The first thing I ever bought on time payments was my first Bernina. I was 18 I still have it it works great and I'm 62 next month. I bought my second 15 years ago and love it. Nothing better!!!
I just purchased mine, and I love mine too, but I'm feeling guilty, haha. But after your video I realize I need this machine! Thanks for making me feel better. I just needed that lil push. I have her hidden like all my expensive materials and threads... Yes I'm a closet expensive sewer. No one needs to know my passion. Only other sewers understand.
I have an 830 LE and prior to that a 440 QE. Great machines! So good to see Bernina teaming with Tula Pink. She is like a breath of fresh air and inspiration with her ideas and fabric designs.
I have just purchased a Bernina 435 after 20 plus years of unfaultable servide by my Bernina 1230. Fingers crossed I get the same wonderful usage out of my new machine. (BTW, my husband is taking over the 1230 to sew face masks :))
Thank you for a lovely video I am a fan of Bernina I have had mine for approx 40 plus years. Never let me down goes over abt 4 layers no problem. Now thinking of updating as do more quilting now.
Thanks for making me a Bernina fan again with the Tula Pink 770 QE! I love this machine. Stitches are always perfect every single time. I've been an avid Pfaff fan for over 20 years, but this 770 has won my heart over with it's sewing power. I'm so grateful you partnerd with Tula, that made a huge decision in my purchase. That and my amazing dealer, Bigsby's Sewing Center. I feel the love when sewing again. Thank You!!!
I have 4 Berninas! My first was a 1031, a mechanical, industrial machine. There is NOTHING it won't go through! Including putting a new zipper in a leather golf bag! I also have a 1530, and two Artista 180s. I don't know if I'll ever get a new one, but I love these so much, and I expect to grow old with them. I have been a professional seamstress for over 45 years. I would never use any other machine but a Bernina.
I just bought the Bernina 765 SE and I love it!!!!! It's amazing what this machine can do. Like Tula said it is extremely quiet. The feature that I really like is the automatic thread cutting. Still getting used to not having to put the foot down manually, still reach for the leaver. This is my second Bernina I upgraded from the 440QE anniversary edition and I loved that machine as well. I hated to sell that one but it was the only way I could justify the new one. KNOW REGRETS! Lori from Canada
I agree with so much you said, but you forgot the very awesome dual feed and kick back (I use raise/lower presser foot) features on the pedal!! so awesome! I wish there was a smaller one, straight stitch only, with all these awesome features to take to classes!
Love my Bernina, I have an Artista 180 that my hubby bought me new, many years ago. It is a work horse & I would never consider anything else. ❤️ I love your fabrics too, bu the way😍
I first was helping a friend with her mid arm quilting machine. The machine was a Bernina 830. I loved it. The ease of use the consistency. Anyway I ended up getting the new 570 this year. I also got your cutting mat. I feel these 2 items have changed my life. I let Ev your cutting mT Tula.
I'm considering a 570 right now. My current machine is 30 years old. Do you love your 570? Did you consider a 580? I've never really used much decorative stitching, thinking the 570 has enough.
Around 1984 I bought a Bernina 1230, the last one in the store. It took me a year to pay for it, but I would never trade it in for a computer one. Im very happy with it. And it has more than paid for itself.
Just started quilting about 2 years ago. I am in love with your textile designs and how you craft them in to quilts and bags. Also... My sewing table is the same IKEA saw horse table which my son had at college and I reappropriated 😜
My Bernina 1130 is 30 years old this year, and I wouldn't give it up for anything! It was one of the first machines with computer memory. It turned me into a pro and changed my sewing life forever. It has done everything I ever asked of it every. single. time. I would never, ever consider any other brand. I'd choose a Bernina over diamonds! I've been known to kiss my Bernina goodnight because it is the only thing in my house that always does what I want without complaint!!! The power, the reliability, the hands-free knee lift mechanism, the QUALITY. The FEET - so easy to change. Sure, I'd love a new one, but I'll never let my sweet 1130 go! It will go to my granddaughter someday!
Dear OcalaBrew, thank you so much for your fantastic comment. Wow, this really confirms that we are on the right tracks and is a great source of encouragement for everyone working in the BERNINA family. I will share with the colleagues here in Steckborn, Switzerland. Kind regards
I have a husqvarna viking and I love my machine so much, but it's the little things that tula talks about, the screw on the feet that needs to be removed each time I change them is so annoying, also the bobbin feed is on top and fustrating when I have to remove my project when I run out of thread. Bernina will be the next machine I buy and I've been so loyal to husqvarna viking for 15 years but it's those little things that will make it easier and more worth my time. I do have to say that the software for the pc for viking is much more user friendly then the bernina, that's one thing that didn't get me excited.
My Viking is 30 years old and I've loved it, but the electronics are no longer reliable (foot control). Looking at Bernina 570. It has so many amazing features.
In regards to the Bernina 770 QE Once I have put my three layers of fabric, batting, fabric of my large quilt together can I then embroidery on it and quilt large boarders on it in an embroidery hoop.
Dear Faye, yes, this is possible. Here's an overview of our video tutorials for the B 770 QE: ruclips.net/p/PLfT1DJU1aEloovD7hONQFwHpvPGAbxfe_ The small, medium and large embroidery hoop come standard with the embroidery module B 770 QE. For larger project we recommend using the optional Maxi embroidery hoop, see www.bernina.com/en-US/Accessories-US/Embroidery-Accessories/Embroidery-Hoops-and-Adapters/Maxi-embroidery-hoop. Here is a tutorial video on the use of our hoops: ruclips.net/video/fnEYiDubG6M/видео.html
Hi Faye, yes, you can do embroidery in the hoop. However, for multi-hooping you would have to go for the B 790 PLUS as the B 770 QE doesn't have this feature. For information on multi-hooping please watch the following video: ruclips.net/video/80kg3WlMxzA/видео.html
Hi, what’s the reference of the smart accessory we see you using when stitching? Looks like a walking aid for foot. Obviously not a foot but still carrying out the walking foot function. (sorry for the outrageously technical description). I just bought my first Bernina and I love it until I get to gather fabrics. It will only take cotton. Everything else ruffles. Hence my question.
Dear Sue, thanks for sewing with a BERNINA. The feature you are referring to is the BERNINA Dual Feed. It is an integrated feeding aid on our modern sewing machine models of the 5, 7 and 8 Series, feeding fabric through from the top and bottom at the same time, which is especially helpful when sewing with multiple layers or slippery fabrics. More information on the BERNINA Dual Feed can be found in this video: ruclips.net/video/Lpd1HHZpS6M/видео.html
Dear Faye, currently BERNINA does not offer magnetic hoops. We recommend the use of BERNINA frames (see www.bernina.com/en-US/Accessories-US/Embroidery-Accessories/Embroidery-Hoops-and-Adapters) and cannot make any statement about compatibility with products from other manufacturers. The small, medium and large BERNINA hoop come standard with the embroidery module for the B 770 QE.
I really don't understand if u advertising for QUIETER ...... WHY U DIDN'T SHOW IT IN THE VIDEO HOW NOISE WHEN WORKING and we can think about to buy it??
Dear White Diamand, thanks for your comment. From our point of view, the sewing sound and feeling cannot be judged by a RUclips video. Too much depends on the technical equipment (microphone) used for the recording. That being said, you will find many videos of the B 770 QE including sound on RUclips, here's just one example: ruclips.net/video/e4noDD_Onb4/видео.htmlm12s By far the best way to find out if this is the right machine for you is to visit your BERNINA dealer (www.bernina.com/dealersearch) and to test drive the B 770 QE and to compare it with other models.
Dear asfam, the BERNINA 1630 has been produced in the early 90s. There are no video tutorials available for this model. Please refer to the user manual that came with your machine or contact your BERNINA dealer for further information. Note that 1630 is not an overlocker machine / serger but a pure sewing machine. That being said, there's a special overlocker foot which can be used on sewing machines, in combination with the overlocker stitch, to finish edges, see ruclips.net/video/OIUBa41asdg/видео.html Kind regards from Steckborn, Switzerland
Dear Katie, thanks for your comment. We have already taken note of your comment on the Tiffany Pratt video and informed our video production team to consider this when working on future videos. The video above is available with music only. We will have a look at the closed captions though (currently "automatic" English) to make the message easily understandable for the hearing impaired. Kind regards from Switzerland

I love my Bernina 1530 Model. i got it since 1991 and until now i am still in loved with it. It is my first computerized sewing machine.
I have the 1030 Bernina, serviced once in the 28 years that I have owned it. Sews beautifully , have made hundreds of items.

I learned a long time ago that diamonds are NOT forever. Berninas are! Thank you for giving me life-long pleasure! The journey's not over, either.
Hey Tula, you are fabulous
I love my 930 & 440 Bernina's
Great fan for Tula Pink Fabric Designer!
