  • In this video I'll show you how you can turn a demo version of Bose headphones (the ones you find in demo stand of electronic shops) into a completely wireless bluetooth version with very little money. You need some soldering skills, a soldering kit and a micro usb port which costs around 2,00 $.

Really cool video. Super relaxing too. If you’re interested in expanding your subscriber-ship, you might try getting one of those unintentional ASMR channels with a gazilion subscribers to pick it up. You’ve got a great presentation style for that kind of thing. 👍

Thank you. However, this doesn't look like the Bose AE2 model. It looks like QC2

Thanks! It is the AE2 though. I also own a pair of QC2. The one of the video does not have noise cancellation.

I just purchase these headphone on eBay for $20. I was thinking about converted it to the micro usb. But didn’t know how to search for the headphones because the seller did not know what model it is. Happy I fell upon this vid. Where are you from? Would you be able to do this to my headphones?

I am a traveler. Never stay long in one place. But then again with shipping costs and labour costs it would not be worth doing it. Try it yourself, it is a fun project and with the help of internet you will be able to do it. Good luck

It also works on Over the ear bose headphones?

Yes. But for that you either solder the micro usb straight to its already existing micro usb circuit board, or you solder a micro usb port like the one in this video and place it outside of the ear cup and glue it to the headphones externally. I will soon post video on how I did that

Very good! Much better than the equivalent beats, slightly inferior to the equivalent sony. They are also sold on Wish for 30$ refurbished.
