and ideas.
what i like about john is that he likes to take big steps. matt often spends a while on smaller details looking for little things, but john will take anything and roll with it, and i think thats what we need at this point in the lore.
Why couldn't Charlie be the CEO who's designing the Megaplex around her buried memories? Like she was Henry's daughter, which is why she's brought back, but from there, she starts revealing her influence over the franchise and how she's resurrected it - give gifts, give life, and there are gifts everywhere in this game
One thing that could aid to Tape Girl lying the whole time is when you're putting together Glitchtrap and he's constantly saying "Hello? Can you hear me?" (which is what Tape Girl starts off with) being a hint as it's part of the end goal. Tape Girl reintroducing themselves could also be a way to pretend they weren't possessed at one point to build a background and manipulate the player.
I can attest to that cause I do this a lot when I talk to people. I have social anxiety/just anxiety as a whole tbh and it’s difficult for me to hold eye contact when talking to people. Not because I’m lying about something, but just cause I’m uncomfortable just as you stated. :)
If tape girl's original intention of tape 1 was to stop people from reassembling the logs it would say don't collect them as the first words and wouldn't be telling you that there were more or that they might be out of order. She hid them so she knows where she hid each piece.

Fun fact it's a misconception that when people lie they look away. More often than not they make more eye contact that usual. Either because they've heard the misconception before and they're intentionally trying to throw you off or because they're trying to see how believable their lie is.

John tends to stretch quite a bit for his videos. But what I love about it is that in doing so he's coming up with a lot of new ideas to think about and readjust our view of these games.
Even if he doesn't solve something, he gives the community a new perspective and then we as a collective can solve it.
I’m so glad that FuhNaff is now working with MatPat and other theorists he really deserved it.
23:39 idk why but just the “hide. no hide.” KILLED ME 😂
scott himself said in his interview with dawko that if the fanbase doesn't understand something he's hinting at, he will try to make a point in the next release to clarify
maybe scott is using the graphic novels to achieve exactly that, but leaning more towards the book content?
A collab with three of the greatest FNAF enthusiasts! So excited!!!
These types of videos have quickly become some of my favourite on GTLive. This one was especially great because of the conversation between Matt, John, and Tom. Great video and I hope you have John and Tom back on the channel soon
8:12 the way Matt and Tom both laugh and lean to the same side is hilarious
I'm so proud of John for being willing to defend his theories when facing what is probably one of the most intimidating audiences. That sounds terrifying and I know i'd fold like a piece of paper in his position "yeah I've spent months on this, but idk maybe ur right"
Having FuhNaff here as well makes this even more interesting and entertaining
john's face throughout the video is hilarious. I also really enjoy this style of video
I can barely sit through my homework but weirdly enough listening this y'all talk about fnaf helps me get it done
18:16 the absolute nervousness fuhnaff has on his face is just so relatable
Not the first time you've all done a Collab, but it's nice to see him work with you.
Keep in mind, devs said there is still one of the "favorite unsolved easter eggs" in the game, still more to be found big or small, lots
That was before the whole Nightmarione and whatnot thing, so it could've been the plushies or that whole piece of lore, but maybe not
@@qwertious100% bro.. hope that's it lol but we'll never know 😭
The long-awaited finale is finally here, I've been waiting for this!
And somehow it needs part2 haha
AAAAAND it's not the finally. Who could have possibly see that one coming with a *FNAF Theory* .
As an artist looking at the chica rainbow in the graphic novel, there’s no doubt in my mind that is intentional. Look at the art style and line width of the other drawings on that page, the line art is a lot thicker and shakier on every detail except the rainbow, in fact the rainbow looks like it’s been added in post to me it stands out that much
I enjoy the fresh eyes on the series. I love hearing so many different points of view and the different evidence these new eyes are finding. Love the new theories, love the new people. Have a great day theorist team :D
i'm halfway through watching this but i just wanna say i absolutely love this format and really enjoy the back and forth, it's such an enjoyable watch. ty game theory and fuhnaff
I knew this was what John was hinting at! So glad you did this collab.
58:06
"Will you come back, John? 🥺"
"yeah! 😁 I'd love to 🥰"
I love this! In the grand scheme of things does this matter? No, but MatPat & Tom are wonderful examples of how you can disagree with someone without being mean. It's always such fun watching MatPat & other creators theorize together!
I find the idea of the burial ground infection pretty intriguing. I personally have always thought that Roxy was two different kids, perhaps twins, talking to each other. And if what he's saying has merit, then that could mean Gregory is two deceased individuals as well.
Matt’s like “nuh uh FuhNaff, I’m dragging you with me to discuss your theory” 😂

Its so nice to listen to you guys talking, sharing your thoughts and ideas and just having a nice time reacting!! I wouldn't mind watching even if its 2,3 or 4 hours! Its a nice thing!!! Good job to John on making it and i really like what he has been saying!!
i love how FuhNaff for the most of the video just sits there, like you sit during an audition for a job while the recruiter looks through your CV JUDGING YOU.
Oh look it's MatPat, John, and Tom... Looks like we have a triad of Fnaf theories.
FNAF BOYS. FNAF BOYS. GONNA SOLVE FNAF FNAF BOYS
20:23 - It's really funny to see Fuhnaff looking up to where Matt's facecam is as he starts to explain something to Matt XD
My dad does photography and graphic design stuff for a living, and I'm just getting into the animation field, which has involved a lot of college courses about learning the Adobe creative cloud and design in general. I sometimes show him my work and make the exact faces that John was making this whole video 🤣
I love how excited he looks sitting there waiting for the other two to see his idea! It's great.
I love @58:22, it’s so short, but I love that John is totally ready to do the “fnaf boys” dance there
I love these videos where you all come together and have fun bouncing your ideas and methods off of each other. I love that this franchise is still so engaging because it reminds me of when my oldest son was so much younger and the joy of sharing one of the 1st age appropriate horror game for us to share.
Security Breach. The story of two daughters continuing where their fathers left off
It would explain the 2 vanessas in the ending where Gregory and Freddy defeat vanny 🤔
This has the same energy as asking your teacher to read your essay before you submit it 😭
I'm so glad I have this video to accompany me while I eat dinner. Thank you for all the hard work and great content!
I'm glad that John doubled down on the parts of the theory he supported, but was open to being wrong and questioned other parts. I can't imagine how intimidating it would be to be questioned by people you look up to and the pressure to completely fold and abandon all your previous thoughts and ideas.
This series. I love it. Thank you for the upload.
2:40 John reacting to Matpat talk about him for the first 3 mins is such a mood lmao
The collab of the century! We need only one more to complete the fnaf boys quartet!
Dawko
@@fizzyizzypop1300 i was thinking the same
I wish they had a podcast
Watch MatPat react to FuhNaff's FNAF theories... with FuhNaff?
Yes. Please.
I like what I'm seeing.
what i like about john is that he likes to take big steps. matt often spends a while on smaller details looking for little things, but john will take anything and roll with it, and i think thats what we need at this point in the lore.
This was so darn wholesome, I loved it.
If Matpat brought John to talk about John's theory vids we need A bunch of other theorists to talk about MatPats theories cause I think thatd be fun
Looking away doesn't necessarily mean you're lying. It could mean you're uncomfortable or nervous too
I can attest to that cause I do this a lot when I talk to people. I have social anxiety/just anxiety as a whole tbh and it’s difficult for me to hold eye contact when talking to people. Not because I’m lying about something, but just cause I’m uncomfortable just as you stated. :)
facts
With these second looks at Security Breach, I really wish we had input from Scott or Steel Wool
I feel like a series where we listen to the theory crafters work out everything in their heads and juggle ideas would be a fasinating to watch
8:11- I just love the synchronization between Matt and Tom, you know?
XD
If tape girl's original intention of tape 1 was to stop people from reassembling the logs it would say don't collect them as the first words and wouldn't be telling you that there were more or that they might be out of order. She hid them so she knows where she hid each piece.
It's actually a common misconception that liars will look away or shift eyesight. However, the majority of liars want to maintain eye contact to ensure that their lie is being bought and accepted. However, I don't know what it's like for children.
scott is such a good game creator
Ong
Game creator? Yes. Storyteller? Ehhhh
@@nekovannoxthe original story was great, I think the fact that his original arc “the dream theory” got so publicly disputed and was so disliked, he had to change things that weren’t as led into. Forget anything past fnaf 4 and it’s actually a really clever story. Now, anything past that? Ehhhhhh
@@coltonr83colt FNaF 1-3 was a genuinely beautiful story (might be nostalgia talking), FNaF 4 was confusing and cluttered it a bit, Sister Location threw a wrench in everything, and FNaF 6 did an okay job to end the series. We don’t talk about the books or anything past UCN.
@@ic0nic707 noo they're good too just FNAF security breach ruined everything...
Fun fact it's a misconception that when people lie they look away. More often than not they make more eye contact that usual. Either because they've heard the misconception before and they're intentionally trying to throw you off or because they're trying to see how believable their lie is.
Ooh, I loved this! I've been waiting for Matt and Tom to react to this and having John on was a delightful surprise! I'm excited for a second part that expands on the discussion and having another fnaf theorist to bounce ideas off of in a video is absolutely fascinating!
This is so wholesome, such sweet interactions, I love John and I'm so happy he's started making theory videos and we get these Collab videos. I completely agree he's brought back a flame and life to FNAF that I haven't felt in awhile, despite always being into FNAF and loving it, and I'm just so happy and invigorated
