Never seen the name "Cybusmen" before. I am now forever going to call them that, because they are, 1000%, my favourite design. The newer ones following look way too toy-like.
The Cybusmen are my favorite besides the Nightmare in Silver cyberman. Those are my favorite because they seem like a mix of Cybus and Mondas, and also they can instant upgrade.
@@Dray1 So, The Cyber Legions originated from a cross-pollination of the Cybermen of the main universe (from one of the descendent races of the CyberMondasians; either the CyberFaction, CyberNomads, CyberTelosians and/or CyberNeomorphs) & the Cybermen from the Parallel Earth invented by Cybus Industries, is that it?
You know this makes me wonder, woth the exostence of a parallel earth in Petes world, would that also nean that theres a Mondas as well? If so, whose to say there isnt just a whole new faction of cyber mondasians in Petes world, possibly way more dangwrous than the ones on Petes World Earth
Potentially there are Mondasians. In a Non-Canon source it’s stated that Cybus got the idea from a 1986 invasion at the arctic circle. Of course referring to the Tenth Planet. Meaning that Mondas could’ve existed but we don’t know how it would’ve went down. But if Cybermen did try and invade Pete’s world, I highly doubt they would win since the Preachers were so well equipped. It’s an interesting question.
I only wished that both Daleks and Cybermen and probably humans are willing to form an alliance to secure only peace and order within their connected galaxy.

@@gtaipan7422 the Unbound Universe was close, the Daleks and Thals got along with eachother and the Brigadier so they would’ve gotten on fine with humanity.
Well, not really. Remember, this is after they had hijacked Dalek technology and used their new insight into inter-universal travel to build a massive armada of ships capable of crossing into different universes. So they had become MUCH more advanced by the time they encountered the Borg.
You do realize the cybermen are more technologically advanced right? Well depending on the group as the cybermen are splintered throughout time and space. Some incarnations of the cybermen have inter dimensional tech and even time traveling tech. While I’ve heard the borg had time travel tech the cybermen are more advanced. And honestly if we count the fact the cybermen assimilated a few Borg and integrated their tech we can call the cybermen more powerful. By the time we reach nightmare in silver the cybermen can instantly upgrade and adapt to attacks and even weapons designed to neutralize them. And the cybermites can convert whole planets if left untouched. Oh also if we count timelord cybermen they are more powerful than the borg. If the doctor could destroy a dalek ship with 1 regeneration then imagine cybermen weaponized to be regeneration bombs.
@@Azzameen99AZwell as explained in voyager, the Borg can be pretty stupid, because they can’t think originally. So unless they know how to adapt already, they can’t. This may apply to the cybermen, considering they used the mathematics of the doctor who universe, which is ridiculously more advanced compared to Star Trek.

A good balance between the old who and current new who ones

I find it so interesting how the new who cybermen evolved (especially with the parallel universe going on as well!) :D Great video!!! :)
Thanks! If you think that’s complicated don’t get started on the Marinus situation!
@@Dray1 Doctor Who has so many complex backstories! xD
@@Dray1I think the Age of Steel and Rise of the Cyberman serial is the perfect allegory for fascism or any other ideology that is highly repressive
I always thought that Lumic may have had access to the technology of Tobias Vaughn of International Electomatics.
In Pete’s World Lumic had acquired IE, but I don’t believe they got any Cyber Technology from the acquisition
@@Dray1The bit about using “undesirable” people for experimentation is a reference to eugenics.
Was the video mentioned at the end made yet?
The History of the Silurians was made, yes
This video was very interesting i remember reading the book about the teo kids and the cyberman
Their biggest flaw was using Windows Vista.
True hahaha
Epic video Dray!!
Do The Cyber-Guards from Ascension count? Oh NVM you already said at the end of the video.
Thanks! More should be coming soon and when I do a video on the Cyber Wars the Cyber-Guards should be featured there.

In an ideal N-Space, yes, but sadly they're all too predictable.

The primitive Cybusmen defeated the highly-adaptable Borg?
Suuuuuuuure.

Yeah I’m with you on that one, if it were say the Cyberiad I’d see them being beaten but alas not.
